Top Train stations in Iselin, United States

I took NJ Transit to New York today (July 31 2024). Human feces on level 4 stairwell at 9 am was still there at 6:30 pm. High prices, poor service and nobody cleans.

metropark parking, there is nowhere to park, everything is reserved. The payment machines are broken, to leave the parking lot. There is a lot of congestion, everything is chaos, no one does anything. everything happens in the afternoon. Trains delayed or cancelled. The traffic lights do not help relieve car congestion, it is terrible.

Most of the express trains stop here after Newark liberty international airport. Main station for Amtrak trains too.

Convenient and relatively clean. Lots of parking and very well-lit. Easy pick-up and drop-off. Free 20-minute parking while waiting for pickup.

Nice well maintained station. Gets very crowded during rush hours. Driving in and out in the evenings is a challenge.

You can take Njtransit North East Corridor line to New York or Trenton.

You can also take Amtrak to various places around the country

We took train from Metropark station to DC … checking in was easier.. we had to walk across to Track 4 and that is where I have taken the photos from .. there are electronic boards displaying the expected arrivals of the train 🚊

It’s the only or best way to get to NY .. extremely crowded in weekdays .. parking and going out of parking is such a headache. Not because it is slow, but the guy at the back of u tail gates or honks at you, even if u are going at the corrrect speed . There are also folks using wrong ways to get out quickly which is unacceptable.. I never leave way for wrong route drivers .. apart from that they have a good cafe, coffee, and 20 min parking spaces which are all awesome . When coming back from NY to Metropark, there is only one way out and it becomes a chaos where people push others to get out .. sorry state :( because of this I see youngsters battling for elevator and many old people have to wait for the next elevator ! In any case this is the only way to go to NY and we can’t crib more on Metropark :(
