One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Service was wonderful. What a pleasant surprise.

I may be biased here, but in my opinion the price you pay is a lot more than what you get in value.
The taste was just okay, the portions were too small for the price, and the waiters were just fine not the friendliest.
Plus, there is no card payment here! And when asked why since the place is a bit on the pricey side so they should have card payments, the workers there said it was due to not stable Internet connection.

Syrian-lebanese restaurant with very good middle-eastern food. Great place to share one of the 12 or more item selections on the menu. The drink service is a bit slow, and some items on the drink list aren't actually available. Otherwise, no complaints.

It was nice to sit outside, but kind of hoped for a little more Greek Flair in the patio area.

We had the best experience having dinner there as a griup of friends. The restaurant has a lot of space, our waiter was super nice and even though he didnt speak english and they don’t have menus, he recommended me the lamb which was great and also the wine which was excellent. I totally recommend this place if you want to eat good greek food!! Specially the lamb!!
Just be cautios when ordering because the portions are rather big!!!

A wonderful restaurant with really delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. The dining room was beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was perfect and our waiter was extremely kind and helpful. Also very family friendly.

Finally came here after wanting to try this restaurant since we moved to Mainz and it did not disappoint! We are always looking for flavorful, ethnic foods in the area, and with Mainz being very limited in providing those, we were thrilled to find Damas. We had the 6 mezze starter menu which is a preset menu with some amazing spreads and fried goodies. I could eat just the appetizers and my tummy would be happy and full. The main course was delicious as well. The rice is soft, fluffy and flavorful, and the meats were all very tender and seasoned perfectly. I’m usually very wary of chicken, but the chicken was probably my favorite part of the main course! It was juicy and very well cooked. There was also this whipped garlic cream (not sure of the name) that really complimented the meats and was unlike anything else I have ever tasted. It had a very smooth consistency like the hummus, but was light and airy. Thanks for a wonderful meal and such friendly service!

Even though the place does not look appealing from the outside, the atmosphere and the vibe inside was wonderful! We ordered a menu for two - a set of 12 appetizers came within 10 minutes and all of them were absolutely delicious, tasty and with the perfect amount of spices! I could not fault any of them. Second part of the menu arrived on our table approximately 45 minutes later as the restaurant was fairly busy. I have to especially compliment the chicken as the flavours, taste and tenderness were off the hook, absolute top quality! The lamb was a bit chewy but overall good. Rice was perfectly done, wonderfully spiced. Nice touch were these little pieces of pizza bread with a little spicy kick to it. Lebanese red wine perfectly complemented the dinner.

You could possibly get more meat for the money you pay, but on the other hand we barely finished the whole meal. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. There is a small seating area outside, however I feel it might be a bit noisy as the restaurant is located on the main road. We paid with a card.

Very delicious greek food. I think in my opinion it is the best in this town. Make sure u tell‘m u want more tzatziki. Trust me :)
It is a nice, clean modern traditional restaurant. The owners i think are running there business over 30 years I think 🤔
The owners are warm hearted people.
They do accept debit and credit cards to.

Delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, and reservations are strongly recommended.

I give 5 stars because it is absolutely solid Greek cuisine.
