Not worth the price. The Domain is a much better area to stay in. They also charge $50 a day for valet on top of a resort fee. So the $420 a night they advertise is more like $620. Definitely not worth that price. Not a 5 start hotel. The ritz, Jw, St Regis are on a whole new level. Won’t return
Spent a perfect summer weekend here. Loved the resort feel, but also the convenience of being across the street from an HEB and lots more. Excellent neighborhood for walking. Best of all is the pool, cooled for comfort and with great poolside service. Best hotel we've ever stayed in anywhere in Texas.
Where do I begin? Very unassuming building but when you pull in to the parking area, it's alll luxury from there. Greeted by a great host, and fantastic valet service, walking in you're surrounded by beautiful art, mellow live jazz and a service desk that is there only to provide a great experience. The room was stunning with modern amenities including a great bar selection and a view of downtown Austin that was exquisite. Breakfast at Nido was on another level and can't recommend it enough. Definitely a must book for an anniversary or birthday stay.
Normally when I go on vacation, I come back home feeling more exhausted than when I left. The Commodore Perry is an exception. Everything from the moment you arrive on property is an elevated, thoughtful experience. Fresh beverages served during checkout, speedy and personalized front desk service, and beautiful resort aesthetic were all highlights. You absolutely cannot miss out on their excursions and social calendar events. Our Cultural Experience Specialist, Jonathan, curated an amazing boat trip on Lake Travis with a freshly prepared picnic. We didn’t have to lift a finger! The food on property is a must-try. Food was fresh and delicious all around. I left this trip feeling refreshed and relaxed. Will definitely be returning!
Wonderful hotel with excellent room, an extremely friendly staff, and better amenities than expected for something this size. The rooms had a slightly strange layout, but they were very well appointed. This has become my hotel of choice in Austin.
The hotel is beautiful and welcoming, I love all of the plants and modern yet cozy decor in the lobby. All of the people working at the front desk were nice and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, with modern amenities. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've never slept in! Other reviews said the pool would be busy but it wasn't very busy when we visited (August during the week). The pool area is small but beautiful. The food and drinks at Nido are expensive but top notch, and you can't beat the view from the balcony. There's a cafe attached to the hotel that's really lovely as well, offering coffee, pastries, and some prepared foods. All in all a great stay!
Excellent staycation. We’re Austinites who wanted to have a wonderful anniversary experience and chose this wonderful hotel to be out of the main drag but still have a central location to the trail and great views.
We had a wonderful time. The hotel personell and restaurant ensured we had a great anniversary and was very attentive and accommodating. My husband put in a few special requests at the restaurant before we arrived and we felt welcomed and cared for. Kudos and thank you!
The rooms we stayed in was large, with a beautiful bright modern bathroom and a large 2 person tub, modern interior design and was sparkly clean. Bed was great with nice hotel quality sheets.
This hotel offers some of the best downtown views of Austin, especially the lake view rooms and the restaurant. We loved the en suite balcony where we enjoyed a wonderful sunset over ladybird lake.
The restaurant offers some healthy delicious options for us health nuts, great fresh juices at brunch and excellent croissants (from a European - means a lot).
We’ll be back and happy to recommend this hotel to friends visiting or just looking for a getaway.

Had a terrific time at the Loren at Lady Bird Lake! Rooms were clean and spacious with nice very furnishings and touches.
Staff all around were very friendly and attentive. The rooftop pool was a bit small but nice, and given that the hotel wasn't near full capacity on our trip, it was not too busy at all - during peak summer.
We appreciated the location and the convenience of cafe downstairs and dining at Nido. Definitely planning to stay here again our next Austin trip!

I stayed here over the past weekend through Amex FHR program, I was upgraded to a suite among the other FHR benefits and was very impressed. The property looks and feels very new, as well as everyone being genuinely friendly. I loved the e-bikes they have positioned out front, and can't wait to visit again in a colder month to enjoy them. My only complaint was the pool being very overcrowded to the point where it was standing room only on that balcony. But if you do not need a pool, this place is perfect.
We dined in with Lutie’s restaurant, which is on the same property. Food and ambience is good, but the valet parking service was very disappointing. They charged $20 for valet parking of two cars, but didn’t even help get our cars back while returning - we had to do it ourselves. (The Lutie’s front desk promised us the opposite). Also, the worst past was that they took our home keys from our car without letting us know!! This put us in a lot of trouble as we live far away and were almost locked out!! We had to come pickup the keys asap.

This place is an oasis!!! Can't tell you're in Austin. The grounds are serine and Luties is so delicious, refined and such a relaxing atmosphere!!! Can't wait to be back.
The moment you arrive this hotel really welcomes you! The lobby is gorgeous and the views from our room were outstanding. The pool is very nice but small so can get full. We had breakfast at Nido and had coffees from the shop in the lobby. All delicious! Shot out to the manager Chris who took care of a very small issue we had very promptly. Great, convenient location to downtown.
If you're looking for a staycation, quick get away, or a romantic night for you and your love, you will not believe how close to everything the Commodore Perry Estate is to everything. Rich with history and mystic it's like being transformed into another time and place. The food is really good and there happens to be a really great restaurant on site called Lutties Garden, get a reservation here.

We enjoyed some cocktail pool time and privacy in the room for an afternoon siesta before our dinner reservations. Waking up late for a breakfast in bed before we had to join the real world again. This place makes it easy go forget your a single turn off a busy street near Downtown Austin...and when your lucky enough to have found the one soul that helps you be more you then you have ever felt, well that's simply the best...my love you are simply the best. I cannot wait for the next adventure with you. Thank you my sun, love your moon! 💋🖤💋🖤

This place is just amazing! Stayed in the Mountain side room and has a library. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was so attentive! My only complaint is the shower situation, there is no door to the shower stall and the water pressure is so strong, kind of like a pressure washer. Also there is no covered parking. Other than that, I really enjoy my time here.
Recently stayed at commodore and it doesn’t disappoint, I can see why it’s rated one of the best hotels in Texas. Staff was very accommodating, property is beautiful and the food at both restaurants is amazing. They are very dog friendly and my pups also really enjoyed their stay. This is my go to hotel when in Austin from now on.
This is probably the most cheap and classless property in Austin, Texas. What's worse is the restaurant and the managerial staff that work at this establishment. They are so grotesque to their employees its gross! The dishware was filthy with dirt and fingerprints, not to mention pieces of hair left on the linens. Our food was cold, and the kitchen wouldn't even rewarm our dish because they said it would ruin the food. We asked to speak with the GM, but the floor manager said they were on a conference call for the next three hours so they weren't able to speak with us. When our check came, the wrong drinks were on our tab, so we asked them to change the drinks, but the manager said the bartender saw us having those drinks, so the ticket couldn't be changed. This place is an utter circus, so beware, never come to this dump.
