I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the 8-week swimming class my 3-year-old daughter attended. By the third week, she no longer enjoyed the class, and it became clear that she would not complete the session.

During the second week, I was contacted and informed that payment for the second session was due because the spots fill up quickly. Despite my reservations, I paid for the second session. However, my daughter did not complete the first session due to her strong dislike of the class.

I subsequently requested a refund, as my daughter is only 3 years old and cannot participate in the other sports offered, which require a minimum age of 5. I spoke with Supervisor Kayla, who assured me she would get back to me, but I have not received any follow-up. Additionally, my calls to the organization have gone unanswered.

The lack of communication and unprofessional behavior I have experienced is deeply concerning. This situation has been handled poorly and does not reflect well on your commitment to supporting the community.

Beautiful sports club next to Spring Creek Towers. Helpful, attentive staff. Three indoor pools. Huge equipment room with instruction. Boxing gym. Yoga. Basketball courts. And the place is kept spotless. Type of gym you would only expect in the city. Huge.

Excellent environment with state of the art of equipment. The staff is friendly and attentive. I must also mention how clean and spacious the facility is. Kudos!

Do NOT rent out the rooms for a party. The room was messy when I arrived (literally found a sock) and after we left it cleaner than we found it, they are keeping our deposit because we “scuffed the walls” this comes after a lady said the room looked great after we left. Staff was also very rude on the phone and is saying it is $200 for a scuff even though they refuse to show us photos!!

This place is huge, clean and my son loves basketball and swimming. The staff is nice and respectful

First day here and everything went well. The sign up process was smooth, the facility was clean and not too crowded. There's tons of amenities like a swimming pool, basketball court and sauna! The fitness area had all of the equipment necessary for a great workout, from strength training to cardio. As a plus there's also a free parking lot for members! I highly recommend this gym, no complaints at all.

I enjoyed our fall session for the 6-18 month babies. Even though we only took group classes, the instructors made sure every child received attention. The service is exemplary every staff member. I will definitely be back once my schedule allows.

My daughter started taking swim lessons there a week ago. With her first swimming instructor I was very disappointed. I then began to regret ever having put her in swim at the Brooklyn Sports Club. And then…something wonderful happened! When she went to her swim lesson today, she had a different instructor, and he was AWESOME. My daughter did so well! I no longer regret putting her in swim at the Brooklyn Sports Club. Thanks Instructor Dylan.👌

We brought our 4 year old for her first lesson.The swim instructor is good and patient and the front desk was mostly polite. What I don’t like is they don’t follow up to see if you want to re enroll before the semester is finished and by the time you’re ready it’s full. They are not really organized in my opinion. I had to find another place for my daughter so she can continue to learn since she’s still new at swimming. Thankfully found somewhere with ongoing enrollment and monthly charges instead of semester.

I love the front desk staff! and I love my daughter's swim instructor Dez, my daughter has been swimming there for some years now and she loves it i hope they continue to improve the sign up and registering for class because she really wants to be a pro swimmer and i think of she continues every week she'll be there soon it really helps with her safety concerns been here for about 3-4 yrs even when she was a baby previously and took classes myself they need more classes bc it fills up quick

My children attend BKLA for swimming lessons and I am so impressed with how much they have learned. The swimming instructors are so patient and gentle with them and they feel very comfortable going into the water. Overall, the staff are super friendly and Dave at the front desk always greets you with a smile and is willing to answer any questions you have.

My daughter has been going to this swim school for the past 8 weeks and has shown a lot of progress. The swim instructors are very professional and very on top of everything. I also love the fact that we could watch her from the sidelines as she learns to swim, and cheer her on. I would highly recommend!

My 6yr old daughter started swim lessons here for the Spring session as a beginner. She loves her instructor (Ms. Jess) and enjoys learning to swim here. The facility is clean and seems well managed and the water is a comfortable temperature for my daughter. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming here especially David who is very often at the front to greet us as we enter or picks up the phone to answer any of my questions. I would definitely recommend BKLA swim Academy if you’re interested in swim lessons for your little one.

So happy that I found this swim Academy for me and my sons to take private lessons. I'm an adult beginner who didn't even know how to breathe right underwater. My sons never learn to swim as kids but we all decided as a family to learn how to swim. Francis and his staff are very friendly, organized, and patient. In addition to loving the class, the director Francis been very patient in working around my youngest son work schedule. Because of that each time I have spoken to someone they have always been courteous and helpful. Shawn our instructor is very knowledgeable about teaching the fundamentals. He has been very patient and motivating in helping us reach each level of our abilities. I would Highly recommend the Swim Academy.

This sports/fitness facility is located behind Starrett City, notable as an event venue as well. Most staff was very helpful and accommodating during the annual hat show/pageant.
The building is well lit with natural lighting and equipped for accessibility.
