I had the pleasure of visiting the Montreal Biosphère and the beautiful park surrounding it, and it exceeded all my expectations. This iconic geodesic dome, originally built for Expo 67, is a true marvel of architectural design.

Inside the Biosphère, you'll find a fascinating exploration of our planet's ecosystems, climate change, and sustainability. The interactive exhibits are not only educational but also engaging for visitors of all ages.

But the magic doesn't stop there. The park itself is a lush, green escape from the urban hustle and bustle. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic with stunning views of the Saint Lawrence River and the city skyline. The peaceful ambiance and well-maintained pathways make it a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply looking for a serene place to unwind, the Montreal Biosphère and its surrounding park are a must-visit. It's a testament to the city's commitment to environmental awareness and a hidden gem waiting to be explored. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with nature and learn about our planet's precious ecosystems.
I love this place, you can take beautiful pictures, it's easy to get there, you can take the bus to go to la ronde, if you want to you can take the ferry to the old port (extra if you don't have an opus card) or just enjoy the view and chill

Huge park. lots of activities to do. parking is paid. $12/2hr and $20/day. it would take one full day to visit everything. go on a weekend as most of fun activity happens. check the website before going.
one of the pictures is timing for the bistro
there is big metro station if you don't want to drive. bus stops as well. easy transit access and more frequency.
hiking trails, biosphere museum, la Ronde (fair), casino, garden, bar and patio, kayaking and water activities. lots of things available. please check the website to see if the activities you want to try is available on the particular day of your visit.

Park Dieppe is an absolute gem! It's a fantastic escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The highlight for me has to be the breathtaking view of downtown Montreal. It's the perfect spot to unwind, whether you're looking for a serene place to clear your mind or enjoy a picnic with friends and family. The tranquility and stunning vistas make Park Dieppe a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a serene urban oasis.

This is one of my favorites parcs in Montréal! It has a picnic area with lots of benches. The entrance has a private land where you can see surfers on the river. It has washrooms. The location is great as it allows you to see old Montreal, the wheel, circus, and other hot touristic parts. On the other side you can see La Ronde and Parc Jean drapeau. There is a bixi stop. I recommend spend 30 min here and go to Casino, Parc Jean Drapeau or the small island on the north of it . All can be done within the same day.
The parc de Dieppe is a place where you can lose track of time. I highly recommend chilling there with friends or on your own.

Very large Parc! Many activities! Lots of resting places (benches)! Could improve on adding more public washrooms! Metro and Bixi stations! Great for kids and families! See map attached!

Vacationing from the US. Metered parking, friendly anglers, and yes I caught me a walleye on my 3 day pass! Probably your best bet fishing in Montreal! Go fish!

It's such a beautiful place. There's so much to see. The flowers are beautiful. There's also this enormous blue chair that's really cool. I simply went there to enjoy the clamness of the afternoon and had no idea a that the Biosphere Museum was near by. I was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely enjoyed going there and intend to go back soon.
I spent 4 months in Montreal and went frequently there, even did a helicopter tour above. That’s really a gem in the city. I love the fact it is such easy to access with the metro. There are a lot of music events during the summer. Truly the best place to admire the city in my opinion.

I had some trouble figuring out how to get here with all the construction. The first parking lot I tried did not have a working parking payment station. It was interesting once we got to the biosphere. A short walk on the promenade got us a great view of old Montreal and St. Lawrence River. More research will be required to make better use of the park next time!!
A very big and beautiful park with great views of the city and harbour. They've been making many renovations to update the park's infrastructure, buildings, and landscape features.

I definitely recommend coming here during the weekdays when it's quiet to explore the many trails and gardens.

I wish I could visit it every day! I like the sunset here. This place never bores you! There are different variations in the sky during sunset and the change of the colors is unbelievable! You could just sit in the garden and hangout all day! You'll thank me after you visit this place!

Beautiful park to spend some quality time. Good for small group events. BBQ facilities are good and allowed. Public toilets are available but no place for drinking water. People can get a great view of old port. Love that green park.

I used Parc de Dieppe as recommended on the Habitat 67 website as a free parking option with a limited # of spots. I searched the internet high and low for more information and found nothing. I am so glad I drove. The parking is RIGHT NEXT to the gates for Habitat. There must be about 20 spots. About half of the spots were taken when I came for my 10:30 tour on a Wednesday morning. There is also a bixy station right here as well. You can see the Habitat 67 tennis courts in the photos! You take the street opening just next to Habitat, but BEFORE the bridge!

I have recently visited this place and it became on of my favourite place in Montreal. If you love biking then get on your bike or rent a bixi. (there are several bixi spots throughout the lachine canal road , so you can change it in every 30 mins). The bike path is beautiful and it’s around 15 km from old port. If you are here then don’t forget to visit “René Lévesque Park” sunset point is beautiful

One of my most favorite spots in Montréal. Must visit, especially around sunset, take a walk on the Lachine Canal and try the Italian gelato place Uno Gelato.
Would be more pleasant if cyclists were not yelling at you to get out the way while you take a Sunday Stroll. The paths are supposed to be shared. Cyclists do not have god-given priority. To be avoided on public holidays for the picnic congestion- loud music and BBQ's.
The Bixi' can be uncomfortable riding if u dont ajust your seating. Had muscular pain for days after renting one.

A beautiful place to go for a walk, either along the shoreline trail, or wander around the park. It reminded me a bit of Vancouver's seawall trail. That day they were setting up for a music concert for the evening. I would like to go back again to walk the trail. 👍
