Had a beautiful walk around the area with my two pups, so relaxing
Love to come here and check out the eagles nest and get a quick mile or two in on the walking track! Afterwards. I love to go to my favorite ice cream place. Mary Ann's Dairy bar!
Is lifetime experience
Set aside your preconceived picture of a field of floating cranberries. This bog has way more to it than a few cranberries. The bog's name is actually taken from the nearby Cranberry Creek that run through it. (FYI, bogs often look more swamp-like with short, scraggling looking trees an account of anerobic and acidic conditions due caused by a huge sponge of spagnum moss that undergirds everything.) We took a 2 hr guided, educational tour that is offered periodically. One should call and find when and make a reservation ahead of time. The $6 cost per person is very reasonable. Our guide, Barrett, was excellent in his ability to tell us everything we didn't know we wanted to know about the bog. It was surprising how enjoyable it was. There's no way a person could leave without a greater appreciation of the unique biome of bogs.
Good little hike found spotted some neat stuff takes you almost right up to the big briefly and then mainly highland area. I had a toddler with me took us about 45 mins taking our time this is for the public trail not the cranberry bog and tour itself.
What a magical place. We had a great tour with our guide.
Awesome… I love this trail..
Do the guided hike! You'll learn so much, it's amazing.
Lovely walk to take! Many spring wildflowers were blooming. Loved the addition of benches and new native trees planted. Of course, the creek views were pleasing!
A nice location for an easy stroll. Well maintained flat paths with plenty of parking. Other than the Bald Eagles nesting nearby there isn't a whole lot of nature to see. Just a few squirrels and groundhogs
A beautiful slice of nature and the perfect one-mile trail, plus many meadow paths to chose from and some streamside views too. It's a birder's paradise with all the habitat it offers. The stream access is a bit tricky, but not impossible. Dog owners love it here so expect to see furry friends.

Phenomenal experience today with our guide, Matt. The area is beautiful and primordial. Matt did an amazing job of explaining tall to small, from moss to forest trees over 200 years old to insects to salamanders, all while keeping us safe from the poisonous varieties of plants. The area is beautifully kept and is intensely unique. A joy to experience.
Everyone should do this at least once if not once for each season. Interesting and informative.
Lovely, quiet, peaceful and easy to walk. There are gravel paved trails through the trees but also broad, mowed paths through the areas of grass and bush, which give a feeling of true immersion among the plants and fauna. Lots of little interesting things to stumble upon too. Going in early autumn was a treat, with the cool, mild weather, changing leaves and dried plant life bursting with strange seeds.
Excellent tour, beautiful surroundings that are carefully preserved by the nature preserve.
Good talk, nice walk, observed a couple bald eagles.
Lovely place to go for a walk or jog. Bald Eagles also live here. We normally walk our dog around the ring. The ring is 1 mile long.
Bob was very informative. Great facility.
A very nice place for a leisurely walk. The main trail is gravel but they have cut outs through the middle to explore plant and animal life. There are a lot of Hawks and the variety of natural plant life is simply beautiful.
My dog loves it here. The park is a gorgeous model of what rewilding can provide for our community and this preserve is a blessing for us all.
Great place to train our puppy. Lots of areas and distractions. They do a great job keeping the grounds and trail clean.
Wow. Definitely recommend. We went on the Wednesday walk. It was amazing to see this lush unique environment. The guide, Brittany, was very good. We learned so much.
