Loved this public park; the conifer garden was my favorite. The lilly pad pond was so peaceful and filled with frogs, tadpoles & dragon flies. My new favorite tree is the Round Leaf beech :)

Had great weather to walk the East, Fern, West Meadow, Spruce and hidden Marsh trails. Have good hiking shoes if you walk the hidden Marsh. Enjoyed with the wife and 2 teenage kids.

A lovely place to walk or hike - donation recommended but was otherwise free.

I really enjoyed being able to walk the grounds & learn more about the trees, plants & flowers that were around the beautiful landscape. Suggested $5 donation, they also have some really great events scheduled!

Easy walk thru forest, fields, etc. bathroom available. Interactive area for kids to build fairy houses. $5 Donation suggested. Time spent: 75 min

Educational, engaging, artistically designed and uplifting! Mountaintop Arboretum is the keystone of the Catskills when it comes to land stewardship! To be a beacon of native gardening is no easy task! Especially when functioning in the capacity of a non-profit organization. Their mission depends on member support. Consider giving today.

Hidden Marsh is wonderful. Hemlock trail, you definitely need some hiking boots/shoes for because it's covered in roots and rocks. Few slight inclines.
Wonderful place to just stroll around as well and see the names of all the different trees, sit by the small pond and just take in nature. Can't wait to go back and do the meadow trails and woodland trail. I also love all the Thomas Cole quotes on the trails.
Lovely place, and there was no charge to enter.
Edit: Went back this year and did woodland and meadow areas. Beautiful and peaceful.

Loved spending an afternoon here, walked out to the marsh with friends, enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of nature, and got to enjoy watching the wildlife all over. The trails are perfectly marked and kept up while not detracting from the undisturbed vibe this area gives off! Highly recommend for a day out with family or friends or even a solitary hike.
