Was looking St Germain, couldn’t find it at the local Waitrose, so tried here. I was overjoyed to find he had it in stock. Brilliant!

My husband bought a Rum and a water bottle while passing by, they don’t provide a paper receipt, they said to him “check it later” now we are home and realize by the online receipt that they charged a Vodka as well(they are the one picking the bottles and giving it to us) now trying to ask for the refund and there is no way to communicate with them through internet other than coming back to London. So don’t trust in the way they charge!

🍞🤢 Unacceptable Hygiene and Ignored Complaints: A Disappointing Bakery Visit

When I bought the bread, I didn't expect that when I opened the package, I would see hair in it. Naturally, I couldn't eat it. I returned the bun to the store. There is a photo confirming this incident. When I returned to the shop, the staff saw me and simply started walking away and ignoring me, even after several attempts to get their attention. I am very disappointed ☹️

Fresh cheap organic vegetables and fruits options. The staff is helpful. I still got the prime discount even I have American Amazon Prime membership.

LC is the quintessential, artesinal store we don't deserve, but sorely need. The boys are passionate and know their craft, providing knowledgeable and warm service. Our cheese sandwich was umami packed delicious, without being too oily. Looking forward to eating our takeaway goodies of parmigiano-reggiano and burrrata. A must visit whilst in Chelsea.

Boring staff no smiles or welcoming comments, we sat outside in the back this evening no plates or cutlery until we nearly finished our cheese and meats, I hasten to add no pickles, olives or crackers included? which was supermarket standard, nothing special !!!! wine was old and and been open for several days, toilets full of black mould and the whole place out the back needs a deep clean, if this is where locals give a 5 star rating they need to venture outside there own area once and a while to see what is available else where. We would not return or give our custom again, This is open and honest opinion!!!
Great cheese variety, staff is well prepared and very friendly. Would suggest to get more variety especially of non pasteurised cheeses, besides would come back

Lovely wine store with a broad l, well curated selection for retail and £10 crocks to drink in. A new glass washer wouldn’t hurt but a lovely place I’ll return to.

Such wonderful cooking for a local eaterie; very reasonable price point too - as though you are actually in France and it is your human right to eat well. I had a delicious beetroot and trout (cut into a tiny mound of food) which was such a delicate flavour (soaked with gin the waiter said) then boulabaisse. Excellent wine list and knowledge from staff. Small restaurant so book or be disappointed. A neighbourhood gem. The wine was perfect (I had to go buy some afterwards).
London Cheesemongers provided a wonderful cheese platter for our wedding - Richard the owner was very communicative and provided excellent advice on which cheeses would complement one another. The cheese itself was reasonably priced for the quantity and high quality; and they offered a great delivery service. Would highly recommend!

I was feet away from the reputable Davy’s wine shop on Fleet Street the other day, and I needed some wine. In spite of the convenient option, I decided to go home via Wapping and visit this place instead. My friend doesn’t like red wine, but the proprietor of this fantastic shop was able to take a few hints on their taste and recommend something that wowed us both - as he does every time. This shop is worth a special trip.
Here for a birthday celebration with my wife and two of our grown up ‘kids’. So good to be in a quality service orientated venue. Incredible Rhône wine list with food that was as much of a treat as the wine. dishes were classic and extremely well presented. Tasting superb as well. Santé. Thoroughly recommend.
This lovely comptoir has excellent wines. The mini pistachio filled puffs are lovely. I enjoy sitting outside (regardless of the season) as long as the heaters are in you’re fine!
Went for a glass of wine after work. Quick service. We had a couple of side dishes including oysters and mushroom arancini. It’s a great place for dates and small groups of 3-4 people. They also have few tables outside.

One of the best whole foods in the UK, if not the best.
Customer service is great, produce is always top of the line. From fruits and veg grown organically in the UK to imported fruits from Thailand and the Philippines, all perfectly ripe and the best quality produce.

Always worth a stop of you're in the area.

I have always shopped at Wholefoods but I am beginning to question their brand integrity and if they even care what they are feeding their customers nowadays. I’m not sure if they have a new buyer but selling Mcvitties hobnobs, ritz crackers and Kellogg’s crunchy nut has made me lose total trust in the products they sell. I would go there because I trusted they were selling brands with WHOLE FOODS but it seems profits are more important so have jumped on the processed garbage. Very disappointed, thankfully Planet Organic still have standards and care about the products they supply and where they came from. Hopefully someone speaks to the buyer and they but things right.

5 stars in the brasserie level of restaurant. Bottom line is that we loved Blandford Comptoir--we will dine here again. The food is excellent and fresh, evidenced by the small number of offerings on the menu. The saffron seafood veloute was fragrant and we loved all the starters. The wine list is more than excellent, including high quality wines by the glass and some splendid bottles (esp check out the hermitage and surrounding areas on the menu). The staff are fantastic and enthusiastic. Great meal, we will be back soon.

Where are you from?

We go in, and trying to find a seat, in the back, a large French man, not quite speaking Pigeon bellows to me "Please sit down. Fromage, Vino?" Like an old friend from school, he pats my back, leading us to a seat. He is with some equally drunk friends, men and women, English and French. Thing is, I didn't even look at their faces, I had moved into myself, so I just saw tables where we might sit. I didn't look at his face either. I only looked at the face of one woman, perhaps his partner, who was seated, drinking, with tight curly hair, mildly imploringly just once. Like a blackened pit pony, being lead down a mine, hoping for some reprieve.

The room is tight, and the two tables where we could sit are crammed in next to the big table where the group sit. "Would you like this table or the one over there?" he shouts. He's pretending to be my waiter., "Please come, welcome." he acts as if on stage. "Do you work here?" I ask, regretting the emission of this sheeplike lubricating bleat from my mouth, my naive attempt to make sense of this all, and anyway half not really being quite sure if he does. "Noooo" he smiles, No! laughs out loud.

We sit down, but he goes on "What would you like, Jambon, Vin Rouge, Fromage?" making a show of serving me. I can't think what else to say.

"Where are you from?" he asks.

I go through the possibilities, I've thought I should respond with "What social class are you", but it feels too rude to say now, as I shake my head, stare at the table under me, raise my eyebrows, smile slightly. I now realize what this actually is. I am surprised because I was not expecting it. The ice breaks. How could he? "Where are you from?" he says again. Further pause. He sees I am silent and still. He cottons on, I'm not playing his game, and whats the game anyway, for me to feel grateful, to have been given a seat at the table? Strangely he suddenly gives me the multiple choice "Crouch End?" worried he's overstepped the line that can be taken when playing this special game. Forget India and the Colonies. Well thats something at least. Relieved, I say "I'm from Turnpike Lane.", because I simply wish the game to end. And he replies, the final move to put me in my place "O, an adventurer".

He turns around, and leaves us alone. I can't remember the noises the audience made as they listened to this little micro-something or other. Later she tells me "You need to be better at dealing with this sort of thing.", "Yes, I know" I say.

Silvester and it was very good
The Soup was delicious thx and much Cheaper Than the Strip Vegas
Ordered a cheeseboard online for Christmas delivery. I was let down by the delivery company DHL. I let this shop know, not really expecting anything to happen only that I'd claim a refund at some point. However, the manager/owner really went above and beyond by putting a new cheeseboard together and getting it couriered on Christmas Eve morning. Really exemplary customer service.

Oh and the cheese was excellent!
Fabulous little bistro just off Marylebone High St. Staff are friendly and offer efficient but relaxed service.

They do a lunch special which is great value. We had steak frites with salad for £15 (2023) plus a 375ml carafe of wine.
Great selection of wine, delicious cheeses and cured meats, as well as deli. Very friendly people at the store and quick delivery.

GG: For my first time experience in the shop I have to say Food was very good, fresh and healthy.
However, I lost an item - my yellow umbrella who was gifted - in the toilets and when I checked to see if it was there ,it wasn’t found, someone took it. Unfortunately , there are not anymore honest people in our society.
Best wishes,

A fancier and cleaner version of the typical UK supermarket, offering fresh healthy foods, delicious cakes and snacks, salad bars and hot foods (e.g. chicken, lasagne, soup, pizza). Wonderful selection of different brands that aren't usually offered in other stores. The pumpkin pie sold here is delicious.

A dining area is located just after the tills where you can eat whatever you've just purchased. Nice relaxing environment. Toilets and florist located downstairs.

Came for dinner and ordered the lamb stew, croquettes, turmeric chicken, octopus and black pudding. The food was so savoury and delicious - everything cooked and seasoned to perfection! The chef was running the whole operation, was so friendly, and the wait wasn’t too long for the food either. Would definitely come back!!

Nice and cosy place. We enjoyed the dinner and the food was delicious. The lemon chicken was so soft and yummy. The service was a bit slow though and we had to wait for some time to order and be served. It was a busy evening!
Went with my family to eat his “world famous” cheese grilled sandwich. Instead, met the “worst ever” cheese store owner. After purchasing 3 of the suppossedly “world famous” cheese grilled sandwiches, the owner did not allow my neuro-divergent son (who was having trouble coping with extreme sunlight) to stand (let alone sit) to eat his sandwich in a small table by the shadow in front of his store. His kicked us out (citing the tables in front of his store could not be used), and we were forced to eat his mediocre sandwich sitting in the sidewalk. After reading all the reviews, he will become the “world infamous” man. Afterwards, we saw him sitting with his friends in the exact same table which he did not let my son stand (let alone sit) to eat his sandwich. Total arrogance and lack of empathy.

Really nice lunch. Unfortunately, they mixed up our order and brought us the wrong thing. However, they did their best to give us an alternative given we had to get back to work, and didn't have much time. They didn't charge us for lunch in the end, which was really nice. On the whole, the experience was really good.

Really nice place - great food, service and laid back atmosphere. Didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all even though our friends were a bit late in coming. Excellent menu with plenty of meaty, veggie and vegan options to keep everyone happy. Also the prices are very reasonable for London. Highly recommended.
Quality of food really good, but small portions... I ended up paying £16 for a spoon of pasta... a bit excessive!
Small space too, so out table was near the stoves: super hot.
Loud music did not make our conversation easy.
All together, good but I will not come back

Well I don’t know what to say, just had the most shocking experience. So I came with my team for a work event, we all work in tech. We were having a good time, food was okay, Customer service was excellent, drinks were flowing, we were enjoying our time and then our operations manager said we will play a game of pub quiz. We are literally in teams writing down our answers on a sheet, being respectful not too loud because again it’s a work event, we have to be professional. The manager comes in full blazing saying she “doesn’t know if we are gambling or what but this is not allowed, we are not a pub, your time is up, you got go” We are all sat here in complete shock and actually feeling very embarrassed as she was even turning red whilst going in at us. I have never had such an experience. We only spent over 1k for you to treat us like gangsters, just woooow!!!! You could have spoken to us in a better manner. Wont be back even though it’s round the corner from our office!

Came by this store by coincidence and I was really excited to try it out since we don’t have these stores in Austria and I like to try new tech stuff. Setup through the Amazon app was really easy, and the store was chock-full with items and it was interesting to see all those cameras and sensors that are mounted to the ceiling. But somehow they missed an item from my purchase. But either way, interesting technology.

Disappointing wine tasting we expected more for the price. The overall experience did not feel much like an event it felt as though we were interrupting the staff doing their clear up despite booking weeks in advance. We would have liked more of a welcome as the staff did not greet us on entry. Also more of a breakdown of each wine would be appreciated with the staff member being engaging and taking more time to explain and leave room for questions. The cheese and charcuterie pairing was tiny for the number of guests again we would have expected more. I would not recommend the wine tasting though the wine was ok.

Visited the whole foods market at high street Kensington in London and found an amazing variety of food options. Loved the choice of wines and cheese. Extremely difficult to decide with huge varieties. We visited around 7 and the place was deserted :) and seems they were operating with a reduced staff. Prices are slightly on the higher side however quality of the products are really good. They have a live food counter which is sold based on the weight of the food. I loved the variety of salads here too. I would recommend definitely visiting here for the cheese and wine options.

This is the best place I’ve eaten at in all of London. Seriously run, don’t walk, to come here. The sole proprietor is so nice and the food is incredible. Would absolutely come back here time and time again. We had the pork belly salad, turmeric chicken with rice, and gluten free tagline.
Note that this is more of an off-licence than a “wine merchants’”. I was looking for somewhere to buy a really good bottle of wine and this wasn’t the place - but a great little generalist off-licence.

Had a very nice meal with my team here. The environment is very nice and relaxed. The doors to the outside were open because it was a very warm day.
The food was very nice, I had a steak and was amazing. Unfortunately I didn't like that there were so many chips on my plate, I wish there were more greens, or vegetables instead of so many chips.
The horseradish sauce with the dish was very tasty.
I finished my meal with the Moscatel de Setubal and truffles and it was amazing, I would definitely recommend it.
I was very happy with the meal, and the full team enjoyed the restaurant also. Great and quick service. Will definitely return.

A rather basic off licence. The beer selection is limited to pretty much the bare essentials, macro lager, etc. Not much I’m the way of craft beer in general let alone London breweries in particular. Didn’t take a close look at the other types of alcohol on offer. Nothing to go out of your way to visit but a place to pick up basics locally.

Staff are friendly but not knowledgeable about wine. The chardonnay I was looking for was not available at the shop. The staff grabbed the wine right next to him and said to me that one was good. He didn't even ask what I liked about the one I was looking for.
In a city fast paced city where people barely have the time to say hello when you're shopping, Ravi in his shop is a breath of fresh social air and customer service. Super great to pop in and have a quick chat and grab some beer. Has an increasingly diverse craft beer selection and he'll know a bit about each of them as well.

There was an absolutely fantastic Aussie gent who was brilliantly passionate and took us through all the wines, selected just for us and stuck to the budget.

Really made it so fun.

Thanks pal.
My go-to shop for wine, it’s an absolute gem. I asked if they could find me a few bottles of a particular Tuscany red and a week later they were on the shelf: “we got them for you”. I don’t want to raise expectations, this may not always be possible, but I can usually find something red and interesting at a very reasonable price, and it’s a really friendly place. I couldn’t recommend it more.
Absolutely amazing place. The owner is very friendly and a great man. He has a son as well who was very nice and engaged in a wonderful conversation with me. He was very beautiful as well what a legend. Love the establishment and overall it was the best experience of my life.

My absolute favourite cheeses in London! Everything I’ve tried from this shop has been fantastic.
The Coolea has become my staple cheese at home, and the Parmesan is the best I’ve ever tried (I literally didn’t realise Parmesan could be this good).
Trying the mozzarella today!
Service has always been excellent - every recommendation has been 100% spot-on.

Went there for a quick bite and drink on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was a bit hesitant about this place, considering that they have a few locations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was nicely cooked and well seasoned. The wine selection is nice, with some interesting and unusual wines. The place was laid back and not pretentious.

Best place to buy different drinks, some of which I never heard of. Good price. And if you are doing a party, you can sometimes get drinking glasses free.

Our local wine shop. Can’t fault the friendly service, great prices, free flowing tastings and free delivery. They also run great wine tasting events from time to time
I stumbled across this quite unique and exquisite establishment a few years ago and I always go in and pick up a bottle or two as they do stock some sought after limited edition bottles of whiskey.
The shop also stocks some decent craft beers and the wine selection is absolutely fantastic, all sold at competitive prices.
The staff are extremely knowledgable and they will go that extra mile to get you what you want.
The shop is always clean and tidy hence it is a real gem in the area, especially when independent retailers are hard to find as the big chain stores try to sell everything.
I was astonished to see a one star rating and to be honest I couldn’t comprehend the comments after all there was a note on the front to say the shop would be trading different hours.
I’ll definitely be popping back in on Wednesday to collect my beers for the World Cup.

Great elegant place with character and a wide selection of wines.
We enjoyed a sunny day sitting in the tables outside.
We ordered few bites and everything was tasty as well as nicely presented.
Staff was extremely friendly and very responsive to our requests.
Would definitely return.

Excellent service, highly knowledgeable and friendly staff (honours to Abraham and Johnny), I'm a frequent customer and taster of their free tastings. They also set up tasting events which I'm yet to and keen to attend. That I guess is the whole point of a physical store: to offer what it's just not possible on their website and they accomplish that with perfection.
Excellent choice of beers with fantastic service. Love going there to discover another gem of a beer.

Fantastic place, good selection of wines, non alcoholic drinks and an absolutely epic selection of beers!! Including hard to find craft beers, Ravi is very knowledgeable about everything he stocks and is always friendly and polite.
Friendly and very attentive service, great wine, perfect cozy ambience, and excellent food. The wine list had lots of choices at various prices including many affordable choices. The food is the reason to come. We ordered several sides in addition to one shared main and enjoyed everything brought to the table. The cheesy polenta, Courgette flower, sweet Sicilian prawns, charcuterie, roast French quail, and roasted lamb rump were all perfectly prepared, and each was remarkably flavorful. Even the green peas (I'm not usually a fan) were gorgeous. The lemon tart was a great finish to the meal. Really great restaurant.

Good selection of wine, and beer, from all over the world. Very knowledgable and enthusiastic team on hand for help and recommendations. Always a nice bottle or two open at the tasting counter too which always helps!
