This place has seen better days , the building is currently under renovation and the actively open period is only during the summer because it's an outdoor pool. The picture showing only grass and trees is an outlier of this fact.

As of time of this review (29 August 2023), the Natatorium building itself is *still* not open - I have no idea if there's any plans to reopen it, but it closed down pre-pandemic and it doesn't seem like anything is happening in there (please someone tell me there is???). Now instead of locker rooms and actual bathrooms, you have porta-potties that double as changing stalls, fenced in by ugly temporary chain-link fencing. The deep pool was closed this year (not the first time!), making the others more crowded. You're lucky if you find a spot to settle that's not full-sun concrete. Food and drink aren't allowed either (I get it, but still...), so if you're hungry, you can leave to sit at one of the janky picnic tables just outside the entrance, or leave altogether. Overall, it has SO much potential - just all wasted.
Great pool. Looking for a good outdoor pool where you can swim in the deep end though. Diving was fun though I guess.
Great swimming pool. It wasn't crowded when we went and we had a lovely swim!

When arriving, go around the building and pool to the back where you'll find the entrance. Access is free.

The main pool is big and the water is not very deep (about 1.2 metres). There is a separate deep bassin but it's closed for repairs at the moment. There is a section with shallow water for toddlers. There are some grassy areas with chairs to relax in near the pool and some trees for shade.

Since the building is closed, there are no locker rooms for changing. There are only mobile bathroom trailers, with limited space inside the stalls.
Lifeguards are rude.dont speak English. All they care about is talking to each other. When it is closing time 20 minutes before they don't look at water they look for head life guard to close pool. They tell kids not to run but they all run around the pool like they are kids chasing each other.

It is free. That is the only positive thing about this place. Only one large shallow pool and a kid's wading pool. The deep pool is completely drained and seems permanently closed. No lockers. Bathrooms are portable. The city of Verdun has let this one time glorious swimming and diving venue fall into a shadow of it's glorious past

The once famous roof that boasted a great casse croute and a place to hang out after a day or night of swimming has also permanently closed.

Very disappointing. But it is free.
gave birth to my first child in that pool. very friendly staff.
Very nice accessible public pool a lot of space and close to shore of saint laurent river. In the very next you can rent kayaks. No food business in the area but there has nice place for bbq
Nice pool, relatively clean, Life guards are a little young but very alert and vigilant.
Love this pool! It's right off the water and bike path, where you can picnic, play sports, rent paddle boats and canoe's etc... It's 3 big pools, 1 for little kids with sprinklers, 1 deep pool for diving, and one huge pool for laps and leisure. And it's Free!!!
Pool with lifeguards, for free! What more could you want? The slide is not working right now, but there is some shade under the trees. Everyone is very friendly.

Amazing pool to go refresh.
Life guards are very attentative and are doing a great job however the bathrooms are horrible / dirty. The pool badley needed to be skimmed it was full of dead bugs. I guess you can't expect much for a free entrance. No designated spot for eating, you can't eat at all on the premises. No pic nic tables. Maybe 2 or 3 lawn chairs.
It's a nice pool to just relax on the grass and grab some sunshine. Very crowded on hot days obviously.
Nice swimming pool, there is a pool for babies as well. No food allowed, but very close by there are few places where to get food.
Basic but nice outdoor pool. Great for the kids to chill and cool off on a hot day. There is also a grassy area near the pool for lying around in the sun. Lifeguards were very attentive and doing a fantastic job.
Nice pool, but they really need shower curtains for their changing stalls. No privacy as it is. Fathers with young daughters come in the women's locker room, as well as male life guards.
