I worked a field day event for military reserves where they played outdoor games. Plenty of shaded areas.

Great park for walking your dog

The aquatics center & pools are excellent, and the host team & volunteer parents (and officials) are some of the best.

Nice park for what it is… small, near busy road, not much to do except walk through, but great park for dogs. Had a nice quiet picnic here.

Wonderful public park with large grass area, basketball courts, playground, Aquatic and fitness center. Our family has attended many activities here including swim, duve, basketball and dancce/gym classes. Coaches and staff are all helpful and inviting.

Nice, quiet playground with some beautiful 🌵 at the entrance. The playground is covered in sand and has a large sun shade on it.
It is an accessible playground with swings, climbing structures, slides, picnic tables, covered seating options, basketball court, sand volleyball court and a large paved path around the entire park.

It is a very popular park and well thought of. It is a narrow but quite long park. There is no parking. The park just north often has a full lot. If you live in the area then having no parking is preferable. The park is always maintained. People walk, ride bikes plus skate and just relax. The western edge of the park is residential and when their bushes are in bloom are a beautiful sight.
There is a very small pond at the north end. Being part of the flood plain green belt you can take almost any length of walk. If trees were added it might be considered for Disc golf? Since our area has many parks I don't share the enthusiasm shown by other Camelback Park visitors. I have not experienced the sidewalk every being busy.
If it proven then the city might consider a second sidewalk. The current walk might be for anything with wheels and no motor. A second walkway might be to the west. It might be considered to put in some park benches and a drinking fountain. Having benches every 300 feet would permit rest or just socializing.

I highly recommend Camelback Park in Scottsdale, AZ. This specified site is but a 5 min walk from Chaparral Park. Hence, convenient location for easy access for sitting to have shade from sun exposure during the day. Often, I enjoy tranquil walks around Camelback Park while capturing nature, contemplating life, alongside to feel the breeze on my skin.

Today, I enjoyed an hour of speed walking at Cactus Park. This destination provides light elevation, beautiful greenery, wide lengthy sidewalks (beneficial for brisk walks and bicycle rides), and engine noise varied upon passing traffic. Additional benefits regarding Cactus Park include picnic tables, a fair amount of shade during sunny days, a basketball court, alongside a playground. Hence, I highly recommend Cactus Park!

This place really isn't a park. It's more like a long strip of grass with some trees and a bike path through it. It connects chaparral Park to the recreational area between Camelback and Indian School. It's not a bad place to walk but it's certainly not a real destination on its own.

Nice stroll! I only had my cell phone, but I saw a flycatcher (name of bird species)! What a beauty! Know my pic is rotten, but he was such a bright beautiful red and pretty song! Definitely felt like a special surprise for my b-day (so ty mother nature). The other two are the doves and grackles enjoying the fresh grass seed. The dove one looks like a blank grass canvas, but there were close to 50 dove❤️

Great location, 4 basketball courts. Plenty of room to bring the family, kids. Nice playground. Large grass fields. Right next to the aquatic center. Plenty of parking spaces.

The weather was lovely a lot of people came to take there dog's for a walk, some were having a picnic or running

Gorgeous place with well maintained walk / bike way and water.

We had a great time at a nice park. 4 stars only because when we got there at 10 a.m. none of the Pavilions had reservations on them so we did not know which Pavilion was ours. The park and rec folks didn't show up until about 10:30 at which time we had already set up for our barbecue including the bounce house. I would have been better if someone hadn't gotten it done prior to the time that we paid for it which was today I am. Ross there's no real issues since none of the armada's had reservations on them.

The views from Camelback are wonderful. The hike was relatively easy. I learned there are two starting points. The one I started from was the easiest. The only drawback was the people traffic. Maybe it was due to the holiday, the trail was packed with people. Parking is also difficult. There is only on street parking so you have to wait for someone to leave. My brother had a great idea, we should have Uber'ed it.
