There is cooler with pre wrapped chicken and on sale meats to "pick up and go" without having to wait in line to order meat selection. Easy access in and out for those who may require assistance or use a small walker/wheelchair.

I think they can be very pricey on many things, so it's good to be selective. That means looking for sales. Very good for some gourmet items. Also the employees are nice and professional. Their mission of good customer service is a plus for me.

I don't like to shop at these fancy overpriced food stores. But, I went in with my wife. I browsed the fresh fruits looking for Italian plums to use for winemaking. They did not have any, just the same fruit I can buy from every other grocery in Lexington. I thought about getting some filtered water. Yet their water filling station was not working.
A superb high end, gourmet grocery store! My family sent me to pick up some Priscilla chicken pot pies because apparently they are just delicious. When I went, there were only six left so I bought them. The freshest of meats, vegetables just a beautiful grocery store. If I lived here, I would be shopping here exclusively.
FRESH MARKET is my new favorite store! I'm new to the area, never having been fortunate to have a Fresh Market near me previously. I am hard-pressed to choose which store department is my favorite, as there are so many awesome choices throughout the store. I'm finding foods I never even knew existed, and having many food allergies, it's fantastic having so many products available.

Went here to return an Amazon package. The lady was somewhat helpful but seemed hurried and it wasn't busy. My return never made it back to Amazon. I didn't know how to use the do it yourself return container but apparently she didn't either.

I enjoyed todays first grocery shopping at Co OpLexington KY. Great variety of Local products here. Being Vegan, I look for healthy food without compromise. (I used to shop at Whole Foods before ). At Co Op I found almost everything I needed. Staff is very friendly and uncomplicated. I spend almost
$ 340. I would’ve signed up for a membership.
At the checkout I over heard that chicken meat is produced by Amish ppl. Because I know how miserable Certain Amish ppl treat their working horses and other ppl rescue these poor Horses from kill pens, I will not sign up for a membership now, until I find out more.! As a Vegan it’s my duty to stand up for Animal welfare. But I will definitely come again for my next grocery shopping and bring my daughter along for her grocery shopping.

I love shopping here. Everything is so fresh and vibrant and exciting and delicious. The baked goods are delectable, and the salad bar and hot foods are innovative and yummy. Expensive, but good for a treat.

A Vibrant Shopping Experience with Stellar Salad Bar and Irresistible Pizza...I recently stepped into Whole Foods, a store I don't usually visit, and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The trendy vibe and upbeat atmosphere immediately caught my attention, creating a positive and enjoyable shopping environment. The store's modern layout and well-curated displays made it easy to navigate and find what I needed.

One highlight of my visit was the remarkable salad and lunch bar. The array of fresh ingredients and diverse toppings impressed me, allowing me to create a personalized salad to my liking. The quality and freshness of the produce were outstanding, and the variety of dressings added a delightful burst of flavor. It's a perfect option for those seeking a healthy and delicious meal.

Although the sushi at Whole Foods didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of taste and freshness, I appreciated the effort to provide such a choice. However, where Whole Foods truly excelled was in their pizza offerings. The pizza surpassed my expectations with its fantastic flavors, thin and crispy crust, and generous toppings. It became an instant favorite, and I found myself craving more even after leaving the store.

In conclusion, Whole Foods offers a vibrant and trendy shopping experience that is sure to leave a positive impression. The stellar salad bar is a haven for health-conscious individuals, offering fresh ingredients and a wide range of options. While the sushi fell short, the delicious pizza more than made up for it, making Whole Foods a worthwhile destination for pizza lovers. I highly recommend giving Whole Foods a visit to experience its fantastic salad bar and irresistible pizza firsthand.

I deleted my rather bad reviews over the past several months until 8/20. Reason is that I can see a positiv change in all departments and have nothing to complain. Amazing!!
Today, 9/3, they got at least one associate on the floor who is busy cleaning, the coffee bar was well supplied with everything one could want and the sale items rang up correctly upon check-out. The biggest change, and I hope this is not just bc of the days I randomly picked, they seem to have hired new employees who are more fitting to a high end store like the Fresh Market.
Now if the employees would feel happy to work here bc leadership loves them, as they should, that would be marvelous!! That feeling would get transported to the customers who in turn would feel welcomed and might even shop more!
The employees deserve all the praise they can get. Afterall, they are the face of this store and I am beyond thankful to them for working. Onward!

Poorly maintained salad bar and hot buffet section. Employees walking around aimlessly, not stocking or replenishing. Manager of this store needs to be replaced.

Great atmosphere, people are incredibly nice, the outside is well kept, and great pricing for coffee. It's a 5 star cafe 100%. I usually have high anxiety levels at grocery stores and this one I could walk in there comfortably.... I'm now hooked on Good Foods and their Americana 20 oz coffee with Almond Milk and Toffee Nut....
Mmmm.... Conversations w the patrons is great. Top three of my most favorite place I've ever rated. Great date spot as well.
Amazing place to find local ingredients. Plenty of vegan, vegetarian and organic options. Delicious cafe to grab a bite. Prices could be a bit lower.

Good stuff. I like whole foods a lot. Decent sized organic celery, but has gone down in size lately for the price. Good selection of organic dates. Best place to get organic frozen wild blueberries, if you're into that kind of thing. 365 organic quick cook steel-cut oats are also key. So definitely some nuanced items that you can't find at very many other places. Cannot find dulse, Atlantic or any kind, at Whole Foods though. Have to go to Good Foods Co-op for that.

Clean + no stock holes but some products they used to have are not available now maybe distributor decision staff said. Very helpful & friendly staff. Lots of KY PROUD products growed rite cheer & organic u cant get anywhere else. Carefully sourced herbal food supplements nobody else offers. Bunches of people eats at they cafe. JournalKentucky d o t com rated it best local grocery once ... still is.
First time here or in any Fresh Market. Color me impressed! It's kind of like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods had a baby lol

The interior has what I would call a rustic bougie vibe, and everything is super fresh and vibrant. Prices aren't as high as I expected, and they have really great deals on their member specials and sale items. Excellent selection of fresh produce and meats, and we watched their fresh sushi being made—I wish I'd taken a picture of that, bc it's Instagram-worthy. I can't explain how much fresher and better it looks than the vast majority of the sushi I've ever eaten (check my reviews, I eat sushi every chance I get lol). And speaking of sushi, they have sushi-grade tuna which is so hard to find! Super friendly and helpful employees too. I'll definitely be back!

P.S. I almost forgot! They have a ridiculous selection of mushrooms (fresh as well as dried), including lion's mane, oyster, King trumpet, maitake, etc.! I picked up a 'chef's blend' and sauteed them to have with our supper. They were DELICIOUS.

$9.99 / lb at the salad bar is a great deal.

There are probably at least two dozen cold trays holding a variety of fruits, veggies, protein and starches to help customize your salad to your hearts desire.

If you’re like me and aren’t familiar with the salad dressing options, just politely ask a team member behind the counter if you can sample the dressings. They may oblige by giving you some small sample cups and a sample spoon to try them.

The salad bar was clean and the food looked fresh.
So let’s do our part to keep it that way.

Be aware, there is hand sanitizer and disposable gloves available near the containers.

Please be considerate and practice proper sanitation in order to reduce the risk of contaminating the food.

Aside from that, hope you build a healthy, delicious, and pretty salad.
Nice market with a good variety. A bit higher than other stores but a great concept for supporting local growers, etc. Lots of bulk options and they have a nice lunch counter and salad bar.
I do not recommend buying dairy products. For twenty minutes shopping in the store in this area the dairy products were in the aisle without a refrigerator as you can see in the photo. The stock was just laying there. I felt the yogurt and it was no longer cold. This means that you have a great chance to buy a spoiled product.
The Honey Bee Latte is incredible at the cafe. The people at the Co-Op are very nice and helpful. A solid choice for people who value ethically raised food and quality alternatives to commercial food and nutritional products.
Very clean store, easy lay so items found easily. Staff friendly, customer service is excellent, produce, meat fresh. Easy check out.
