I’ve been going to this spot for years and I’m always so stoked to have it open up each summer. I rent the paddle boards and the staff are always so lovely and so helpful! They have a good selection of beginner friendly equipment while also having a handful of more advanced board options. If you’re looking to hang out on the beach and maybe get out on the water for a couple hours this is literally the spot you wanna go! Thanks for coming back to kits every year guys!
been coming here consistently for a few months now and this studio is my FAV! all the instructors follow the classic modo but add their own twist to it making each class unique.
I had the joy of meeting and taking class with TRY, and he was absolutely fabulous!!! I hope to see him on the schedule more often:) Thank you Try for a great class!!
Went there for a KAP session not long ago.
The KAP session was amazing by itself, but the studio was freaking hot. I don’t understand why they renting it out if they can’t afford a proper AC !
Everyone was sweating, it wasn’t nice at all.
Kind and thoughtful staff, experienced instructors, challenging classes and an overall welcoming atmosphere. I love this studio! Thanks, Modo East Van!
Been going to Modo since they were Moksha. Always felt good being in this studio. Cant wait to visit again.
Nice and welcoming place for hot yoga. The atmosphere is very inviting. They have changing rooms with lockers and showers and a place to fill up your water bottle. They also have mats and mat towels if you don’t bring your own and they even asked if I needed a water bottle. The hot yoga class itself was a good pace and provided a good stretch.
Hands down, the best yoga studio I've ever experienced. The teachers here are simply amazing. The vibe is so welcoming, and the studio is impeccably clean. I love everything about this place—it's my happy place, and waking up to yoga here sets the perfect tone for my day.
Becca and Katie were super friendly and clear with their instructions to help me kayak for the first time in forever.

Highly recommend coming here if you need a way to get out onto the water and enjoy the views and coast of Vancouver.
Closed early without updates. No call back from my voicemail and no update to their webpage. If you are going to use these guys, call days in advance and make sure they are working. Manpower seems to be the issue.
Vancouver's beaches are truly remarkable and unique. The city is blessed with stunning and natural coastal areas that connect to the calm ocean. Vancouver's beaches offer all the necessary amenities for a relaxing day by the shore, including scenic walking paths, picnic areas, sports fields, and various water activities such as swimming and other water sports. Amidst the vibrancy of the city and its prominent urban setting, Vancouver's beaches provide an excellent opportunity for tranquility and solitude. With breathtaking views, mild weather, and a peaceful atmosphere, Vancouver's beaches have become highly popular destinations for both locals and tourists alike.
Amazing time on seadoo/jet ski, the staff was very polite and helpful. I have to give a special shoutout to Darren for guiding us through the process

I've had such a great time attending Modo classes! I have really enjoyed all the instructors and variety of classes they offer. I am also surprised by how much I appreciate the mat storage they offer with the Freedom membership! Have recommended to many of my friends!

I highly recommend Modo for those who are a bit apprehensive to try hot yoga. The heat is definitely not too intense…kind of like a nice warm hug. The studio is immaculately clean and I appreciate the spacious change rooms with combination lockers, as well as showers and hairdryers if you can’t go home to wash the sweat off right away! Lastly, location is excellent with ample parking underground or on the street :)

I highly recommend Kitsilano Modo Yoga. The facility is conveniently located and thoughtfully laid out. It is scrupulously clean. Between classes the floors are washed. The mats are washed after use. Communication between students and staff are friendly and frequent. The instructors are very good. The modo practice I follow is PERFECT for me. I can see and feel my body responding positively to the hour devoted to paying attention to it. My mind is clear and calm.

It is a wonderful way to start the day.
I have been to many, many yoga studios in different cities and I love Modo. It is small which allows you to get to know the instructors and staff and feels more like a community than a business, which I prefer. I did a trial at two different studios near my apartment before choosing Modo as my yoga home. I love the flexible membership as well as being able to leave my mat there as a member. This makes it so easy to come to classes I have been walking and biking over. The only thing I will say is that sometimes I wish the room could get hotter, but I know this isn't everyone's preference in a group class. Overall I love the studio.
Granite Falls Tour;

An absolutely awesome tour! Simon, our guide was the best too!! Very informative and exciting. I have lived in the lower mainland for over 70 years and I learned a ton about the Indian Arm area. I would recommend this 3 hour tour to everyone.
The yoga studio's commitment to authenticity shines through its real, gritty vibe. The inclusion of hair dryers in the change rooms is a thoughtful touch, enhancing the overall convenience. The studio's dedication to providing a genuine and practical experience makes it a standout choice for those seeking an authentic yoga practice
Had a wonderful evening on the water celebrating a wedding anniversary. Alex our tour guide was fantastic, super friendly and did a phenomenal job captaining the zodiac all the while offering up a history of Vancouver at the same time! We signed up for the Bowen Island dinner which I highly recommend! Dinner at Rustique Bistro was delicious as well!

Great new space - same wonderful instructors. A little bit of zen -
I can't say enough good things about the instructors here at Havyn Yoga. I've been going for over 5 years and am impressed with their energy and support. Want something a bit more intense Flow. Classes range from 45 to 75 mins beginners are welcome. Mat rentals and clean change rooms.
They have weekly deals, the staff are super friendly and helpful and it’s such a great activity for a nice sunny day!
It was my first time to Moksha Hot Yoga, and it makes me sad that I am not a local in the area! The establishment was very clean and the employees were very friendly. The bathroom/locker room was neatly put together and thoughtfully planned out. The hot yoga class we took was a nice challenge with an engaging instructor. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely return to this studio!
