Stopped here on a CT / NY breweries tour with a buddy, but I'm not sure what the hype was about this place, the IPAs are definitely average. We each had one small pour and left. The service was great and the place has a nice atmosphere, but the beers didn't do it for us, granted we are beer snobs and prefer Trillium, Other Half, Evil Twin NYC, etc, but we thought we would try out a new-to-us brewery.

Johnny, Alexandra and the crew are the best and the beer is great. The brewery is really inviting with a casual first floor and a second floor space that has a more upscale vibe.

This has become our local brewery of choice, and our go-to destination when we want to just sit and talk about life over some exceptional beers. The owners are so amazing and welcoming. There’s always something exciting going on at Armada whether it’s a car show, wrestling, comedy show, or craft fair. This establishment does an amazing job of supporting the community. If you like IPA’s, you must stop in. These are by far the best beers!

Alexandra and John are excellent beer guides. My girlfriend got Edge of Darkness, excellent Dark Lager! I ordered the, All My Best Friends are Hopheads. Very well done IIPA!!
Hoax Brewing Company resides in a pizza restaurant - so come hungry. This awesome brewery serves up complementing pints of beer to pair perfectly with the New Haven style pizzas. Hoax brewing offers a wide variety of beers ranging from traditional Italian pilsners to hearty 10% imperial stouts.

Because this is CT, you will obviously need to try a juicy IPA like the Carrier of the Dead; a 6.5% Citra NEIPA. If you’re a fan of sours like me, the Seany Palmer (play on Arnold Palmer) and the Darkside Sour (with hibiscus, passion fruit, orange and guava) will absolutely hit the spot.

Hoax/Da Legna at Nola (restaurant name) have a large and free parking lot, it’s just off of 91 and every pizza we’ve tried these past two years has always been exceptional even by New Haven standards! We highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner if you’re traveling through the area.

This brewery is a hidden gem that offers an incredible experience! Whether you're into board games, movies, or just want to enjoy some good music, this place has it all. The artwork on display is captivating and adds a unique charm to the ambiance.

And let's talk about the beer—there's something to suit every palate, from hoppy IPAs to refreshing ales. Don't let the location deter you; in fact, your visit can help revitalize the area. Show your support and enjoy a fantastic time at this awesome brewery!

The best brewery around in New Haven county beers are ice cold! Owners are delightful to be around; staff is fantastic.
This past weekend, I had an absolute blast at Armada Brewing in New Haven. They were hosting a night market downstairs, which had a ton of great vendors to browse through. The atmosphere in the brewery itself was fantastic – clean, spacious, and with a friendly, welcoming vibe. The staff was top-notch – friendly, courteous, and super helpful, especially when it came to navigating the extensive beer selection.

Speaking of beer, Armada's selection is incredible! Whether you're an IPA lover, a sour enthusiast, or a fan of classic lagers and stouts, they have something for everyone. I highly recommend the ShadowFrost dopplebock – it was delicious!

Parking was a bit of a head-scratcher at first. They have a lot in the back that looks a bit like an empty construction zone, but don't let that deter you. It's well-lit and felt completely safe.

The real star of the show, however, was the upstairs space. It's a private room that's beautifully decorated and spacious enough to hold any kind of event. We saw a drag show there, and it was phenomenal! Inclusive, fantastic, and so much fun – a night I won't soon forget.

I can't wait to head back to Armada Brewing soon. It's the perfect spot for a fun night out with friends, with something for everyone to enjoy!

Excellence in a glass is the best way to describe this brewery. Armada has a wonderful lineup of brews like their well-balanced "Till Death" hibiscus lager, and the super smooth coffee infused "A Tale of Two Kings" golden stout. I highly recommend stopping here for a pint and 4-packs to go 🍻
Sour Diesel is without a doubt one of the best beers I've ever had! The facility (The Beeracks) is great. It was a good place to stop and have some Tasters! Great people and a Great Atmosphere!!! As someone who travels for a living Hoax has quickly become one of my favorite breweries in the country.
Great variety of beers here. Everything from IPAs to stouts and even BD seltzers! Something for everyone and a cute place to hang with friends.

Wow. I love love love these beers. Blue dream stash jar is amazing. Their slight of hand is also wonderful
Hoax is a one of a kind brewery. When it comes to their sour ales, pale ales , or lagers. My personal favorite is their Sad Boi Lager. The Hoax Folks put lots of hard work and care into everything they do. It’s the only beer I drink. If you’re in Connecticut , grab some Hoax!

Best sours in the state. Additionally, they have the best shows. Great production value.
