Couldn't have asked for a more epic trip to Mexico with Top Out Adventures. From the drive down across the border to Monterrey, the steep climbs of Nuevo Leon, and the once in a lifetime opportunity to eat a home cooked meal in the mountains mid-run, it was a memorable trip.

Dave along with local guides, Eric and Mario, made sure we were well cared for every step of the way, from guiding the routes to translating signs and giving their best recommendations for delicious foods to try. Top Out was as good as I could’ve hoped! Knowledgeable guides, great cooks, encouraging…they made it possible to realize my dream of climbing a fourteen Dr in CO. They took care of everything..even picked me up at the Denver airport. The lodgings were fantastic..I went with them a 2nd time to Big Bend Nat’l Park. Doing and seeing things I would never have gotten around to without them. Dave and his crew are the best.

Dave was flexible, understanding & supporting from the infancy of our trip. A change in schedule caused an April trip to occur in October. Challenges like monsoon rain didn’t stop Dave or his outstanding Nepali guide from showing us a wonderful memorable experience. Added value was the many pics he took & introducing us to close friends that share his passion for running.

If you are looking for the adventure of a lifetime I disappeared under his guide. Dave really took the time to answer every question I had - sometimes more than once. Not only did he fully prepare us in advance of our climb, he is prepared with back ups and contingencies when the newbies come less than perfectly prepared. Whether you have been climbing for years or want a family adventure like ours, Top Out Adventures is definitely the way to go!

The folks at Top Out Adventures are amazing!! I decided to run my first 100 miler in Texas. David checked in on me multiple times before the race to see how my training was going. On race day, Top Out Adventures was there by my side to help me get through the highs and lows of the day. At mile 55, I hit my low. David was there right by my side. I was ready to be done, but he kept me going for another 10 miles. I ended up dropping, but the support that was shown went above and beyond. All in all, Top Out Adventure is totally organized and run by wonderful people. I highly recommend any Top Out Adventures trip.

Absolutely stellar service from Dave and Austin. They led us on an incredible hike towards Chasm Lake and taught us a lot on the way about safety, the local environment, and the coolest spots in the country. They’re great guys who I’d trust my life to.
