They have a large choice but it's also quite expensive. I haven't seen a Korean in the shop, though. Probably not the right place if you need specific advice on Korean cuisine

My experience here is a mixed bag. Veggies aren't necessarily fresh. The ones imported from China is ugh! I once bought a package of shitake mushroom here, and it tasted like the first 4 letter of its name. On the plus side, they have kangkong (or water spinach; please don't call it morning glory). A lot of frozen stuff. Huge wall of instant ramens. Yet, it's small and not diverse in almost everything else. The biggest plus here is its homemade kimchi. Yes, it's very darn good kimchi. But they should train their young staff that, whenever anyone buys their kimchi, give them an extra bag to wrap that thing! If it leaks, the smell will not go off for a day! That's why you don't see people crash into kimchi stalls (or fish sauce isle for that matter) in an Asian action movie! The smell will haunt you. It's common sense, and customers should have to ask you for that.

Nakwon is one of a kind.. if you compare it to asia market in donauzentrum it's a huge difference, the food is really cheap and good especially if you are a Chinese/Korea food lover go there, it still the same.
Nicely equipped, big and well organized store. Decent prices as well.
Nice super market that has a variety of asian products. We got the cola ice cream wich turned out to be absolutely delicious. They offer a variety of products that could be hard to find. Although it was closing time the employee allowed us to enter and buy what we want. He speaks only german which could cause a communication barrier. I usually go to modern asian market but i found some stuff here that i couldn’t find before. If this place is near you i would definitely recommend stopping by and buying some snacks.

Great supermarket, great assortment. A bit pricey but surprisingly less pricey compared to one Japanese supermarket at Naschmarkt (But that other place really have authentic Japanese stuff 😊). Still it can be more affordable.
For the last four months not in sight Cafe Snow soft cheese cake!

Missing the fish shaped ice cream from Korea 🍨🐟😔 though that was labeled on the product etiquette above the freezer
Fantastic range of Asian fresh, packaged and frozen foods. Clean and bright with shelves full but not overcrowded. Staff were friendly and helpful, place is obviously well managed. Really liked that for a number of items had smaller bottles eg 150ml, great for travelers or if only occasionally use an item, reduces waste. Location not too far from MariaHilferStrasse so easy to get to and find.

This one's my favorite Korean market in the city with the cheapest Soju in town & a wide wide range of Korean & other Asian ingredients to shop from. You can find snacks, sauces, noodles, vegetables, frozen meat & fish & everything that you'd need to cook a good Asian meal with a wide range of brands. The market is pretty big & the staff super helpful!
Nice selection of goods (I would've preferred more Japanese foods, but it seems they are more focused on Chinese / Korean.. but I got what I wanted)
