Had a small birthday dinner here on Saturday night with my daughter and SIL. It was warm and beautiful inside, food was excellent, and service was very good. Highly recommend for a delightful place for a dinner with a friend or friends. Reservations are needed. Totally charming.
Excellent food, my favourite Greek restaurant in the city. Always great service! I'll order any moussaka based dish they have.

In the past two years they have doubled prices and halved serving sizes. Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious, but at the rate they're moving, in a year or so a shawarma fries will cost $37.79 and will have 6-11 fries. My advice? Spend a few more bucks for twice the quantity without compromising taste and quality at nearby restaurants.
It was my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last. Great food. Ellie, our server, was very helpful when I had no idea what to eat. Her recommendations hit the spot. Plus an added bonus. . ...... she's funny as hell!!!! Check it out
I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl. The taste was really good, rice was flavourful and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The only reason I gave it one star less is because of the price.
I paid $14.99 plus tax for the just the bowl without any veggies which is expensive in my opinion.

Their Calamari was really good(highly recommend) however their Gyro dinner arrived pretty warm and was not that tasty.

My wife and I visit Babaz almost every time we drop our kids back off to school.
We absolutely love the food here. Large quantities for the price, and the quality is incredible.
The staff are friendly, and I can't even count on both hands how many times we've seen both the owners in there. You can tell this is their passion big time.
Always a warm welcome and smiles from the staff, we leave with our bellies full and some leftovers for tomorrow.

Shawarma is one of my favourite kind of meat when it comes to barbeque or vertical spit rotisserie I have tried Shawarma from up north to Windsor and everything in between

OMG Great Place! I Got The Chance To Sit With Owner… She’s A Beautiful Soul. She Shouldn’t Change A Thing About Herself. Extremely Clean Place. Awesome Food! Although I Didn’t So Much Enjoy The Rice, I Was Glad I Got To Enjoy Something I Know Was Authentic. Anyhow, The Rest Of The Food Was Overly Perfect & Delicious. Fresh, Crisp & I Would Eat Here Everyday If I Could.

Food is excellent, staff are friendly. Went in without a reservation but the owner found a spot for us anyway.
Calamari is cooked excellently, very tender. I'm more of a crispy breading kind of person, but this was still delicious.
We also got the gyro platter and the souvlaki combo. Gyro is fantastic, chicken/pork souvlaki is very solid, and vegetables (carrot/parsnip/broccoli) are seasoned beautifully and cooked al dente.
Tzaziki that comes with all the dishes is amazing.
Only minor miss was that I found the roasted potato a little dry/had a bit of leathery crust.
Prices are a bit high, but despite that, would still highly recommend this restaurant - it's no wonder it's so popular.

Amazing appetizers and great overall meal. We had the appetizer platter with 2 dips, olives and feta and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
The atmosphere made it a beautiful evening. My husband made a great effort for our first time here together. Disappointed that for the price we paid the only thing we can taste was Salt!! The Greek salad was superb. Would go back for the salad and the ambience.
Avoid at all costs - portions are pathetic and nothing like shown on pictures, fries are bland and unseasoned, most disappointing meal I've had in a long time. I rarely review restaurants but I felt an obligation to warn others about this scam of a restaurant.
I have not reviewed many restaurants on google but bic souvlaki was a terrible experience. Food portions are absolutely tiny and the food is not very good at all. Staff is unfriendly and kitchen is dirty.

I enjoyed some fresh bread and butter to start. Then, my server brought me Saganaki (a fried cheese appetizer) and lit it on fire! They have a tradition where they get you to shout “Opa” three times while watching the flame. The fried cheese was sour and tangy in a good way. It reminds me of Gouda.
For my main, I chose the classic Chicken Breast Souvlaki in a pita. The pita was everything I hoped for. Rice and a salad came on the side.
My dinner ended with an intriguing dessert: a custard cake with honey. I loved this. The cake had crystallized sugar on top. They also usually serve this with cinnamon.
I felt right at home with their atmosphere. The two thematic colours are white and light blue. They had a Greek radio station playing on their stereos, and I jammed to upbeat music.
My bill came to $56.

Me and my girlfriend had beef skewers, medium rare. The meat was flavourful and so tender. It was very good.
The server, Claire was very informative and nice. The environment was very very welcoming. Her wine recommendation was genuinely appreciated as well.
My girlfriend came to visit me from the US for a couple of days and I am so glad we found this place. We will come back for sure. Absolutely recommending this hidden gem.

Smallest chicken skewers I've ever seen in my life. Looks nothing like the photos. What a rip
Not enough good things to say! We were in London for my son’s hockey and wanted to try Mythic Grill based on the reviews! Service exceeded expectations from helping us find the place to getting us seated quickly and comfortably since we didn’t have a reservation. The food and portions did not disappoint and we were definitely starving! The dishes were authentic and all were well prepared and presented. If I’m back in London, won’t hesitate to call ahead and make a reservation (-:
I rarely rate businesses poorly but the new management is doing a horrible job. From the quality and quantity and price of food for what you're getting to the way they are responding to these reviews are abhorrent. Will not spend a dime here again and encourage others to do the same. Also, it's not racist to point out that a Greek restaurant is no longer being run by Greek people. That's definitely a reg flag 🚩🚩🚩

As the other recent review stated they have small portion sizes and charge 1/3 more since the recent sale of the business. so for the people to say since 1979 is a lie. it’s now middle eastern run and not locally owned or operated (response to owner) not the same recipe as Sammy Slovaki are u out of your mind ? , the last owners had respect for the very people who are helping them stay in business. unlike you. what a disgusting reply I really hope others see your response and choose to give there money to a locally owned business with manners and respect for there customers

I eat here every weekend, the shawarma platter is absolutely amazing! the price totally worh it!

I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. The serving size was large. The food was good with quality ingredients. It was prepared quickly. The reason a star is missing is that the price was the highest I've paid in Ontario for similar meals.
The quality of the food is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's fresh and other times it's horrible. Customer service is really bad. There is a guy who is one the managers and he's extremely rude. Not only to me, but others Ive witnessed.
I've been going here for years and years. All the staff is super friendly and beyond accommodating and helpful when it comes to putting together the perfect meal. The portion sizes are huge, and the prices are great. I've never had a bad meal or bad experience here. If you like this kind of food definitely go here. And if you're not sure if you like this kind of food go and try it. They will set you up with a fantastic giant meal that won't break the bank
I tried to order a spinach cheese pie and they said they have some but can’t sell it unless I buy the entire meal. A customer is a customer and if we request to purchase something on your menu, you shouldn’t say no - waiting for a hypothetical customer to come and buy it with a meal. We have ordered take out from here through the entire pandemic and it was our go to when at the mall. But - you’ve lost customers now if this is the way you treat your customers.

Super tasty Greek food. Decor and service were both nice, with some theatrical flair for the fried cheese. Pita bread was excellent, as was the calamari. I was slightly disappointed by the souvlaki - mostly by the quantity. You definitely have to order an extra dish to fill up, resulting in a lower bang for your buck than comparable restaurants. Still great and worth a visit!
Honestly, I'm shocked at how good this food was and how much there was. The salad and dressing is unreal with shredded cheese on top... then rice and potatoes, both great, and meat with a side of tzatziki. I could barely finish it and nothing deep fried, only $12! Very impressed.
Most amazing dinner date I have ever had with my son hands down. The staff was so inviting and pleasant and made my son feel so included. We laughed and smiled all through dinner. The food was fresh and the portions were so amazing. Highly recommend. We are going to become regulars :)
I would like you to imagine for a moment a severely crowded mall with 30 different fast food nooks surrounding you as your in the middle of Masonville Mall food court London. WHAT DO I DO?!..WHERE DO I GO?!..WHAT DO I EAT?!. Look no further than Jimmy the Greek. A family owned business in London with five star cuisine. I took photos of my Lamb dinner. It was served in a styrofoam container that closed. I thought chef Rames made it. The lamb fell off the bone. The rice was steamed perfectly and the greek salad was to die for. I couldn't believe the quality of the food. It was hot and very flavorful. The thing I appreciated was that you can see them cook everything. The five who were working, were like a factory assembly line, they were that efficient. While we had our dinner 68 people were served.

Changed review from 5 stars to 1 star. Can't believe how downhill the quality and quanity of food has gotten here. Not worth it at all. Sad to see it turn this way. Small portions
What a fun family owned and operated restaurant in London Ontario. The dining areas are uniquely bright and vibrant, the fun is delicious, and the service is extremely inviting. I guess some may feel it is a little pricey, but the overall package if what we got for our money, we were pleased. The fried calamari and saganaki, in particular, were absolutely perfectly done. Will come back next time we are in London.
Tasteless food and overcooked food. Rubbery chicken. No seasoning or green dressing. This is absolutely NOT how Greek food tastes.

Disgusting. Food was cold and old. My chicken was not cooked properly and felt like rubber. The place it self was dirty, disorganized and filthy. Everyone was speaking Arabic and nobody seemed to speak English. Made us repeat and repeat and still got the order wrong. Please speak English while serving customers. I don’t know what you just gossiped. Pay more attention to cleanliness, health and safety. I won’t be returning to your dirty fast food restaurant. Nasty place and food.
My go-to place in Masonville mall for food. The service is fast, and the food is bloody good. I've tried all veg and chicken varieties from the place and I just love them.
It is a good mall food option. I would consider it a little bit over priced. I would really love if they knocked off couple dollars or include a drink with the meal. The gyros meat should be more for this price. It taste good to be honest. I would be a regular customer if the prices were lower.
