The beach is fantastic. Soft golden sand stretches for miles at the same level as the road and car parks so easy access.
Only problem is there isn't much here. 1 cafe/ice cream hut I imagine gets very busy during the summer hols.
But ideal beach to bring a picnic with the kids and spend the day. The sea is very calm towards the beach due to how far the beach goes out, so great for swimmers.
It was a bit windy that day but he had a really nice time. I missed the beach so much.
Good seaside place for a stroll. Very accessible and with a cafe and shops near.

It's one of my favourite places to ride through.

I ran along Colwyn Bay promenade today. It is a great place to run. It's nice and flat. I wanted to run 4 miles, so I started off at Bryn Williams restaurant and ran 2 miles towards Rhos on Sea. The 2 miles got me to St Trillo’s Chapel, I put my watch on pause while I stopped to go in and pray that I could make the 2 miles back 🙏 then turned around and headed back.
Really enjoyable run with such lovely views.
Absolutely lovley place, alot of money been spent on this area, the locals were telling us that the beach has been resanded with sand from Liverpool, all new street furniture and charge points for phones, a bike repair station and shops toilets bars and children's play park, I can't speak highly enough about this lovley place 🫶🫶🫶🫶definitely worth a visit❤️
Gorgeous sandy beach that stretches three miles all around the bay. Super convenient for walking into Colwyn Bay town (up under the train bridge) with shops, pubs and cafes. There's kiosks and vans for ice-cream/drinks dotted along, The Toad for a pint, Bryn Williams does great coffee and fancy food, and if you walk round into Rhos on Sea, there's even more. On street parking right on the prom means you can set up for the day and easily nip back to the car without crossing any roads. The prom is nice and wide, so there's loads of space for dog walkers, runners, kids on bikes, rollerskating, blowing up paddle boards, etc. And the sunrises and sunsets are absolutely beautiful.

a very beautiful place. I recommend everyone to visit. inspiration and delight . I visit very often
The promenade is clean and tidy, plenty of bins, there's a large sandy beach, plenty of parking at the usual seaside rates, but the pay machines All have contactless payment or cash so no find change. Plenty of seating easy access from the A55. Can imagine it gets very busy in the summer,
