Top Holiday parks in Leiwen, Germany

Stayed at one of the 4L bungalows. Had a great time, very quiet and really felt as though we were in the woods. Service was also good, and found the facilities to be everything I would expect at a Landal. My only complaint is that for a luxury suite there was quite a bit broken... tv was broken (though quickly fixed), internet was constantly in and out, the shower flooded everytime it was used, lots of missing cups and plates, and broken kitchen utensils etc etc

This Landal park is fantastic for children. They have really nice playgrounds outside as well as a really big indoor playground. Also, our daughter met Bollo, got her face painted and roasted marshmallows which were all free activities for the kids. So, as far as kids activities this place is perfect.
The cleanliness of the place we stayed in though left much to be desired. The floor looked like it hadn't even been vacuumed, and when I looked undert the couch it was caked in dust and food crumbs, same with under the beds meaning they just don't bother to vacuum under there, which is gross if you're staying in there after other people. I had to go around and vacuum everything before we had even unpacked, not ideal. Also, the restaurant is ridiculously overpriced for what you get, but I guess that's in most Landal parks since you're paying for the convenience.
The indoor pool was nice, but since we were there during absolutely beautiful weather we drove to the Panorama pool just 5 minutes down the road since it was outside and had a big slide.
The actual area is absolutely beautiful with the vineyards, and small towns. Not a lot of children's activities in the area, at least for toddlers but that was not a problem since we spent our time at the Panorama pool and there was lots of activities at the Landal park.
Overall, it was a nice stay and perfect for our daughter, however I don't think I would be back simply due to the fact that the houses just weren't clean enough for my liking.

Loved this park. Service better than most Dutch Landals! Pool is OK, play area is great! Outside play areas are great too. Lovely surroundings, Trier definitely worth a visit.

It is locates in the middle of the wine district. There are loads of options on the park like swimming, indoor playground, many small outdoor playgrounds, midged golf etc. Outside of the park there are many nice things to see like vineyards, old cities and loads of nature. The houses were really clean and well equiped and the staff was very friendly and helpfull

The Cabins are realy nice, clean on arrival and updated. There is however poor WIFI connections. At the pool, you will need coins to store your clothes and such, but there is no availability to get money or change ro smaller at the location.

We stayed in a mobile home and it was just lovely ! For the price for 3 nights, there are a lot of free access activities to do with kids. There is an indoor swimming pool, a huge indoor playground, bowling, a mini bar for the parents that are watching the kids playing.
The mobile home was clean and nicely decorated. It has everything you need to live on your own quietly. There is also a supermarket with everything and more. A restaurant and snack place are also there if you don't want to cook at home.
In the middle of the woods, the views are incredible. You can also feed the deers that are living in nature.
Overall I really recommend this if you need a true in nature experience with lovely views and cozy places.

(Aug 2017) We had the worst house ever, we didn't even fit through the door😂 . (camping houses from 2017, gone now in 2023)
I hope they removed these houses, we got a voucher of 100 euros to spend at another Landal park. The most important thing for me is the accommodation. That's why 2 stars, the rest was cool, the surroundings, the view on the mountain!! 😍
