One of the best parks in Seattle! Great pic nic areas, walking and jogging trails and wonderful views of Seattle and Bellevue across lake Washington! We were there for a cancer walk event. Check out the Audubon Society store!
Great park in the city. Easy walk around, also some small trail across and great views.
My favorite place to walk! Very beautiful and peaceful park where you can choose short and long (little over 1hr) walking trails. The park has kids playground as well.
My favorite place to bird in the city!!
Went for the education talk session on Sunday and a short walk at the park with beautiful scenery and clear skies. We could see Mt. Rainier as well.
Love my weekend walks... colors are changing plus the wildlife is remarkable. Such a gift within the city!

Such a lovely place to go walking! Lots of flowers and other wildlife! We saw many cute ducks and no coyotes. Be warned there were a lot of gnats! But still incredible! And lots of planes and sea planes coming in.
I never thought this area is so beautiful, calm, peaceful, and gorgeous so much. It took a little bit of time and curiosity to explore around. I saw a lot of people jogging and walking along different trails. I hope I could spend more time running and wondering around. Such a great place immersing yourself into the beautiful Nature. I felt relaxed and calm after the visit
Never thought I'd be one for bird watching but everyone I meet on the trail is so friendly and willing to tell me what's around. Great views. Trails could sometimes use a bit more maintenance (wear shoes that can handle mud) but overall it's a fantastically calm and beautiful area.
My wife and I did a bird watching tour. We had a great time. It took 2 1/2 hours.
Very nice place. Lakes were all frozen. Parking was free on holidays. Nice place for bird photography. There were lots of swans, ducks, geese to be seen.
Peaceful and calming trails, great water access for paddlers, and chunky beavers everywhere. Good times in the City.
Love the trees by the water and in the fall its a beautiful place plus the birds 🐦 🦆🐿🐸🍁🍂🍃it has nice walking trail.
Saw a kingfisher here for the first time, and recently there was a nest of freshly hatched pied-billed grebes. Best place close to the city for birding
Very cool trail system with great great views of our waterways and Mt Rainier. Bunny rabbits are not as timid here. Some really cool spots with benches to sit or draw. I used to torment the geese in these wetlands in the early 80s when it was just swamp. This when I learned, once you're wet, can't get any wetter.
They have wonderful inexpensive classes you can take. From native plants to owl prowl, & more. Beautiful park as well.
