The park is equipped with such beautiful playful structures! There’s a light house, a pirate boat, and also a zipline!!! for kids. The equipment were clean and the park was not busy when we visited (early March). There was also a few picnic tables with a chess set design on the table and more play area in a shaded part of the park. Restrooms were close by also.

November 25,2023 update,
Parking is free coz all the meters are covered with black plastic bags
Very nice park with wonderful views and paved walkways for those that want to walk but not rocky or sandy trails.

The coolest park I’ve ever seen in my life! My inner child came out and had so much fun! My 1 year old and 3 year old had a blast! We drove 2.5 hours for this park. There’s a zip line, so many slides, swings, volleyball court, sand and water.

It’s 4 stars because of the ridiculously priced parking. Total scam. Even downtown Toronto doesn’t have prices like that.

You could spend an entire day here, the beach is right across the street from the park. There’s a water bottle filling station! They’ve thought of everything!
It's been over 40 years since I've been here. But the view is as beautiful as always

A great hang-out place for kids and parents. It's right across the beach and the park is big and beautiful and has several attractions to engage kids.

Specifically the kids playground.
This place is amazing. Rubberized pad with zip line, pirate ship, lighthouse, multiple swings, tiny house connected by crawling tubes, PLENTY OF SHADE, climbing ropes, splash pad, shaded board walk, 4 beach volleyball courts, covered eating areas, sand pit, outdoor misting showers and washrooms.
If you are a family with young children, your kids have nothing to complain about.

Discourage visitors with step parking fees! 😔
Although we weren't allowed to pay to stay, which was both weird and frustrating. The view was wonderful
However.

If people cannot capture a moment and disperse, what's the impetus to come BACK to Collingwood to spend MONEY or TIME in the city?

And regardless of the retort, it left a sour taste in my wife's mouth and wondered if we would ever be back with the children.

Ah well. Least I got exactly 2 seconds to relax after driving for almost 4 or 5 hours.

Collingwood hospitality does not reflect very well overall on my first interaction in a great many years.

It may be a great many years before I visit yet.

Probably the coolest park we’ve been too. Different areas to the park and play structures for kids of all ages. Also has a sand/water area and mister. Washrooms are close by. It is close to parking (expensive about 10$ an hour). Directly across from beach access and trail. Really nice area! Lots of shade in the trees to sit. Park itself is not shaded but the area around it is!
Pretty place to walk around and just chill. Parking is steep and during summer time watch out because they do give out parking tickets. A lot of people were swimming and diving. Nice place to just relax.

Love, love, love this park. Great for kids of all ages, especially the little ones. There is a mix of rubber, wood chips and sand. A zip line, pirate ship, and a lighthouse. The sand area has a water mister (rather than a splash pad) and a water trough which is fantastic for sensory play. There is a ton of shade and a washroom across the road at the chip hut.
The only con was having to pay for parking (non local) which was $10 an hour 😬

It’s beautiful on a clear sunny day. Can easily spend an hour. They have scan and pay parking. Food trucks are available. We saw white swans swimming around. View is great on all sides. People are fishing, sailing. You could walk beside the water for a long stretch and noticed a bird house. Overall good park.
This was near the northern tip of Collingwood and we decided to drop by to check it out. We stayed there for just a minute since there wasn't much to see and they even had paid app parking... I would not recommend paying since we left shortly after and barely left the car's side.

The view wasn't too bad but we had to drive by fairly deep puddles just to get there (it rained the day before). I would recommend going here on a dry day maybe but there are other places to get a decent view.
Interesting Park (at the far end of Collingwood).
Decided to take a small detour as we were heading back to Orillia from Bruce Peninsula during our summer road trip back in Aug 2022. View of Georgian Bay was super. Facilities were minimal but neat and tidy. We witnessed what appeared to be a sort of emergency fire drill with a bunch of helicopters, police cruses, ambulances, and fire trucks. The only bad thing about this place is that eyesore gray building looking more like an abandoned silo or something. Maybe it should be demolished (just my own opinion).
PS: And yes I agree with several folks who complained about parking using your cell phone to pay. I am not a phone person and I DO NOT CARE about having data-plans. I WANTED TO PAY for parking but there was no other option so we took a risk and didn't pay. It seems like that EVERYWHERE. And like some folks in these reviews, Collingwood and all other small towns and cities: they are killing their own tourism industry. They should also accommodate for people with no cell phone. Even in places like Ottawa, Toronto, or east of Orillia one can find parking machines that at least allows one to use other methods of payments. My 2 cents!

Always a delightful stroll along the boardwalk listening to the birds in the, and the sounds of all the water birds. At the right time of year, you can observe swans nesting, Canadian Geese, turtles, owls, kayakers, SUP, and always the lovely view of the Grain Terminal across the Bay.
Nice relaxing spot to have lunch, water all around you it’s very peaceful.
Well designed park with historical Exhibit.
Amazing park with a lot of different play zones to satisfy all kids's needs!) I like that the playgrounds are custom made and have a character that makes them different from all other playgrounds around the city. I love the beautiful cedar forest beside it. Proximity to the water and the views of beautiful sunset is an extra bonus. My kid likes that playground. It is great for both kids and adults. I highly recommend.
