So happy that I found them. Quality is excellent and prices are very reasonable. Our latest favourite is their Pani Pori appalam. Highly recommend them.
Good convenient grocery store. Has all the typical south Asian cuisine. Eraa Supermarket presents a contemporary and inviting shopping environment, located in a bustling area. The store's well-lit and organized interior caters to diverse customer preferences, offering a comprehensive selection of groceries, from fresh produce to international and specialty items. Commitment to quality is evident in the freshness of their produce, and the staff's approachable nature enhances the overall shopping experience. Eraa Supermarket strikes a balance between competitive pricing and regular promotions, ensuring affordability without compromising on quality. With inclusivity in mind, the store stocks products from various cultures, making it a convenient and customer-friendly choice for a broad range of shoppers.

All sorts of Indian items are available here at a reasonable price.
I have purchased ready to eat Samosa on Dec 31st. The next day me and my friend both got sick. Please be careful with ready to eat products.
at the cash, no greetings, no hi whatsoever. it's like bunch of robots working there.i wanted to pay with visa gift card because i previously paid off with that card, cashier said no no no. i told her it will work , she rejected , then i said ok with visa, then i used the gift card and approved. when i told her i paid with visa gift card. she was so upset and called me "crazy" why i changed the card. I said it's paid in full and approved, what is your problem. they grabbed my card and checking it with receipt, and tried to keep us there waiting. that time i lost it and grabbed my card and receipt and left. bunch of stone headed robots with no knowledge and no regret.
Very bad experience I bought for $160 yesterday the country chickens and the roster.very bad smile it's not worth it what I paid for. I can't eat. Be fair what do you sale. When you die what do you gonna bring. Lot of millions, I don't think so. Be fair. Do you know how hard to earn $160 these days. Be fair and don't cheat the people. It's not gonna stay for ever.

Had the displeasure of shopping here. I walked in for ground provisions and salted cod, which Asian grocery stores stock in abundance.

Was stared at continuously like I was going to steal. Stopped outside the grocery store to show my receipt.

Basically they do not want people of colour shopping here. They think we are all thieves - and I have never stolen a thing my entire life. The way they have made me feel I don’t want others of colour to feel that way.

Horrible, racist grocery store! Poor management who follows you around the store. All I went for was casava, sweet potato, yam, and Saltfish. But had to stared at and followed around.

Maybe they are so flourished that once they asked me to climb up the ladder and get the stuff which I was looking for. Nevermind dadaji was busy doing some stuff and he wanted me to do some self serve. But I can't believe that climbing up to their inventory and grabbing things seems a task

Ot ok price place but I find out that there meat do not look all that fresh also there producesseem also now all that fresh sometimes.. I guess that due to changes in the country it is hard to get fresh produces and meat...the liberal is killing our country and economy... soon I think our country ranking will be on par with all the third world countries.. how sad canada was one of the best country to live in but now it's the country to stay away from.... health care is really drop down to poor health programs and offers... no family doctor not a walk in family doctor practice...there seem to really lacking of it...

Since the renovation, this supermarket has been a big letdown. They usually don't have stocks of anything, selling expired items, and not-so-fresh fruits and veggies are a bummer. Plus, the customer service was bad. Hoping for an improvement soon as the only other nearby store shut down.

The store has many Sri Lankan products, and it seems like they are running out of space.

I bought "mOr milagai" (South Indian salted dried chili) that their store brand (Eraa), but it was horrible! Not only was there no salt in it, but the taste was bad too -- way too spicy to an extent that my tongue was damaged. I'd never buy this store brand ever again.

Other products are fairly good. I see that they are packaging vegetables now, which I didn't like because of packaging material waste. This is not environmentally conscious. And I cannot buy smaller quantities than the package size.

Their parking lot needs to be repaired -- paving is so bad that it reminds me of cash strapped Toronto government. Isn't Eraa making enough money to pave their parking lot?

mold growing on unopened spice. Supposed to expire in December 2025. It was left in the same area as all the rest of the spices in the house, yet only the one from Eraa is growing mold. Will stay away from making purchases from the Eraa name brand items.

ERAA Supermarket is a South Asian supermarket based in Scarborough, it caters towards the Srilankan community. Lot of items are available here ranging from fruits and vegetables, fish, masalas, snacks, pickles, etc etc. The parking lot is huge too. On the negatives, the staff here I find are not so cordial and happen to make fun of me if I happen to wear mask, I did not appreciate that. The prices of certain items are way higher than the worth of it, and sometimes can be found cheap in another store. Overall, a good place to shop, and for sure gives me nostalgic vibes of South Indian stores.
This is worst grocery store I have ever been. All are expired rotten products they are selling in high prices. I have bought 8 products. I had to thrown all fishes, fruits & vegetables. This is shameful & dishonest. The store should close or freeze immediately.

Lot of things, fresh vegetables and indian major (srilankan & Tamil foods) fish and meat can be bought. Just be sure about the expiry date regarding imported goods except that the staff is very friendly and you can find a lot of variety in the grocery.

I normally dont do reviews, but the customer experience @Eraa is really pathetic. The cashier girl was very rude, indecent, and people working there didn't care about their customers, nor do they help them with their inquiries. Yall need to learn some real customer service. Treat your customers with respect, or else they won't be coming back!
Not a good experience. First of all, they put the wrong price on their items. You will be shocked at the cashier because the price is double from what is showing on the shelves. Second, they dont speak English, you have to repeat yourself over and over plus you won't know what they were talking about since they are talking in their own language while giving you a nasty stare. I will for sure not come back in this place and will not recommend it to my family and friends. If only there is an option to give them 0 star, i will do it in a heartbeat.

I recently went to this place for buying chicken and they said there is rooster which is only for $10 and I fell for the trick. And that was good for 3 time cooking . I was really happy . When I cooked the rooster it had really bad smell it was tasting like some kind of chemical. Don’t ever purchase the rooster or any meat from there . Looks like they are using preservatives for expanding the meat’s lifespan. I thought out all of it🤮🤮🤮Huge disappointment . Never going there again to buy meat

Rotting produce, expired product on shelves, and cashiers up charging and changing the price at will, or labeling wrong on the shelves and removing the tags when “checking the price” for customers when they complain. The downfall of this grocery store is awful and it’s only getting worse.

I went to this store second time, the first experience was not bad but second one was horrible. To be honest,I went there to buy meat with my friend and the meat section was about to close but it was not the time to close and I asked for the meat politely but the staffs were so rude. I didn’t want to argue because I know that everyone has pressure and frustration during the job. One guy gave me meat and thanking him I went to checkout and during checkout I just asked her as it was srilankan store and she was from srilanka but she said why do you need?in rude voice. I don’t know if I got this behaviour because I am a Asian and a normal people or these staffs doesn’t have proper knowledge about customer service. I felt so bad that these people are decreasing reputation of this store and this is my last time going here. One thing I want to suggest them is learn some customer service and little manner. Respect everyone!!

Meat section was not fair or honest with the price. They have not displayed the price list about the meat matters. The same meats has been selling different prices with different people. They have not provided equal customer services
Please ask the price before purchasing the meats. Also you should check the weight of meat
This grocery store in the Birchmount Plaza is in a sorry state. Prices are cheaper, but the quality of the products is horrible. Many of the products are either expired or rotten. The shelves are also mostly empty and disorganized. Overall, cleanliness is also very bad. It smells and is very unpleasant.

Bought frozen waxy corn, boiled it after I got home, took a bite and it was rotten. Probably expired a year ago in the freezer. Do not trust anything in this store to be fresh. If you can't find an expiry date label on the product then do not buy it.

This place looks like it's going out of business, around a third of the shelves are empty. And the items are 10-20% more costly than any regular grocery store. Checkout staff wasn't aware of sale prices. Don't bother with this sad sack store.

Big thank you to owner of store Mr Murtaza have a big heart & spread smile melts once heart.
This one of the best Pakistani store in Toronto you can find almost everything.
All types of groceries,Top of the line fresh Halal Meat & other Halal products.
The meat section is clean and very efficient. The meat section staff are very polite and respect customers.
Our family was going here for years & we continue to go as well.
All of the Fresh On the Go products have been extremely good in quality. We never felt a compromise in their hygiene in packing and quality of items. Big fan of their flours. Also, the boondi laddu is exceptionally delicious and remarkable packing for that fresh feel. Also undoubtedly the best customer service. Much appreciated.
Shop is big but items are limited. Many racks are empty. Not worthy to visit.

The store is located in finch and is easily accessible. They have a number of Indian grocery products. The downside is that the stock seems to be very old. Some of the things are expired too. Please be careful when you choose.
Freshonthego has been my go to place for Indian groceries . Being a South Indian I am finicky about few rice and dal varieties and I always order from them and have never been disappointed. Another product that I completely rely on them is sathu maavu(multigrain beverage) .. all of us have that everyday and I am so glad I get the home made quality away from home. They have great customer support as well and very approachable . I highly recommend them for quality , convenience (home delivery) and customer service
Freshonthego grocery is a boon to people like me who crave for authentic south Indian items. It's been my go to online grocery stores for all my staples for nearly 2 years now. I am super happy with them, be it their quality, price, delivery etc. Would definitely recommend for all authentic Indian/south Indian groceries. Happy shopping!
Shopping groceries from Freshonthego has been hassle free and awesome experience especially during the pandemic where I never had to step out of my home but got all my groceries delivered at my door step in one click. The quality is top notch and very friendly customer support.
Have been a regular customer for Fresh on the go grocery. Their chekku oil, millets, millet noodles, palm jaggery and sugar are the best. Other stuffs are equally good. Amazing quality and service.

Great place to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables. Clean and quick service. The store is well stocked and priced fairly. Seasonal tropical fruits like guava, papaya, rambutan are available too. Although this is a store aimed to cater to Chinese ethnicity, it is stocked with Indian spices, lentils, ghee, oils. The store is impeccably clean and the staff are helpful. Fresh fish and seafood is available too. The staff at the counter need to be a little more professional and slower.
I bought a miswak but when I went there and ask the owner/manager about other brands, he replied, in a very rude way and on the top of that he scolded the cashier for not adding the tax in a very bad way. Terrible customer service in the Scarborough.

It was very disappointing to see this from Eraa market, I went to buy a product Pankaja Kasthuri breath easy and I was shocked to see there was no MFG date and EXPIRY date to the product and when I look keener I saw everything was purposely erased and you can see a water mark stating MFG as 04/2020 and EXPIRY as 04/2022 which by means already expired 4 months ago.

These are the products used by lung disorder patients , asthmatic and seeing such strategy from such a big store is very disappointing.

When I asked them, they were least bothered about it.

I would request the shop to move such items out of the store and respect wellbeing.

Thank you.
Best Sri Lankan / Indian Supermarket in GTA. All products are top quality and owners treat you like family. Whatever you need they will go over and above to find it for you. Highly recommended!
The new owners have completely changed the vibe of this place. There is more variety and fresh produce available daily.

The short eats on the side is a big bonus after a big grocery haul!

Fantastic customer service, clean and well organized grocery store. One stop shop to make all the fine Sri Lankan and Indian foods.
My go-to grocers for all South Indian grocery . I am buying the
products from them for the past four years .They have great selection of products including most items that we used to get back home .All their SV home-made products are of excellent quality at an affordable price.
They provide wonderful service and satisfied experience every time .
Fresh on the go is my favorite store and you will feel home for sure after using the products. Their cold pressed oils are top notch and you will not get this quality anywhere in Ontario. I always get most of the products from them though I live far away from the store, Thanks to their delivery service. I would definitely recommend this store if you are looking for any indian products.

horrible grocery store...please someone complain to Toronto/ontario food quality department. Many vegetables are rotten, even bad veg and foods put in sale. Before it is managed and good but now all the changes very bad. Meat section also very bad and health hazard. Surprise to see this kind of grocery in toronto, canada. Govt. couldnot see this kind of health hazard situation.
Good parking space available. It is not easy to find this place as it is a little inside from the main road. grocery section is decent. However most of their items is their own brand. Meat is good. They also have a takeout section which is good.

Chinese style grocery. Lots of Asian and Caribbean produce and goods.

They are very crowded and busy. Large mix of patrons but majority are Asian descent. Staff communication is difficult as most don't speak English.
There is a food counter with selected items combined into meals for purchase.

Produce is usually fresh.

The seafood section is quite varied, lobster, shrimp, shellfish & a wide range of fresh and ocean fish.

However, the fish stink from the back of the store hits the shopper as they walk into the store.. needs separator like other branches.
