Historical Place. Guards are kind enough in letting us take photos.

Wanted to go on a tour, the friendly guards there told me you have to send an email and you may receive a schedule of available tour dates.

OPEN IT FOR THE PUBLIC USE. It's been more than 40 years because of the selfishness and narrow minds of the past administration; it was left to root like some that already died with it. I hope you could open at least 10 more around the whole country

The Nuclear Power Plant can be a milestone for the Philippines' capability to produce Electrical Energy independently. The Bataan Nuclear Power Plant will be a significant reducer of the Electric bill across Luzon. The Plant must be rehabilitated. Many scientists and experts around the world concluded that BNPP has outdated hardware and facilities. There are also a lot of design frauds that may result the BNPP to accidentally explode due to poor design in the control rods of the reactor much like what have happened in Chernobyl

Just lyk mt samat cross, bnpp is not only NON operational but NO entrance as well due to covid protocols.
As to whether bnpp should b operational, it would lyk riding a 1976 toyota corolla in da year 2021. ALL would b costly to maintain and parts to be modernized. But m not a politician, m just a person who wanders round philippines wid my golden retrievers.

Bataan Nuclear Power Plant is a nuclear power plant, completed but never fueled, located on a 3.57 square kilometre government reservation at Napot Point in Morong, Bataan. It was the Philippines' only attempt at building a nuclear power plant.
Construction of BNPP was the Government's response to the 1973 oil crisis, as the Middle East oil embargo had put a heavy strain on the Philippine economy. President Ferdinand Marcos believed that nuclear power is the solution to meeting the country's energy demands and decreasing dependence on imported oil.

After watching Chernobyl, (and I suggest you, scientist or not should watch as well) -- It is humbling to realize that although this is a great source of sustainable energy, it's a far greater risk to have it fail. But the photos look great 5/7 would recommend.
