Top State parks in Morlanwelz, Belgium

Incredible museum- I was there in the first place. The park, the nature the day was on the bright side. A quite good collection to see at a museum incredible for a free entrance museum that compensated the imbalance in art objects but to find a bust of emperor Trajan and few others artefacts Greek and Egyptian is astounding. Also the porcelain collection is impressive but manufacturing/technical artefacts could deserve a floor of their own.

Lovely park. Interesting statues and lovely blossom at the moment. Cafe unfriendly though, preventing chairs from being taken outside when not enough out there and not being used inside!

Calme et apaisant pour une bonne balade

A great museum. Somehow its much bigger on the inside than it looks. The lower exhibits showcase ancient items found in communities around the museum.

Very nice park, well maintained and full of very picturesque walking paths.

Amazing park including an interesting Museum. Worth the trip, but only on the rare Belgian days without rain (cf. pictures).

Pretty big place but not as big to accomodate so many people, the place was overcrowded, even in restaurant was not any free sitting place, parking is available in front door right beside the rush road so a little bit dangerous for kids, no wc, nothing for kids inside, grass was wet so it is better to just follow the paths, almost all interesting parts were fenced, but park is fine with many tall trees and full of paths, there are 2 small lakes with ducks and turtles

Le bois de Mariemont que l’on appelle également bois de l’Olive est composé d’une large étendue que l’on découvre à partir du parc de Mariemont et qui s’étire sur Morlanwelz, notamment aux abords de l’athenee.

Door een indrukwekkende dreef kom je bij het prachtige park, immens groot met kilometers wandelpaadjes langs oude bomen, beelden, gebouwtjes, vijvertjes en geurende bloemen en struiken.
