Top European restaurants in Gothenburg, Sweden

Service was rude. We paid $20 for 2 beers that I had to ask to fill to the top. Then we got in trouble for taking too many napkins lol. The man working was very condescending and seemingly racist/ableist. The girl was nice though. If you want to visit a welcoming Swedish bar this is not it.

Recommend the asparagus starter!

The food was good and the service was fine. No problems at all. I was dissatisfied with the portion size: I got a white asparagus appetizer for 140 SEK, which consisted of a single thin asparagus sliced in two halves with some sauce and other accompaniments. It was weird and too tiny, but still delicious.

Outstanding restaurant in Gothenburg! Great service with friendly and helpful staff, amazing and delicious food (I had the burrata pasta and my partner the oxfilé, and we both were delighted!). The starters were also delicious (pilgrimsmusslor and svamp croquetter)! Great house wine (red and sparkling)! Nice atmosphere with good music! We will definitely go back and this is definitely our new favourite restaurant in town! Super recommended!

i don’t know if on other days it varies but you better book a table. we were told we had to wait 40 minutes for our meals lol. worth the wait as the food was really good & would’ve given a 4 if my meat wasn’t burnt. lovely staff, we were treated nicely.

Well how should I start 😊
We had three different cheeses as a starter
All of them were absolutely delicious and they went so smooth with a bottle of burgans albariño. Then a plate of gnocchi with veggies and a plate of hake fish with pea puree, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The fish was cooked incredibly good, so juicy and a good couple with the underlying acidic sauce. Perfect harmony! Gnocchi was also way above our expectations. For the closure we shared the chocolate paste with an ice cream

In summary this place deserves 5 stars for sure.

I also want to add that we were also very satisfied with the service and all waiters were very friendly.

Solid, honest cooking inn a casual, cozy environment. Service was friendly and welcoming. The menu is short, but every dish is screaming to be ordered. The wine list will never won awards, but it is simple and well priced. Well worth a visit!

Really great food! Took classic dishes and cooked them to perfection. The atmosphere is very laid back with a clean design. Very cosy and also friendly waiters. The desserts were quite small, so definitely only for one person, but they were quite good!
