Please please please don’t even buy cooked food from Asian food centre westmore. They may have old chicken or old tadka or anything like that. I got butter chicken from them nd just about half an hour after eating I started feeling something wrong in my sore throat. Nd right after 3-4 hrs I started feeling infection in my sore throat. Now it infected my whole body. I got fever and all. Please don’t order food from them. They are really bad in cooked food.
Ordered samosa, 3 pineapple pastries and 1lb of gulan jamun. Samosas are stale and cold as if they were kept in the fridge. Pasteries as if they were there on the tray for a long time. Gulab jamun are hard, too sweet. Moment I came out of the store and checked the order in my car, I wanted to go back and throw it out at their desk. But that wont make any difference. So better garbaged it. Choose wisely.
This place is a rip-off. I bought grapes which were less then half pound. The lady at the cash put a code in, which was for a bag 1.3lb. I told her that the grapes are less then half pound. She talked to other worker in different language but didn't corrected the price. The grapes were to offered to god in prayers, so decided not to argue but leave. The staff is very unprofessional. They should hire people who can communicate in English. I would have given zero if it was possible.
I get my Burro bananas, fresh coconut, mangoes and baby bananas from this Sri Lankan supermarket. Cheaper then many other supermarkets, and some stuff you just can’t find at other stores like Burro bananas.
The fish quality is declining. The kingfish quality is bad. There is no texture to it and the taste is not good as sea fish. They bring farm cultured kingfish.
Went in to buy our supply at the meat section. There were 4 people behind the counter. I asked for help twice. One guy glanced at me but never said anything. Patiently waited and asked again for the 3rd time and just completely ignored. There were no other customers just me. 8 minutes of waiting and no acknowledgment is completely rude. Why take the job if they hate it so much. Makes me wonder now if the meat is even safe to eat if the ones handling it hate customers that much. I left and went the one on Kipling instead. Way cheaper and better service.

Quality of food is very good, fresh and authentic. They keep the place relatively clean. But they have room for improvement when it comes to customer service. Remember it's necessary to be able to speak english in an english speaking country even if the place you're working for caters to an ethnic minority.
It's been 20 years, we are shopping feom AFC, but the new staff is giving ripped bags to the customers. SONIKA / Manager have to take care of this. Customers are always right and they should treated them well with greetings.

This grocery store has it all. It has international foods, chicken for as low as $1 for those on a budget.lots of fruit and vegetables plus the meat is a little more affordable for me. They have everything at affordable and very competitive prices.
You can find everything you get in South India. However, I'm a little concerned with the quality of products in this store. I purchased a packet of Uthaya's Channa dal only to find out that it had insects/flies (alive) inside. Unfortunately I lost the bill. went back to the store with a food safety concern, but the store lady kept saying 'no bill no change'. Seemed to not care about the selling bad quality products. I would give zero stars if possible.

I've been here a few times - not by choice but primarily because of convenience.
This place has a good variety of food products, prices are decent, the place is clean BUT the big issue here, in my opinion, is that the service level is terrible. The cashiers are miserable, always wearing scowels, - never a hello or thank you, what to speak of 'please come again'

One full bag of 10lb has 18 onions in it not good for consumption and they are having bad smell. This people need to take into consideration this because if someone wont say they might be not knowing it .

Always tidy grocery store, went there for my kimchi craving! They also have a hot table/takeout at reasonable prices. They take all payment types which is fantastic

First time there, went specifically for the Chinese take out.
They had so much variety the food was amazing.
It was packed with flavour, fresh and not greasy.
I would high recommend based on; experience,, food, taste and money spent.
I got everything seen in the pic for $10 plus tax.
Also the staff was really nice and pleasant.
I will definitely be returning 👍🏽

Variety of products. Some products are more expensive than other Indian stores. They also have mini stall inside for puff, samosa, chat etc and during summer they also have ice gola stall outside 🍧🍧🍧
This is a must place to visit in Toronto Suburbs. We went for outdoors Baraf/Ice Gola. It made us feel like we were in India. Amazingly done and amazing experience.

The swad restaurant owned by fresh Choice Indian supermarket is amazing. They brought in live ice Golas and ice dishes this summer and response of people in Etobicoke is outrageous. You gotta wait nearly 15-20 minutes on sundays. It’s worth a wait🤞🏻🤌🏻
Very clean place! They're very good at keeping their produce fresh. A little pricey when comparing to the other yellow signed store but you're paying for the better quality and customer service.

Just did grocery today, sunday around 7:30pm. Bought Aam papad, I reached at home and opened it, Expiry date is marked as Dec 2025 on the box but actually it is expired and fungus in there. Posting pictures with reciept.
Good place to buy Indian groceries. Very reasonable price. Buy all kind of popular Indian products like Dabur Cadbury Mangoes pressure cooker aam papar
Asian supermaket. Love their seafood section. The guy who works there is very friendly and understands our needs. 5 stars for this! Super clean and neatly maintained. Have a variety of products of products. Billing is super fast! ample parking!
Very messy store. It’s a large store not sure why the store is the way it is. Variety of Indian and Sri Lankan grocery items . They have good selection of sea food items at reasonable prices compared to other stores. Veggie used to be more fresh it’s lacking now days

So happy that they have opened this supermarket at this location. Kudos to the owners for taking time to open up a grocery that is clean, has a variety of items and you can see that they are hard workers. It's so convenient for people in the area to get all their traditional groceries from India and for anyone really. Lastly and most importantly is the little grill they have in the back. You can get delicious snacks, burgers etc. The head chef is a hard worker and him and his staff take their time time when making the food and ensure customers are satisfied. Yum yum

Everyone since takes long just to make one dahi puri, I always say no spice and it ends up being spicy waste of my money, they can barely understand me what I'm saying or asking because of language issue. Very dissapointing this change. Guy can't even put the yogurt properly. Again only complaint is change with kitchen staff rest of the store is great. Some fresh product items haven't been the best.
You know so many times I say not spicy and you guys still make it spicy. I spend 20 bucks on three containers all for it to not be enjoyable for myself and my kids. Grocery store is very well maintained. The staff and owners are super friendly and helpful. The chef dhruvin provides delicious Indian street food. Their dalwada, dabeli and dahipuri are must try dishes.
This is one of our favorite grocery stores to shop in when visiting Toronto! They are huge, International and well-stocked with very good prices. The staff there are always helpful, even the nice man who didn’t speak English was so good about taking us to find products we asked for. Always stock up when I go there and look forward to it.
