It was our first time in Dione but I'm sure that we will back here when we will be in the neighborhood. Great place to chill and eat. We got our meals very fast, portions were quite large, the staff was helpful and friendly. We hit on a pretty sunny and warm day so we could spend the afternoon on the restaurant terrace. Definitely recommend.

First time at Dione Restaurant, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was of excellent quality, well cooked and plentiful. The atmosphere was cosy but not crowded. Excellent place to visit.

We really like this Greek restaurant, great food and nice atmosphere. Good value for money too.

We came in without reservation and got one of the last tables.
Ordered our dinner and after a few minutes a salad was placed on the table.
Well it could be better described as lettuce with a few red beans and a sprinkling of corn heavily covered in some kind of salad cream or whisky sauce. Did not resemble a Greek salad in any way. No cucumber, no tomatoes or olives or anything. Just mainly lettuce covered in sauce. A nice Greek salad with tomatoes and some olives and an olive oil and vinegar dressing would have been more appreciated.

Then about 30 min later the main course was served. A rather small portion of gyros with a small bifteki accompanied by fries, one slice of tomato and a small spoon full of tzatziki.
Being rather hungry, the portions were too small for me.
2nd dish was a larger bifteki filled with olive leaves and a little goats cheese and fries. The filling of this bifteki was also rather small. Most of it was olive leaves and minced meat.
The meat in both dishes was very salty, and could have done with less salt. I understand that this is a way to sell more drinks but heavy salt use can be dangerous in the long term.

After finishing the meal, we asked for the bill and after paying with a larger banknote, I had to specifically ask for the change. If I hadn't, it most likely would not have been returned.

Be aware that when busy, parking can be difficult near the restaurant.

All in all, the meal was of mediocre quality and the portions too small.
Friendly young waitress was helpful but I did not get the friendly vibe from the rest of the staff unfortunately.

Friendly, clean, good moussaka, they never make you feel hurried and take time to check if everything is to your satisfaction ✨️

We often go to Greece palace and it’s a great place to go for a good dinner!

I would recommend the “spezial teller” since it’s a decent plate with good variety of meat!

The staff is very friendly and even though it’s very busy most of the time the quality is always good and the waiting times are acceptable (max. 30 minutes in my experience). So I would definitely recommend this place!

On our way home we were looking for a restaurant. Told out navigation to find us a Greek one. We were pleasantly surprised. Very nice food, good retsina and very friendly staff. What more do you want while on the road.
BTW 1 glass of retsina and 1 ouzo should be OK but I agree no alcoholics would have been best.

Friendly service. Food was not good though. Very overcooked beans. The moussaka was a bit burned and not tasty. The lamb was okay.
I would not come back for the food. Glad the pricing was quite friendly.
Also quite old fashioned not to have a few vegetarian dishes on the menu.

If you wanna eat delicious griek food, you should try it in here. People are very kind, delicious food, clean restaurant and the portion of food make your belly full.

But sadly dont expect your food will be ready on table in 20 minuets, gonna take a while but its worth it, because they are freshly made.

I wanna give full 5 stars, but i have to give 4 stars, why?
Because i wish they could fix their own parking lot, so many holes and not flat surface, so imagine if you go there on a bad rainy day, your car gonna full with mud and careful where you gonna walk, not suitable for disable people or people with wheelchair.

But if you dont care so much about muddy surface, just go and eat here, its worth it.

Cosy Greek restaurant with charming old school interior and a beautiful hidden garden. Owners and staff are super friendly, food is good. As a vegetarian, there isn't a lot to choose: a veggie moussaka or other vegetarian main dish would be nice. But you can create your own veggie dish with starters, salads, soups and side dishes.

Good food, very flexible, despite we had to cancel our visit. If turned out we could also take our dinner home. So we could enjoy our meal together with our sick companion.

Poseidon renovated in 2017/2018. It's a nice Greece restaurant, nice host (Greek, also speaks well German). Lots of local Dutch people cross the border in the weekend to visit this restaurant. It's especially for meat lovers. Most of the time you get a homemade schnapps afterwards from the house.

Great food for a great price! Service is friendly and fast. The mixed grill dishes have tender juicy meat and are seasoned very well. The fried sardines and mussels are delicious to! You get a salad bowl before the main course and big portions at this restaurant. We loved it.

The best all-you-can-eat shrimps in Kaldenkirchen.

Poseidon is sandwiched between Olympia and Rustika in the same street, and it is small and cosy. A bit more affordable than Olympia for example, but with the amount of Greek restaurants in Kaldenkirchen, there are better choices out there.

A fancy-looking restaurant on the border road linking Tegelen and Nettetal, you will definitely pass here when driving to Germany to fill your car tank. Friendly staff and quite good food.

This is a cute Greek restaurant, the staff and owners are very friendly. This place gets busy so service is not speedy, but they don't ignore you either. The food was tasty too. My only complaint is there is no English (or Dutch and it's right on the boarder) menu so it's a surprise what you order 😉

Great dishes in Greek style with good tzaziki sauce. Tip: lam dishes or the grill teller.
