Do not rent from the owner of 305. My family had our reservations set for that room for months during a holiday and were contacted 2 weeks before we were supposed to leave and informed the “room is now unavailable” - luckily our booking agent got us a room at the building next to Emerald Towers. Knowing what the balcony looked like, we wanted to see if anyone was staying in the room originally booked and sure enough, there was people on the balcony. The owner of 305 is very unprofessional and had my family and I in a panic just so he could let (I’m assuming) someone he knew stay in his room when it had been booked for months. DO NOT RENT ROOM 305!!! Terrible owner and has no problem canceling your reservations last minute!

We stayed in room 202. The room was in a fantastic location, was well priced, was easy to book, check in, and check out. Cooking and dining equipment were provided. Basic papergoods were provided in a small/starter quantity. Towels and washcloths were provided. The beds were pretty hard and we were all achy after the second night. Everything LOOKED clean- it was not. We tend to walk around our home barefooted and attempted to do so here on the first day while unpacking. The floors left the bottoms of our feet black within about an hour (there was no sand or debris that could be seen or felt). The inside seal of the front loading washing machine was covered in mold- since the clothing and water comes in contact with the seal (large rubber area right inside the door) while cycling the machine is essentially not useable- I didn't notice this until our last day when I realized I would not be returning home with suitcases of clean and ready to be put away clothing. The master room bathtub is a jetted tub- I NEVER use jetted tubs that are not in my own home just in case, but this tub was terrible. You can see mold/mildew on every jet. It was very very clear that the cleaning crew does the bare minimum to make the rental LOOK clean. They NEED to do a thorough steam clean or hand scrub of all floors. They NEED to clean the washing machine or replace the seal/unit. They NEED to clean the bathtubs thoroughly- including the jets. The bathtub is especially worrisome since bathing in mold can cause all sorts of issues.
It is a nice rental in a great location, but some serious cleaning needs to be handled.

The beach was perfect, great location. Can walk to the back porch restaurant from the beach. Almost perfect except there was zero service witch was kind of nice but annoying when you forget the gate code. The room also smelled like mildew when we first walked in.

I greatly appreciate the care that emerald towers put into their infrastructure during construction of the building many years ago. Every year we come here the building is still up, and it is still up after all the storms we had. Will be coming back 5/5 stars great place definitely bringing my firstborn here.

Beautiful view from the 13th story balcony in Destin. Awesome place to stay. Only weird thing was the water in the kitchen sink would only turn on about half of the time when we tried to use it. We did not spend a bunch of time in the room so that did not really matter. Overall, great place and had friendly people!

We loved our stay here. They were doing some construction, making improvements but it didn't really hinder our visit. The condo we stayed in was so nice and clean and the view!! My goodness. It was an excellent experience!
