Your park rangers are a tiny bit duhhhhh and bad at their jobs. Only do anything when there’s a blaring need, otherwise just sit in their cars lazy diddling with their phones.
One of my go to trails as it has a lot of options.
This is an amazingly maintained park, it’s not a state park. It’s the biggest park in the east coast with more than 2000 acres of land!
The parking is plenty, have clean portable restrooms nearby! There’s tennis court, miniature train rides ( every 2nd Sunday of the month and it’s free, but you can donate) but it is closed till April now. The park is very clean, and it’s so beautiful. There’s a mansion here which also has a museum.
There are so many trails, very good for hiking. Try visiting the old chapel, nature centre, labyrinth!
It has so much of hidden gems, you will find in the park. Like an old fallen oak landmark, some natural music instruments. They are many open grounds here, we even flew our drone here.
Don’t miss this if you are in the area!
City needs to clean up the trash, and a fallen tree cuts the path short. Could be beautiful if city cared.

I love this trail. Some parts of it are hard to believe you're in an urban area. I had not ridden the trail for some time and didn't recall some of the forks and turns. I'm sure glad I downloaded the TrailLink app. It was very helpful getting back to our parrking spot, which was a different spot from the last time I rode the trail.
Ok park , the drive up the parking lot was sketchy and was littered with trash. I would not recommend walking this trail alone; overall decent enough for hiking.
Very beautiful and peaceful.

This was my very first visit there for a surprise picnic gathering to celebrate a friend's daughter graduation. I enjoyed some of the landscape, scenic views and the fact that there was a playground for children. I also really appreciate the convenience of a brick and mortar restroom on the grounds. So for me this was a good outing.
I attended an festivity at this part and was surprised at the amount of underwear hanging in the bushes. Other than that the park was clean and I love that fact that they were so many places to beat.. Even real toilet.... Working toilets.... My cousin and I had a good time, we enjoyed the live performance, food and we also did some shopping. I would do this again and I do recommend this location.
I loved this 🏞️ park and trail when I was a child and it was always the go to place for family reunions and church cookouts and summer camp mini field trips. It would be nice; however, if we could help Baltimore County or City ( depending on the county and city lines) keep the park and trails clean by cleaning up the ground a little. So we can help Gwynns Falls Trail remind a beautiful jewel in our community. We have a major historical event associated with the Park 🏞️. It's our history.
beautiful trail in bmore that could use a little TLC! ☺️
I had no idea this lovely place existed! I cant believe I've never been here. Apparently the space known as Druid Hill/Gwynn Falls/Leakin Park is bigger than Central Park!
Good place for a stroll. Nice spacious park. Limited parking spots.

Love riding my bike through these trails. So much beautiful scenery to look at.
Surprising tranquil and remote feeling hike & bike trail in Baltimore. Medium level of maintenance, plan on getting a little muddy.

Wonderful park. Nicely keep trails. Beautiful bridges and an old mansion. Picnic areas that are clean. Nature Center with birds and reptiles and friendly, helpful staff. Streams and waterfalls. Parking and restrooms. Nice place to explore with family. it felt safe. I saw police patrol cars but I always go to ANY park with at least one other person. Only downside is that you can hear the traffic from route 70 in the distance but after awhile, you don't notice anymore. Truly an oasis from city life.
