Real meat cooked over hot charcoals. You won't find any of that paper thin meatloaf style crappy meat that is cooked over those electric radiant cookers, similar to those classroom heaters from the local primary school circa 1992.

Fresh meat is assembled over a giant skewer that has probably taken hours to assemble. The meat is properly prepared and seasoned.
For the HSP, you get crispy properly cooked chips, with crisp and well cooked meat, in my case lamb, but I assume the same goes for chicken.

It isn't drowned in sauces, and the balance of all the ingredients is on point. Additionally, you'll find a sprinkle of herbs to finish the meal presentation.

HSP top points for;
Crispy chips.
Real meat, not that fake formed stuff.
One of the only places in a decent kilometres adius that does not use that cheap imiatation meat.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Souvlaki's were delicious, meat was so tender. The Feta chips were also packed in there! 10/10 will be coming back again!

If you live in the Norf it's a no-brainer

The first time I came here the gyro was perfect, fresh onion and fresh tomato, soft and juicy meat and overall worth the high price of $18 but today the gyro was chewy and dry and the onion and tomato didn't taste fresh and for $18 definitely not worth it.
Based on my experience and other people's experiences I think that Melon Labe need to work on consistency.

Food is absolutely banging but if I ask for mayo and pay for mayo that means I want mayo on my souvlaki, I’d normally let it slide but we got three different items and they were all missing ingredients

the souvlaki is ok, but half very soft chips and only half lamb. btw, NO toilet for customer, they point you to go to neighbor's toilet.

Hands down the best souvlaki I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating!! The lamb had a beautiful charred flavour and was super tender. There was either a fennel in the salad or dill in the sauce that just made it perfect.👌 I rarely give a 5 in my reviews but these guys get that….keep it up and I look forward to my next visit down to Melbourne, as you guys are now my first port of call.

Best Souvalki I have ever had! It eas so good we had to try the sweets too and they were also fabulous

Gyro is overpriced for the quantity of salty and over spiced meat in the wrap, but accommodating salad is fresh. Please add more garlic to the tzatziki!!

We randomly found this joint in Preston area and were surprised by the good taste and size of the souvlaki we had. Would definitely stop again here if in the area.

Best gyros I've had around the area by far, super fresh ingredients, bunch of flavours happening, even the chips are super fresh and cooked properly. Highly recommend. Staff are super friendly too!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they actually made me smile and so did the food. Traditional and the meat literally melted in my mouth. The ingredients were really fresh as well. Don't hesitate to pop in!!!!! My new go to place!!!!!

Delicious. Really friendly staff. Lamb kebab was so good. Chips were crispy, hot and perfectly salted.

Daaaaamn. Crispy pressed perfection! Toasted pressed thin Greek wrap, sealed as it crisped together (couldn’t unwrap it so perfectly unmessy), with soft fresh but structurally sound falafel. Tasty LTO salad with red onion. I added jalapeños ($1 I think) for a little extra pop. Vegans—it has tzatziki by default unless you ask, so I swapped to hommus and chilli sauce. Flavour freakin’ explosion. Ugggggh

Unusual slightly crispy pita a real change from the usual soft one.

Everywhere I’ve been in Melbourne so far has taken great care of their food. Except this place. I would’ve skipped ordering a combo if I would’ve known my fries would come with a mountain of salt on them. Pretty disappointing as I can’t even eat them. I’m sure THEY wouldn’t even eat them.

We popped in for a quick lunch Wednesday, got 2 lamb portions, $48. Meat seemed left over from last week, not tasty, and dry. It was full of fries, and pinch of meat and little garlic dip...Terrible! Will not be returning. If owner reconsiders to be generous with the meat portion he offers, I will consider coming back. These times are hard for everyone, meat prices have gone up, but its not nice to make a mockery to new customers, since this is a new establishment.

Mixed gyros was very nice, they have very nice meat here, better than the lamb meat you get at most kebab shops, their chips was also very nice. Hsp was solid also.
It's a little pricey.

Cooked on Charcoal as described and it was full of flavour, nicely cooked and simply delicious if you're after that charcoal chicken taste!

*Was about $18 from memory for a small foil container of chicken. It felt like a snack size rsther than a small size. Definitely not worth the money, unless it was around the $10 to $12 price point.

Good price for the portion. I ordered a mixed grill for one person and it was enough for 3 of us. The place is clean and new. Sadly the traditional dishes on the menu ( stuffed veggies, cabbage rolls etc) are not readily available and are for catering/ pre order only.

Ignore the haters! Great food! Great service and ambiance! Our orders didn't take long to come out and they were worth waiting for! Omg the meat was so tender and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning! Highly recommended! Generous serving sizes for the plates we ordered! Well done to the crew there! We'll be back!

Super expensive, serving size was extremely small extremely stingy on the meat, chips and salad. Lamb was dry and chewy and made two of us feel unwell the next day

First time eating from here and it will be the last! Lamb was dry as, chips over cooked and we waited ages for our meal. Very disappointed and just waisted $65

Wow what a great place is 2 Greeks. I went to Northside with my friends what a great atmosphere. I had the best falafel platter. And that grilled greek cheese so delicious. Just perfect for a vegetarian dinner. Such a generous serve and so tasty. What is also great about this place is that you can have a vegetarian meal whilst your friends have a wonderful souvlaki. I have been there about 5 times now, so relaxed and friendly. And the service was fantastic. Do your self a favour and support this great local family business.

Honestly some of the best souvlaki’s I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot), top tier for sure, so damn yum and very well priced. If you feel like a souvlaki it’s a no brainer, can’t wait to order again and try some of the other items, don’t sleep on this joint!!
