My honest review; I just went today for the first time. I asked the cashier clerk what was their spiciest beef bbq and she pointed it out on the menu. I told her that it's the first time I tried their restaurant. I waited for about 15 mins and took my order for take out. As soon as I opened my to go plate, I noticed very minimal rice. Then I dug in for the spicy beef and my reaction was that I couldn't eat it! Their beef cubes were VERY mushy, flaky and mixed with the sauce which made it even worst! It seemed like they used old beef (NOT FRESH) to re-cook for my plate! I literally ate the rice that was quarter of my plate and the half a Naan and salad. The main part of the dish was the beef and it was TERRIBLE! This is NOT BBQ and it was NOT fresh! I wasted my money and paid $20.95 for nothing! I definitely won't be going back again!

The food was delicious with authentic taste. Loved their kabuli pulao. The lamb was very juicy and tender. Definitely a recommended place if you love Pakistani food.

I stumbled into this restaurant on a lunchtime break. Originally I wanted to try the Mexican restaurant nearby but felt the atmosphere fit my work clothes and the hostess brushed me off . Walking the strip mall I found Khan Kebabs . I was warmly welcomed and assisted with the menu. They have a daily soup broth which was offered for free to all patrons .
I enjoyed the lamb yakhni soup while I waited for a lunch chicken tinka wrap . The price was only 11dollars ans some change for a lunch special. It was delicious, spice beautifully with a mint yogurt chutney. The best part of the meal was the homemade pita.My tastebuds were in heaven, I mentioned to the server what a surprise to have a fresh homemade pita wrap . It certainly pushed this wrap and experience to a 10 out of 10 . The value and quality of food exceeded my expectations. I was surprised it wasn’t as packed as the 3 amigos . Please , try this one . You’re not to be disappointed. I am sure the rest of the menu is delicious!

We had a friends and family reunion by our very famous and beloved friend Umar bhai.

Umar bhai have invited few families from different parts of Alberta.

The food was very tasty. Every single dish was 10/10. Chapal kebab, mandi rice, kabli pilao, biryani, lamb karahi…..every single dish was outstanding.

Lovely staff and it is a kid friendly restaurant.

Ordered a few items yesterday evening and was pleasantly surprised how tasty the food is. It wasn’t overwhelming with spices and my kids enjoyed it as well! It was the perfect blends of flavours. Worth every penny! Thank you for making our dinner so enjoyable. We’ll order regularly from now on.

Great place for authentic pakistani , afghani and meditarrian fusion!! The chicken was expertly cooked and so juicy! Their complimentary chicken broth soup was very good. Received amazing service from the warm and welcoming owner Kassar! Affordable prices for such big portions. Great atmosphere and very muslim friendly with prayer mats and big, clean washrooms to wudu in!! Great hole in the wall will definitely bring my friends next time!

First time to try the restaurant. It's clean and neat. Service is nice. Afghani/Kabuli Pullao (lamb) is mild. It's cooked with raisins and carrots. The rice tastes sweet with a little spice flavor. The lamb portion is good. It's tender and good flavor. Beef Seekh Kebab is good portion as well. The beef seekh kebab has a rich flavor and is seasoned with various spices. It comes with salads, rice, and naan.

First time ordering take out
The salad was very old and the meat was black, too much spices and old and uncooked well
I ate some of it and I’m sick to my stomach

Was so old we had to throw the whole order out

Went to eat at Sahara about 1 year ago and been wanting to go back since, we finally came back and the food was just as phenomenal as I remembered. I’m looking forward to our next visit

Shawarma here is super delicious and the fact that comes with some fries is a plus. Alao really enjoyed the Lentil Soup. Will visit again.

This Pakistani restaurant in Canada truly exceeded my expectations! The Peshawri Karahi was a burst of flavors, perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The beef kebabs were succulent and full of authentic Pakistani taste. The naans were fluffy and served piping hot. This place undoubtedly ranks as the best Pakistani restaurant I've visited in Canada. The ambiance and service only added to the exceptional experience. $18 for ice cold fries and a small beef wrap. I was concerned about the price but the guy said it would be worth it.
Im a 3 minute to home. The fries should be hot.

I can walk 2 blocks to a similar place and get close to the same thing but way better for $13 .

If I wanted ice cold fries, I could have dug some out of the gabage at McDonald's

10/10 recommend you come here! We enjoyed a delicious lunch, served with soup to start! The chicken shawarma is a generous serving of deliciousness. I highly recommend asking for the Arabic tea! Andrew was an excellent server, who was the nicest and added a personal and fun experience to our meal!

This was hands down the BEST restaurant experience I have had in a while. My Kid and I wanted to try a new place and came across Sahara Palace. From the moment we walked in the door we were taken by the calm, cool atmosphere, and the warm welcome and hospitality we received from Andrew.

We choose the set meal at $45/person as it seemed like a great way to try a bit of everything. We weren't wrong. From start to finish every dish was not only delicious, but a beautiful work of art. Simply stunning!

For those thinking the price point is high, NOPE! The quality was top notch and there was so much food! We had to stop eating and box up food to take home to save room for dessert!

Seriously incredible! Andrew (our host) is super personable and friendly, portions are massive, and O. M. G. the food is all so beautiful and absolutely FULL of flavour! We got the Set meal so we got to try a variety of items and despite how full we were we couldn't help but order some baklava anyway! 100% from me, definitely coming here over and over!

Update: he brought out tea with the Baklava because he's just that awesome

I recently dined at Sahara in Edmonton and was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The decor was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The menu had a great variety of options and the food was absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the beef shawarma wrap and the baklava for dessert. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. Food was so good I didn't take pictures haha. I highly recommend Sahara to anyone looking for a great meal in Edmonton. Five stars all around!
