Very nice little park/ nature preserve with walking trails.not real big but great to get a quick walk in and watch some wild life while doing so.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover the trails to be well marked and maintained. I know this place has Hunting Area in its name but what I found was a beautiful easy trail area with benches over looking the pond and a small picnic area with a table surrounded by amazing wildflowers. I would highly recommend this for people looking to get out into nature close to home.
Nice trail close to home! Clearly marked and nice views. Just under 2 miles for the outer loop.

Nice trails to walk. But the bus are out in force. Remember this is a swamp bug type area.

Lovely peaceful place to walk! Nice to have different options for longer or shorter loops. We enjoyed seeing deer, squirrels and wild turkeys!
This is. Great trail to go on with the kids especially with the walk along book reading thing they got goin on.
Great place to walk my dogs! Not many people, quite a bit of wildlife, and the dogs always manage to find some water (or mud) to play in, which they love. Only negative is that my senior dog isn't a big fan of the gravel after awhile.
Black Fork Bottoms is a shared use area, so it's important to pay attention to when it's open for hunting only. A great place to walk the dog. Mowed paths, a big swamp and an overlook of the entire area. A real hidden gem right off US 42
Great peaceful place to relax!
Pretty nice little trail system. If it is wet out some of the trails will be flooded over. The outer loop trail is roughly 2 miles, we added the inner loop on to get it just over 3 miles for a nice little trail run. Pretty descent elevation changes to.
Nice trails. Small parking lot. Its behind the school so follow that route in.
While it's a great place to hike there isn't much options to sit and just enjoy nature around you. The trails are also hard to access for several days after rain due to being dirt. That said I enjoy the serenity here.
Beautiful park, so much to see. Fall colors especially nice this year!
