Playa El Arbolito (Arbolito Beach) is a spectacular beach in the Cabo Pulmo National Park area. The entrance fee is 50 pesos per person (as of June 2024) gives you access to pit toilets, parking and equipment for rent, as well as a small store on site. Come prepared, as the store is unpredictable with inventory.
Snorkeling is phenomenal and the beaches are just as impressive.

This beach is 5 kilometers south of Cabo Pulmo. While snorkeling, we saw tons of beautiful tropical fish, a few sea turtles, and green and spotted moray eels. The north part of the beach is fairly shallow and great for swimming. The reef starts on the south side of the beach just offshore. The roads in this area are packed sand and dirt.

Playa El Arbolito (Arbolito Beach) is definitely my favorite beach in the Cabo Pulmo National Park area. Pristine, clean, protected, untouched, tranquil, the list goes on. You will have to pay the entrance fee of 50 pesos per person (as of July 2023) which covers your parking and use of toilets, and helps locals maintain the beach. This is a fishing and camping site as well. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, I believe they live there taking care of the beach. There is nothing on it except nature and soulful peace, so make sure you bring enough drinking water, snacks and food with you. Even more important - please, make sure to pick up your trash and don't leave anything behind - there are plenty of trash bins at the parking lot. Another important tip - there are so many corals washed out on the beach, but don't be tempted to bring any with you, they are protected - it is a National Park and UNESCO heritage site after all. Sea turtles lay their eggs on this beach as well, and they are extremely protected species in Baja California Sur. So if you see any turtle bones, leave them as they are, unless you want to end up in jail (this is a friendly and relevant tip from a marine biologist). I can't emphasize this enough, so please don't forget you are just an observer here not a tourist, no matter where you're coming from. Enjoy, love and take care of this beauty for generations to come - you don't want to miss this spot, believe me!

Lovely little beach that was not very busy when we were there in April despite the perfect weather. Nice snorkeling at the south end of the beach. There was a small rental shop that had kayaks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits and buoyancy vests.

I don’t want to share this place but man! One of the top beaches or maybe best ever. Place was stunning did not want to leave. I think it was like 50 or 100 pesos per person. Beyond worth. The beach itself then it hiking trails with two destinations!!

Best snorkeling experience ever. Soooo many fishs. We also saw 2 turtles.
50 mxn fee per person to get in. 200 mxn for the complet snorkeling gear with floatation device. Take the highway 1 to get there, it's about 2h from San José.

Local beach 3 miles south of Cabo Pulmo. Water is calm. Great for snorkeling, rich with coral and schools of fish. We saw manta rays, bright colored blue, yellow, pink fish, large and small, Within 30 feet from the shore. This is by far our best snorkeling along the shore. We’ll check out a guided snorkel trip next time to helpfully see more corals.

Beautiful beach with good snorkeling and interesting place to explore the rock structures of the area. Check tide schedule for higher tide for snorkeling as the reef is very shallow at low tide.Off the main beach there are lots of little private alcoves. Not sure why some other reviews mention palapas and restaurant but I didn't find either. I did see showers, restroom trailer, and snorkeling rentals, and people camping in the parking lot. 50 peso entrance and open supposedly 9-6 but the guy rolled in at 9:35 to open the gate
Excellent place to visit what's not to like. A protected paradise of turquoise waters and white sand beaches.
Beautiful area for sailing and boating.
Amazing wildlife and water a must see
We love the area around Loreto because of the pristine beaches and the abundant sealife that can be seen via ship, boat, zodiac or diving. The town itself is very laid back and peaceful.
Loved this place the scenery the beaches the desert was breath taking so worth going to this place beautiful place in mexico
Inaldecio, aka "el Jarocho" our panga skipper is fantastic. He showed us all the wonderful spots to snorkel and swim. He even helped us buy a freshly caught fish directly from the fishermen.
Raw beauty of sun, water and rock dominate.
Under water colorful fish school around the rocky outcrops. On land there is a harsh beauty to life every plant survives by storing water and defending themselves with sharp spines or thorns. I love this place, memories provide peace in my mind as I commute daily with millions of others to be confined in cubicles.
