This place is not perfect. Lots of people, including my family, have almost gotten scammed because of the manager not being transparent about the price of an item, which is a bag of chips [Casava Chips]. No other shop puts Tax on chips except this Shop.The manager put tax on the item a few days ago when it's on sale. Also, the manager has an anger issue and doesn't know how to talk to customers politely. they started taxing Chips out of no reason since, for the last few months, they haven't taxed this item until a few weeks ago. 😤😠😡
I tried to call 6 times their phone number listed in the contact list in their google business contact, but no use. No one answer. There are no option to leave message.

Good produce and indian grocery. New south Indian/Tamil takeaway food options that need some work on quality of food, freshness and price. One stop in terms of god/puja options/deities and utensils and cookware like pressure cooker Indian style steam cooker.
I discovered this Filipino supermarket located in Scarborough and decided to explore their small fast food area. I opted for a meal that included two main course selections, rice, and a bottled water, all for a reasonable price of $14.00. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful taste of the food. While it wasn't a fine dining experience, my expectations were met, considering the casual setting. Additionally, I noticed that they offer live lobsters and crabs at prices slightly more affordable than those found in Chinese supermarkets. Overall, my visit was worthwhile for a quick and satisfying meal.
Decently priced produce. Good hours of operation. Went here for the 1st time because Charley's was close on a Sunday at 5 and they had everything I needed. Check out was fast.
Good store to shop Indian and Srilankan groceries, spices, vegetables and fruits. Well stocked. Clean and organized. Courteous staff. Quick and efficient service. They even have a points card which accumulates points to redeem later. There is enough parking although it gets crowded on the weekends.

First time there and NEVER COMING BACK needed roses for my wife birthday got them bought $80 worth of lottery tickets and she said CASH ONLY REALLY WOW TOTAL CAME OUT TO $98.05 she asked me if I had .5 cents I said no sorry and she hands me over $1.95 back REALLY for .5 cent REALLY. ……….hope you enjoy seeing me for the last time

One of our regular grocery shopping destinations given its proximity to residential areas and many eateries. Fresh and varied produce selection plus meat and seafood at reasonable prices. We particularly buy the hot food which gets discounted later in the day. This place offers online shopping which we have yet to try, but it's quite popular so the product selection must be quite varied!
Foody is great and cleaning. I love its bakery, fruit, vegetable, cooked food. It packs meat in about 10-12$ value in a single pack so a bit inconvenient for single person (Nofrill normally packs smaller about 5$/pack), however you can ask employee here to weight specifically. Overall is good.
Always have more than enough cashiers on duty.

I have been to this store twice when metro was on strike and let me tell you, I was met with weirdness I would honestly chalk up to racism each time ( I am a white male) . My first visit I went to the hot table and was looking what to have. The couple ahead of me ordered the general Tao’s chicken and it looked really good, so I ordered it. The couple in front of me (Asian) received a heaping portion to where the lid could barely close. I watch as mine is fished into the container and I literally receive maybe half of that. I ask the person serving me is there a larger size like the couple got in front of me. They say no, but that they were regulars so they get more. I was completely dumbfounded and lost for words. The food was good but not as good as it looked. The second time I was in the store I went to play a proline ticket at the lottery terminal. After waiting a few minutes the girl working finally acknowledged my existence and before she even lets me scan my ticket she says cash only. I said no problem I have cash. She then asks to see the cash before she allows me to scan my ticket. It was a 5 dollar ticket! I kinda shrugged it off but after I got my ticket I hung around at the front of the store to see someone else get their tickets. Shockingly no nonsense like that when the Asian customer who got their tickets next went through her. This is all I have to say on this subject, but you really aren’t welcome if you’re a Caucasian .
Disappointed with the box of brown sugar boba ice cream bar. The bars melted before, so the bar slid off the stick and we got a mess instead. How do we know how long this box was out of the fridge before being placed in the fridge? Did you have a power outage and not check your products? How does Foody World ensure their frozen products are in good condition and does not sell items like this? I would never buy ice cream products from there again.

That comment made the girl and the people waiting on the line feel uncomfortable.

They fulfill a lot of online grocery orders.
Parking lot is quite busy, be mindful of pedestrians when reversing out of the parking spot.

A hidden gem! Fusion Supermarket's friendly staff and well-organized layout always make my shopping experience enjoyable. Their diverse selection of spices and imported goods is a food lover's dream.
The meat slices are quite large, but we only need a small amount. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the same product in the pre-packaged fridge section. This led us to the deli section, where all the meat was pre-packaged in similar amounts. We weren't given the option to choose how many pounds of meat we wanted; instead, they asked us to pick from what was available and packed it in a plastic bag. This process wasn't very helpful for our needs.
This place is bad! I had a hard time walking through the store cause there was a bad smell lingering. The produce was a fail. I needed lemons 🍋, apples 🍎, oranges 🍊 and mangos 🥭 but the condition for regular priced items was so poor. In the fresh seafood section, I am unsure why each fish is bagged individually? This store needs to improve on food safety and transparency!
Pretty clean place and well stocked. Have google translate ready. It will really help cut out some of the general rudeness that is normally exhibited in Chinese businesses. Lots of times it is not a language barrier but the contorted faces that speak!

I'm consistently impressed with their wide variety of products. The aisles are well-organized, making it easy to find what I need. The fresh produce section is always stocked with high-quality fruits and vegetables, and their meat and seafood selection is excellent as well.
Their seafood staff are really pleasant for my girlfriend to talk to and Fusion offers many fruits that I cannot expect at other local supermarkets. I totally agree with their bag policy and having security on hand. This area has some horrible patrons. Notice that other nearby stores employ similar security measures because of the high theft that comes with being in such a neighborhood. I am a local resident and have witnessed theft and theft being caught. It's sad to say about the neighborhood but the neighborhood in general is a ghetto area.

Huge variety of Chinese and Japanese products. Prices are good too and they open until 12 midnight.
Love shopping at this particular Asian grocery store because of it's cleanliness and variety of products available. Only downside to this place is the pre-made food at the counter which I found wasn't very good. Staff there is also not very friendly and seems to like shouting at customers rudely which I did not appreciate. Most of the cashiers do not interact with customers with the basic "hi" and "thank you" which I did not like. Wished they would up their customer service just a little bit so that I can give them 5 stars.

I don't live in the neighborhood however I put in the practice to go shopping weekly. Place is clean n tidy, produces are fresh n label with place of origin, well organized shelving of prodcts n lots of choices. The cooked food are superb in both prices n quality. Thanks to all employees for their hard work and certainly 1 or 2 employees are of a little bit grumpy.

Our regular place to get fresh vegetables and fruits. Unlike other Chinese supermarkets, this one does not sell freshly cooked food. Their fresh meat and seafood section seem popular. Location is easy to reach by bus 43 from Kennedy station.

Very big supermarket that has all the ingredients you need. I got their end of the day sushi tray for $16.99 from $19.99 and it was ok. Probably wouldn't get it again, but I'd be interested in trying their hot table foods.

Very disappointed, I purchased two cooking pot from these guys on June 14th and these pots are leaving scratch marks on my induction stove. I returned to the store back in a week to exchange these product and these guys gave me a excuse that these pots were washed so they won’t return or exchanged the product. Great selection of products and well organized and clean store. Neat and well maintained aisles and entrances. Fresh produces meat and diary etc are well organized and worth the prize. Though my visit was little late in the evening quite a few racks and freezers were empty. It could be of the day or timing but couldn’t find or ran out of a few things I was actually planning to buy. Price is good and affordable for most of the things.
Most patrons come here to purchase fruits. Not the highest quality fruits, but they have great variety. Our family is not fan of their meat, vegetables, hot food table, bakery, sushi department items as we feel the quality is not the best. Great place for buy Indian grocery. Reasonable rate compared to other grocery store. Bhaveshbhai and Vinodbhai very kind and super friendly. Always give you hand to find an item.
Spacious and clean grocery with mostly south Asian and Bangladeshi items. There is a snacks corner as well. You would find halal meats, fishes and vegetables of good quality
The poorest spice land ever ever I went specially customer appearance is “nil” . Just now I camed from there and I talked in Tamil the lady who works in the cashier also Tamil she replied in English.and i again talked in Tamil eg: how much is this etc…. One of the finest south Asian grocery shop in Scarborough zone.I tends to go there from Downtown Toronto.And believe me it's totally worth. Heritage for Halal meat . Anyone concerning about clean fish should go to this store.Very clean shop with great deal all week and nice staffs all around.

Comparing to all other Chinese supermarkets that I have been this place is definitely overpriced. Also, they are selling Pikes as Pickerel and Rock Bass as Crappies
They have a peculiar taste of ongoing festivals and there categories are always updated. One of the best corner shops and hidden gems for Indian groceries and festivities affiliated things.
As a customer, I believe that it is important to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. However, during my visit to this store, I was carrying a similar red cart to their carts and she was telling me that those carts was for them until I showed her that there was a name on my cart. This behaviour is not acceptable repeatedly.

It's a fun store to wander around in. Lots of 'Big Sale' signs. Whole frozen chickens for $5. Two for $9. Great deal. Produce looked good. Fresh fish, too. Yams were the best price I've seen in months.

Great place for indian grocery. Bhaveshbhai(Owner)is real gem to deal with. I would suggest everyone to visit this place as their prices are best in town as well as they never let you down in their products and customer service.

It’s clean and spacious with multiple items sale here. Well, i dropped by earlier today and bought this rice noodle with beef. I was speechless that around 1/3 of dish is onion, chopped into big pieces. Maybe it was not the lunch time yet, chef just randomly cooked this dish, and wanted to get rid of leftover onion first, besides some noodles just stuck together:(((

Entering this grocery store is a bit like traveling to Asia. So different from other grocery stores with special products. Good prices. I loved it.

One of the biggest Asian grocery stores that I have been to in Toronto. One could find most of the Indian and other continental vegetables and fruits in this place and all the groceries necessary for everyday cooking. I loved how fresh the veggies and fruits were. I loved specifically the baby spinach freshness, packaging and the taste❤️ Must visit place. Keep up the great customer experience!
Very nice grocery store. I think its a best in Toronto. There is a lot of asian stuff available. The best sushi its here, prices are also good! Highly recommended! I will come back 5*

Nov 29, 2022 i just went there to get groceries and I'm surprised that they still sell expired items which my kids regularly purchased. Vegetables/fruits are mix on bags with bad ones. If you decided to go here please check the expiry date before giving it to your kids!!!!
Super good store! Has lots of products of different types of backgrounds. You can find lots of great foods. They sell European snacks that are not quite found everywhere!! Sales associate could be more nicer and responsible for assisting consumers other than that the store itself its pretty good. They even got a small food court that has different types of goodies!
I used to come here all the time when we lived in the area. Everything is more or less the same as before. I just don't remember it being so big. The perishables are fairly priced. When on sale, hard to beat. There always seems to be a line for the ready to eat foods. The lines for checkout are usually long. This place doesn't accept American Express.
New Ocean Supermarket is a Asian grocery (Sri Lankan, Indian) store but more than a grocery store. I went to this place for the first time and was impressed the way things have been organized and you never bore in the store. It's the way the products are organized. The colour, freshness and variety of the products. One of the favourite corners is the butcher shop for chicken, mutton and sea food. Do you know that they can clean and cut meat or sea food for you? So no cutting and cleaning at home, just love it. This is going to be our one stop shopping place for groceries, and household items in future. Service is excellent.
I had the worst experience today. I bought packaged chicken, which i get every week, and ask the employee at the meat counter to cut, but he was rude and declined my request. I asked the customer service also they didn't help either. I always cut my chicken with the employee wearing glass who is decent and helpful.

The bread section is not as big, but they do have some breads made in-house. Lots of aisles to explore. Be sure to look out for sales in the back of the store and end caps.
Store has a whole lot of variety for people of different cultures. They often have fruits of all kinds, best bought when they are newly delivered. I find food that Nigerians eat even though it caters mostly to the Asian population…and for very good price. Your regular everyday needs can be found there as well. I would give the store a 5* but the staff are so cold and can’t even be courteous to their customers. This is not a one off experience as I go to Lontai at least twice a week.

Very well organized stock. The shelves are well stocked and the store is clean and tidy. They carry a wide range of groceries covering the east and the west. The have a large variety of fruits and vegetables which are fresh and of good quality. The display of the produce is so appealing. They also carry many household items such as pots and pans and cutlery and crockery. The associate at the checkout was so warm and helpful. I wish we had one such store in Oshawa.
I went there to get groceries,while billing one of the billing staff hurt my finger, I told her two times that 'you hurt me' and she didn't give any response.I expected basic manners from her side. The management should give them basic training about customer service .
Nice fresh vegetables and fruit. Great halal meat counter and the fish counter is very good. Fresh goat lamb and pork and beef is available. Frozen seafood and vegetable selection is great also. They have a hot table with a huge selection of Chinese and Filipino food. In the spring, they have a nice outdoor garden Centre.

This is best and cheap gujarati groceries shop in Scarborough for International students. Comparing with Panchvati it is lot more cheaper. At Panchvati if your total bill is $50 then definitely at Mirch Masala it will be near to $35. All vegetables are fresh. Definitely will recommend Mirch Masala to buy groceries. 👍
I stopped by their garden center and it's very large and well stocked with a large variety of plants, flower baskets and vegetables and prices are very good. You have to pay inside so sometimes not convenient. The store is quite crowded and a tad smelly.
Lately, FoodyMart isn't the same as it was before, the food court is made to take out, it's different (like the quality, n the price is more expensive), also they didn't give out the shopping bags (u need to bring our own or buy it like Food Basics, etc.) That I might understand, some people milking it (take extra than they shouldn't), but at least they should have gotten something to wrap the bottle with stuff like Besco. Besco used the stuff that wrapped fruit, they saved them to wrap everything that is glass (bottles). At least, they organize the store, n look clean.
Nice store. Best part they have an enclosed meat section, so no smell but it is definitely smelly at the entrance. I found a few things that I have been looking for a while. Prices are okay. They have a large section for everything. I picked up Indian spices which was quite cheap than other stores. Their noodles selection is limited. Snack items are varied from srilanka to India. Pots, pans and basic cutlery is available too. A few brands have good quality too. I went for two things but found more. I am satisfied with my purchase and it has few items that others don’t have so definitely will visit again.
