The atmosphere and food were very authentic, the restaurant is not very big (as it seems to be a nice family business) but cozy. The owners definitely invested a lot of thought into decorating it typically Mexican, going into the littlest details.
The food preparation took under 10 minutes for 2 different dishes, the staff was very friendly and the food absolutely amazing! We can definitely say it was the most authentic and tasty Mexican food ever tasted and are very happy that such places exist and to have discovered this one!

We usually come here both for lunch and dinner, and it's good for both. In my opinion, the cocktails used to be of better quality before.
When I moved to Bochum I promised I’d find the best margarita they have to offer and Tequileria has it. We had the Birria nachos - brilliant. Empanadas were a bit tasteless but we ordered some mango salsa to go with them which was satisfactory. We split the pulled pork tacos with rice and salad which is quite a big portion so we didn’t really get to the rice and salad. As it was a celebration, we also got the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream which was truly the star of the show.
Great food, i highly recommend trying.

Very nice and super friendly service. Opens till very late! Very nice and delicious mexican food and overall good prices! Would def go again!
A group of friends and I decided to go for Taco Tuesday and we were surprised by the service. I guess they were short staffed for the day, because it took at least 30 minutes for the first waitress to ask for our orders. Then, it took an hour for the first order to arrive. After 3 hours I ate the incredible amount of 6 tacos. The servers were obviously distressed because they kept mixing our drinks with neighboring tables.
To be fair, the price is low and the food is good.

As a Mexican, I was honestly pretty disappointed. I was there on Taco Tuesday (it was the only dish I tried). The rice was very dry (possibly cooked a few days ago), tortillas were half empty, the flavors did not remind me of Mexico at all, and the service was very slow.

Quite frankly I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I had an amazing evening at the TequilaRia: the food was delicious and quite a big portion for the money we paid, very friendly staff, who checked on us frequently and amazing atmosphere! We used a Neotaste coupon and despite the fact that we messed up something in the app, they still accepted it. I will for sure go back again!
Good food but terrible service. Very disappointed. The waitress didn't come back to take our order or check on us for over 40 minutes. We wanted to order more food but decided just to pay and leave instead.
Nice place to be, great people around, good music (only inside the restaurant), and beautiful garden... ah, the food? Wooow... huge plate (you will be very satisfied) and delicious (and off course a little bit spicy).
