Great views. Perfect for hiking and picnics. BBQ.
Relaxing walking trails, gets a bit steeper towards Flinders Peak but worth it for the views.

Beautiful place to hike. Short and easy. Beautiful scared spot and amazing view from top. For plane spotters, amazing angle for planes landing in Avalon with the backdrop of the bay.

Came here September 2023 ,

Beautiful park , did the East Track, Northern Range and Branding Yard Loop through the all trails app and was very fufilling

Could hear the birds , tons of great scenery , great workout . Quite a few people at the park , gets very busy on weekends and public holidays

Many of the people are friendly , met a few older people who come here regularly for the workout

Lots of picnic areas , few bbqs , lots of parking
Great exercise for the kids! We went when it was slightly showering and it was still good! Actually glad that it was cool!

Rocks can be slightly slippery so be careful and always stay on the path!

We only did 1 trail before the kids got tired but it was pretty cool.

Views when things cleared up where awesome too.

Saw a skink sunbathing in the rain which was funny. Maybe it was thirsty and the spider webs with raindrops on it was actually cool to see.
An easy skip and jump away from Geelong makes this one of my favourite weekend places to visit to get my hiking fix without having to travel all the way to Grampians. The You Yangs has more than enough trails to choose from and most present between a moderate to easy level of challengeness (probably not a word but lets go with it). If your visiting during the warmer weather make sure you've got some water on you if your planning to be more than an our. It can get quite warm and sweaty on the path, and no one wants to drink their own sweat by sucking their t-shirt dry.
There's a nice 5k trail here? Lovely views of the surrounding areas. Try visiting when it's sunny to see everything. My parents are pretty unfit but they managed to do the trail as well. There are public restrooms at the start of the trail as well. Bring some drinks and sandwiches because there's plenty of spots on the trail where you can sit. No camping allowed though.
Beautiful serene walking trail. We had an amazing weather and did the 1.5km walk. Not a steep climb. Easy walking for kids & adults alike. Plenty of free parking available. There is a parking ahead from the spot too which is where you can sit to eat.

There are 2 entrances to this hill. We missed the first route and ended at the second. The first one is for walking and the second route is for biking.
Thankfully one of the bikers guided us to the spot we missed.

Ensure that you carry your own food as there are no eateries for quite a distance.

Overall a beautiful trek with great views.
