A true gastronomic adventure! The local dishes served here were not only delicious but also a cultural experience. I left with a newfound appreciation for Balinese cuisine. Highly recommended for those who want to explore the authentic flavors of the region.

People here are so friendly and great
The professors, more often than not, are extremely caring and here to be professional while teaching the student.
My lower rating is primarily due to the university wanting to charge for any little thing, lack of parking along with multiple miles to hike to class, or wait on confusing bus schedule, which might not show. The people in parking alone are responsible partially to the low score shame on them they SHOULD BE THERE TO HELP NOT CONFUSE AND OBFISCATE
the absolute saving grace is the staff bothe the teachers and counselors are top-notch.
Yall want to gain back points, stop nickle and dime your students. Finally lower tuition and fees as a whole.
Nothing yall teach is literally worth A HOUSE.

I have been a migraine patient for two years now! Doctor Sbar handpick, Dr. Harris to run the clinic and she doing a fabulous good! Iv never been so miserable in my life trying to find someone to listen to my problems and help me have a better quality of life! I can never speak enough praise for the care the give and are willing to make sure you feel better!
This college is good for hard working and persistent students. It has the best professors you can expect. It has the biggest campus in the whole Texas. You have to start searching for on-campus jobs as soon as you come to campus. If you
The staff were amazing, I was given the wrong appointment time, but they still got us in. From the receptionist to the Drs. and nurses, they were awesome. My son, who the appointment was for, is special needs, required special accommodations, and they went above and beyond to make sure they could serve him properly. I can't thank them enough.
Iconic building which is the oldest building of Texas tech built in 1923.
My niece moved into their dorms this past year. When she first moved in (august) the ac didn’t work for 2 weeks and students were having heat strokes. Then the fire sprinklers went off and damaged many students laptops and property and flooded her floor. They were told to stay out of the dorms until the water was cleaned up. It was past midnight before that happened and they didn’t even offer to put them up in hotel rooms. Now, we have freezing temps in Lubbock and the heater is not working. Called 3 different number and was finally told it needed to go through a request ticket on the website and they weren’t really sure how soon they’d be able to get to it. Didn’t seem to concerned about it either. 😡. The campus police is great at giving out tickets but terrible about helping the students with their safety, as far as reporting robberies and people getting mugged, they’re completely useless.
Housing is a terrible, unhelpful department. They intentionally try and mislead you and they're rigid in these ridiculous rules that they enact arbitrarily. They refuse to fix their terrible and inefficient online presence, and they use this online time selection system which always screws up. Then they don't even try to help you when their system malfunctions. I hate them so much!
Disaster, when I was about to leave , there was still money on the meal plan since it was not able to be used because of the Covid (most of the facilities were closed) , they refused to give it back
Awful Department. Little notice given to students, run by incompetence and power trip types.
TTU Student Housing is one of the best departments on campus. They are very informative and nice about pricing, what best suits your needs, and more. Walk-ins for information and tours are great.
They do not respond to emails, their own chats on the page or phone calls. If you want something done, you'll have to walk in there sternly and not let them give you attitude.
Very rude. If you need to talk about housing they're just gonna send you back to your residence hall to talk to someone from there even if you already talked to them about it. They won't help you at all unless youre moving into a suite style more expensive room.
Very rude. Employees weren't able to talk for themselves and put me on hold 20 times to ask what to say back to me because they couldn't answer simple questions. Unprofessional and unaccomadating.
Texas Tech was on our list of Texas Universities to visit in Texas, and I was quite surprised how nice of a campus it was. Driving out to Lubbock, it seems like the place is going to be dead. But the school has a really nice layout, lots of sculptures, and nice open air. The only complaint is that the Texas heat can be overbearing, but it's easy to hop around from building to building.
