This store doubled the prices of food. Now it's too expensive but if you get food stamps then you should be fine

They had a cake mix I have not had in 37 yrs. ORANGE SUPREME cake mix. When I made it after having my dinner I cut a slice with tears in my eyes with the remembrance of my mother.

I shop there monthly and had no issue but this time I bought Goya beans and they look rotten opened 7 cans 6 of pink beans and one black bean and it looks rooted. Called the supermarket and I’m not the only person that called about this issue and their reply was that the beans contain salt and the weather case them to get this way that I could just wash them.

Huge supermarket!!!! My first time here a few months ago and I was impressed. I only stopped in for a few things, I don't live in the area. I only visit this neighborhood because I have appointments around here. I must say I wish there was a Food Bazaar in Pelham Bay.

I love this supermarket b/c I am able to find any ingredients from different countries. If you want to cook a dish from your country and you don't find the ingredients in another supermarket FOOD BAZAAR WOULD HAVE IT!!!!

Best grocery store bar none for us "ethnics" lol. Always have what you need and at a fair price. The widest selection there really is no competitor

I do most of my food shoppong at this supermarket. Their seafood section has a great variety. And I love that I earn points when I shop

Was packed when I came here it was a good time trying to find out how many sales they would have the day before thanksgiving I Had to wait a long time for a line the cashier here are kinda young

Moved here 25 years ago and have been a loyal customer since.The employees are very nice.Absolutely loved the Food Bazaar app and the points you accumulate each time you buy groceries.You can earn $100 for buying anything they carry.Love You Food Bazaar!!!

great prices big vegetable and fruit section and also a big meat department. Prices are very affordable

The supermarket is decent. It has a good selection of products, and the prices are reasonable. However, the aisles can be a bit narrow, and the checkout lines can get long during peak hours. Overall, it gets the job done, but there's room for improvement.

I like food bazaar. Everything is presentable and organized. The supermarket is extremely cold 🥶 so I’d suggest you to grab a sweater or cardigan before you go in. Now there prices are okay. I enjoy coming to this supermarket because they have a huge parking lot and I don’t have to struggle for parking and I could say their prices are fair.

The level of disrespect I experience in this supermarket should not tolerated. The employee speaking to me ,A PAYING CUSTOMER!!! , in an amateur manner. No one should be allowed to speak to someone like the way this young lady did to me. I asked to speak to the manager and she rolled her eyes. Kept talking nasty to me in front of her supervisor. Whose body language actual language was nasty and disgusting. The supervisor then called a manager. They gave me the robotic response about it won't happen again. I left unsatisfied so I called the store and spoke with NELSON who said he was the manager on duty. That wasn't the person who I spoke to on the floor. No one seems to take accountability on the poor customer service this store has.

To add, I've been a loyal customer to this facility since it opened and I am extremely astonished on how this supermarket went downhill.

Oh, and I did call the 800 number. One they gave me and one I saw in past review posted by an other customer. No one called.

Played games and hid the crab legs that were on sale. Also did not want to honor the sale price for the woman on line ahead of me. Typical hood establishment more on the bodega side.

There was a lady that works on the register. I believe her name is Kimberly Clark. She was an absolute pleasure. She was trying to help another woman while she was helping me. She was so nice about it. And kept reassuring me she was going to be right with me. I appreciated her so much. It's hard to come across those type of people these days. She really lifted my spirits in that moment. So thank you Ms. Kimberly 💕

Well maintained location! The store is huge. They open early @ 7a. We'll stocked and quick checkouts. I go in at 7 and there's no crowd, everything's is fresh and plentiful. Great sales, too! Try it you won't be dissatisfied.

Went shopping here with my S/Os mother (who shops here regularly), and upon checking out and leaving the store, an employee (I think they might've been a manager?) grabbed my shoulder and said "You need to pay for that", referring to a box of beer I was carrying. I said "I did, see it has the sticker" (a bright orange "PAID" sticker), and the employee responded back to me "No you didn't😐", so I said "Okay, I'll grab the receipt", I showed the employee the receipt and pointed out the text that showed the beer was paid for already. She said "Oh...😕 Give me one minute😶" and went back into the store and disappeared. She never came back out to apologize for accusing me of stealing....

Train your employees better so they don't make ignorant accusations 🤦🏾

Oh boy this store! This was my first time visiting this store as well as my first time in that section of the Bronx. I find people in the Bronx to be kind of unusual, to say the least.

I walked into this store, and the foods are nicely displayed but the place was so compact and congested. The fish market is in the center of the bottom of the produce isle- that is crazy to me. Why? Because there is water running on the floor and the scent of fish as you walk through the main door. Absurd! Again it is run by persons who don't speak English. Neither are there English speakers stacking the shelves. I wanted a piece of yellow yam but I needed to peer the rough dark area off. I approached a shelf stocker, and asked for a knife , he didn't know what I was saying- I didn't remember what the Spanish word for knife was so I used miming to convey my request. He still was non-responsive. I suggested he ask around so someone could speak for him.

He found someone and that person disappeared for over 20 minutes. My friend and I went to the cashier we realized the fish was not priced. I went back to have it weighed and priced.

When we got home and unloaded the bag the fish wasn't in the bag. My friend suggested that it may have fell from the cart. I retracted my steps nothing. So I went back to the store to inform them that it was probably left on the counter. The cashier claimed my friend had said she wasn't going to pay for it so it was put back in the fish market.
I went to check it was no where to be found. I picked through the stale cuttings and found 2 other pieces to my displeasure. I left the store quite confused and disappointed. That place has some weird people there. Be very careful when you shop there!

Amazing supermarket! Love the self checkout option for 10 items or less. I will like to know ehy they removed the ensure and pediasure from isles and put it by the cashiers?

The selections are massive. The market is clean and designed in a way where the lines are never overflowing into the aisles or are frustratingly long. The fruit selections are insane. It seems to go on forever. There are options, OPTIONS, in an area that is known to be a good desert. From basic to organic, the selections are present. Also, sales are frequent and lucrative. A plus!

Visiting from the UK the prices were higher than average however I was able to get everything I need.

They now have men cashier..what food store has men cashier. I don't like it. I like a woman handling my food money and me.
Why I gave it 4 stars is because the women that shop there are awesome looking and there was two women that I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Both perfect in my eyes

This food bazaar market has everything that you need for your kitchen, only problem with the deli section every time i go there the employees always busy chatting and chilling they have bunch of customer standing out there waiting but they move like nothing is happening.

They have a nice variety of meats, seafood fruits and vegetables. Decent prices. It gets really crowded at times. Its better to shop here early in the morning. They have renovated the deli and the seafood departments and have added more fresh fruits and vegetables.
