Beautiful market with loads of local products and foods as well as some Spanish tapas places. Highly recomend to stop by!
Cool market with some absolutely delicious food. Avoid the butcher section and the seafood section if you faint seeing blood. I was in for a shock of how graphic it can get. But hey, it’s a market. I heard most meat was legal in here. Not sure what that exactly means but you should ask. Most folks speak English here. Don’t but the salsa, they will be confiscated at the airport lol.

Mezcal tasting!
We were here on a tour from our cooking class chef. The chef Diana is on airbnb experience and has very in-depth knowledge of this market and seem to know everyone.

We started at a coffee shop where we tried two different kind of coffee, and a concha bread. And then we moved to a vegetable stall where she explained to us the vegetables in mexican cuisine, and after that a fruit stall where we tried a bunch of the exotic fruits which we have never seen before.

The next stall we tried different kinds of dried mole, a mezcal tasting and other ingredients.

Highly recommend coming here with someone who knows this place to get the full experience.
A Mexican inspired market but with a European twist. Incredible food stalls with fresh produce, meats and seafood. You can dine directly from one of the many stalls. Worth a visiting when in the area. There even a Mezcal and Tequila stall where you can do a tasting tour and get a great education on both types of liquors. I will be posting in another review the tour I took along with the incredible seafood experience all from the same local market.
One of my best experiences in Mexico City.

Really high quality food and drink vendors.

You can eat very well here for a fraction of the cost of a restaurant.

Mexican street food at its best.
Schöner kleiner Markt, etwas überteuert da es doch auch einige Touristen hierhin zieht, jedoch sicher einen Besuch wert.
This market has a couple of food stalls, but they focus more on exotic food like bugs, spiders, etc. I didn't try but if it is something you want to try, go here; otherwise, you can skip.
We try chilaquiles at a food stall and it's okay. Chilaquiles is like chips in a lot of salsa with onion, cheese, some type of cream, and protein, in this case beef. It is not too spicy, at least the salsa here. I think it's good because I like the texture of the soaked chips, but don't eat too slow because then it will be too soggy.

This market is a great place to buy all types of fresh foods. I especially noticed a large amount of fresh seafood and other meats also. There is some dining inside. You may also enjoy some tasting experiences of different bugs and insects if you are adventurous. Highly recommend to check this place out if you are in the area.

What a surprise great food lots of rare meats and insects great cold cuts highly recommended
Oh god I you haven’t see anything go there there is a lot of good import cheeses ,wine and of course exotic edibles appetizers animals and fruits
Very nice market with many shops and bars. Its very focused on tourists who want to try some „crazy“ and exotic things, like scorpions dipped in chocolate, or grilled opposum etc. but you can also just get everything else you would expect from a market
A great place, veggies were very fresh and big, (no small garlic cloves for me) . A really great choice in oriental products and meats of all kinds, even highly exotic ones for which this market is well known. And the cheeses and sausages are wonderful, Spanish serrano ham, European dried salami and delicious cheeses of all kinds. The bread (baguettes, artisinal bread, etc.) sold here is equally good. We've been back twice and discover more each time.

Cool food market with lots of options and restaurants to try. We had some fresh seafood at El Capricho which was nice. Recommend the tostadas and aguachiles. The fish ceviche was also a nice gift from the guys. We ordered sashimi as well but it was extremely thin slices and not good value. I would go back for the other plates though!
Huge market where you can shop fruits, vegetables, spices, cheese and meat
It's a local market so the prices are really good and affordable
Cheaper than all supermarkets
We also tried several types of chili from one of the local vendors
It’s a place to get gourmet produce and meal. I went here because my chef brought me and I didn’t know at first you could eat insects and scorpions inside. It’s a good experience to try in Mexico City.
