So glad I finally visited the viral, women-only Hammam spa in London, and I can confidently say it lives up to the hype and more. A traditional Hammam experience - From the black soap scrub, to deep Kessa mitt scrub, full-body clay mask & facial, to the honey hair mask, sauna & massage - every step left me feeling like I’d shed layers of stress and was completely renewed.
The staff here are absolutely wonderful—so warm, caring, and with a great sense of humour, they make you feel genuinely at home. Loved the Moroccan mint tea at the end of the treatment as my friend and I relaxed in the lounge. My skin was glowing and I felt so relaxed, will definitely be visiting again. The perfect relaxing escape in the heart of London, I can’t recommend Casa Spa enough.

Had the most amazing experience at Casa Spa. We booked the Escape package for a group of 5. We traveled 1hour to get there and were lucky to find parking in front of the shop. All the staff were lovely and so accommodating. The atmosphere was so peaceful and felt so safe as its ladies only. We felt like a new person walking out. Thank you for the amazing experience. Can’t wait to go back!

After returning from Morocco, I had been looking for a London-based hammam for a while and decided to try this place out after hearing good reviews from friends. For the price, it’s reasonable – you get what you pay for, and the services aren’t bad. The ladies working here are very welcoming, and I appreciated that it’s a ladies-only spa, which adds a nice level of comfort.
I would suggest a slight improvement in the steam room, as the flow can sometimes be intense and a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re a bit claustrophobic. Overall, it’s not a bad experience if you’re looking for a London hammam at a fair price.

First time I tried after recommendation. Very impressed from the start, professional throughout and most definitely will make it a monthly treat. Visited Hammam abroad this is very much as good. Loved the steam room and found treatment impressive.

A wonderful experience at the hands of the lovely Muna! The treatment was first class and very relaxing. Muna made sure we were comfortable and relaxed throughout! Would definitely recommend!
I was looking for a traditional Hammam and a massage place to go for such a long time in the U.K. and I found this place on google search and I am glad that I did. The place, the staff and the service is great and it is a very clean, decent place. I can’t thank enough to the staff who looked after me and the other clients really well, they go above and beyond when it comes to service. The massage was great too which I had been longing it for a while. I felt pampered, relaxed and refreshed after the whole experience. I will definitely will continue going there on a regular basis. I highly recommend it if you are a person that likes to go to Hammam and have a massage regularly for a treat for self care, pampering and relaxation. Thank you for the great service and care. I look forward to booking my next appointment.

I had an unforgettable experience at Casa Spa today with their Escape Experience for two. It was exactly what I needed. This traditional Hamam experience in London is so authentic and I loved every bit of it.
Karima and Dunya were absolutely amazing, and the massage was delightful. The black soap scrub, honey mask, and mud mask treatments were incredibly rejuvenating. The entire experience was extraordinary, and I can't wait to return soon!

For those of you who want a ‘4* hotel spa’ experience this is not the place for you. But this is an authentic Moroccan or Turkish Hamam where you get an amazing body scrub.

The spa experience was smooth start to finish, we were guided and taken care of exceptional well by Karima amd Hind who showed us friendly behaviour and professionalism. The scrub Karima gave me was so invigorating and refreshing . I especially enjoyed the all over body mud mask which left my skin moisturised and soft for days to come. The hair mask gave my hair volume even after shampooing days latter.. Then we dried off whilst we relaxed sipping mint tea. Worth every penny spent here exceptional quality service and customer care. 👌
I had the most amazing spa day here with my friend! The service was professional, the girls were soooo lovely and everything about this place reminded me of my trip to Morocco 🇲🇦

Today I experienced for the first time a face and skin treatment "Glow up & Go facial". It was a wonderful 30 mins of relaxation and I love how my skin felt and looked.
Nice environment and the people who work are super kind.

Always so welcoming and super high quality. They are so quick and kind with the waxes, over before you know it. And the manicure if the highest quality I have experienced. I’ve been loyal for five years now, once you come, you won’t want to go anywhere else.
I saw the reviews and was hesitant to come here. All the women were friendly however as the reviews say, it is not a clean place. It’s very very small and the “changing room” is ridiculous.
I feel like the massages were done by women who are not trained and just doing anything. The worst part is laying on the stone and feeling like a wet fish. It’s not comfortable setting and you would assume if you are paying for a massage session it would have more privacy.
Lastly, after the session I was expecting a massage with oil but we were told thank you all done. I also noticed they use gloves when doing the massages and the same dirty exfoliating glove on everyone!! Which is absolutely disgusting had to go home and bath many times after noticing.
Won’t be coming back it’s a real shame. Wowcher/Groupon needs to do something.

I just don’t have words for the amazing pedicure I’ve had in the Brazilian Soul Beauty ☺️ My feet were amazing at the end: perfect nails, perfect skin and the massage: OH MY GOD it is soooo good, I felt so relaxed 🧘🏼♀️✨

Got a much needed pedicure and it was one of my best experiences ever. For starters the environment was so relaxing and comfortable, everyone was super nice. Then there was a massage chair which was amazing!
My nails turned out so beautiful and my feet ended up so relaxed I could barely walk! 😅

Dania did a fantastic job with my nails once again, flawless with no chips after almost a month. There was a minor issue with the gel on my toes after my appointment. But I was seen quickly the next day and the issue was fixed in less than 5 mins. Lovely service! =)
Don’t have the £90 body massage. It is not worth it, you get scrubbed down in a cold room. Then moved to a tiny room, which was lovely and warm. But the person who gave it was totally lazy and I think hoping I would fall asleep.

I’ve been here a few times to have my brows done now and they always do an amazing job. Very good attention to detail and never take too much off. The wax doesn’t hurt as much as other places I’ve been and the lash dye doesn’t sting. I’ve had a pedicure here before as well and it was great. I got the more expensive one with a massage and it was well worth it for a bit of a treat. The massage was good and long and my toes were painted perfectly. Staff are always friendly.
The worst and the dirtiest place to be, this place have a price of £190. When I told them I can't use the Jacuzzi in this condition they offered a £10 refund 😄 by the way I requested a receipt and she said we cannot give receipt for the cash I insisted saying that is illegal and I was told this is what she is told to do.

I really enjoy my visits to this spa. It’s unique in its architecture and the sauna is one of the hottest around. In addition, there are two steam rooms, a cold plunge pool, and a warm room to relax in. On the ground floor, there are lots of loungers and tables/chairs if you want to eat or do some work. People have been coming here for decades, and there is a pleasant, inclusive atmosphere that always makes me feel at home. I always feel thoroughly cleansed and revitalised after a visit.
NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: My only criticism would be the towel situation. I believe they used to be included and should be again. It would make it so much more convenient, especially for the price you pay! Please sort it out soon.

Great place to recharge in sauna/hammam. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Don’t forget to bring your slippers and towels. Try their “warm” room, so relaxing to chill there with a book
I’m always super happy with the quality and finish of my nails! The skill and professionalism is unmatched! I’ve not been to any other salon that focuses so much on the little details. They are always friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is unmatched. Who knew getting your nails done could be so therapeutic and zen. I always go for the BIAB manicure as it ensures I can grow my own nails to a desired length without breakage. Last note, the colour selection is just *chef’s kiss* and they do chrome effects which I just can’t get enough of.

Beautifully relaxing! And a wonderful place to spend a few calm hours. I can only go at the weekend and was a bit miffed there is no time at the weekend for female only. So I went to the mixed day and I found it to be fine. Although it would be nice if Sat alternated between being male only and female only.
The place is not fancy but has character. Nice atmosphere. The facilities look old but generally clean and well maintained. There is one dry sauna, two steam rooms, one big and nice tepidarium, a plunge pool, and a big relaxation room with lounges that is also where the lockers are.
I went during the weekend on a men's day. Relatively busy but not too much. Generally quiet except for the occasional loud conversations among groups of what seemed to be regular customers. A big annoying but no big deal.
I liked that there is no specific etiquette in terms of what to wear. Some of the guys were wearing swimwear, some a towel. Some sat naked on their towel in the hot rooms. Everyone seemed to be (not) wearing what they were comfortable with and no one minded.
I’ve read several reviews complaining about rude / aggressive / untrained staff; on the day that I went, the staff were polite and friendly, except perhaps for one attendant who seemed to be staring bizarrely at me a couple of times, which I found vaguely uncomfortable.

Plenty fake 5 stars review. I absolutely agree with the 1 star rating comments about the low cleaning standards. As I went nearly 5 tiles per months I need to say that the staff is not motivated at all due to the low pay and HIGH turnover.. Like other comments say, there are better Man Spas in London.
After a few minutes I pay I had t leave so I asked for a refund. I ve been waiting since the 5th of October and I didn't receive any answer. It's just impossible to speak with anybody. I was told to wait a couple of days. I would also suggest to any other customer to visit The Covent Garden Man Spa, currently the cleanest sauna in London and they also have free cabins. The poor management and low cleaning standard of this venue made me stop spending my money there.

Dirty, facilities are often not working, lack of management and I got harassed MULTIPLE times by many older customers unexepectly touching me while I was only relaxing in the sauna. I didn't complain formally but I suggest them to put some signs to reminds customers that insisting touching people without consent is not allowed even in this venue but they didn't do anything.

My friend brought me here today for my birthday - had an amazing body scrub, foam massage, hair treatment and facial from Veronica. The premises are very clean, a proper Aladdins cave once your inside all the staff are super friendly and it ended with a complimentary Turkish tea to drink. We will definitely be coming back 👍
Just recently visited here , it was 22pounds entry. .. 22 pounds! Let me tell yarl when I say I wasn't ready I mean I was not ready!! After taking my first one rounder around the place all I could think about was my 22pounds.. I wouldn't go again if they paid me 22pounds what a sad, dated, soulless place, it was dead ! Squeaky hollow creaky floors, no life , fercilities wer working but not a very exciting place to be, old fashioned outdated needs a complete refurbishment sorry just my honest opinion please don't waste your money like me

In terms of help finding lost items, I sent an Email asking to see if they found any headphones that I lost with the charging case, they never replied and calling them doesn't help either if you don't have an extension code.
It took me coming back to the place the next day to confirm that even though they do keep lost and found items, my headphones weren't included.
Basically interacting with them for issues like lost items can be difficult.

I had an incredible experience at Pleasuredrome! The atmosphere was serene and spotlessly clean. The staff were not only welcoming but also very knowledgeable about their services. I felt truly pampered and relaxed during my visit.
A pretty nice sauna, friendly staff, and the bartender stopped serving me when I was a little too tipsy, kudos for that. From the guard to the receptionist, everyone was friendly. I got unlucky because the jacuzzi was under maintenance but I was warned beforehand. Would definitely recommend!
so, I read mixed reviews, and i was there some years ago , and figured I'd go again. could read in recent reviews that they now want £20 plus £3 (newish extra charge of u want an hour of privacy) ,, I show up and it's £23 plus £5 (they don't tell u about the 5 unless you ask). I'm surprised by some of the negative comments on here. I've visited twice (last summer) and expect to go again soon when in London. On my first visit the front desk guy was pleasant and helpful when I told him it was my first time there. My initial impression was very good and found everywhere looking clean. I certainly saw staff cleaning the floors regularly during both visits. The bar staff were efficient and friendly and it was a friendly crowd. I don't know about the private rooms upstairs but I wasn't intending to use one....there was plenty going on everywhere else!
Considering the cost of heating the place 24/7 (I imagine) I thought the entry price fair. I was, generally, favourably impressed and have no hesitation in going again.

I read the reviews after booking and was nervous about what to expect but decided to keep the booking....and I am so happy I did!! The staff was friendly and showed me around the area when I arrived. I also learned that I could use the large pool as part of my booking and they helped me reserve a spot. It's definitely not a luxury spa, but it's a perfect escape from the city life, especially on a gloomy day. I will definitely be back!
Good gym overall. Steam room hasn’t been working for a month. The team is very slow at fixing issues. There’s a quite weak communication from the team about it — you’ll have to investigate all yourself while they’ll charge full price and fail to offer anything to compensate

A fantastic gym with immaculate equipment, great amenities and wonderful staff, particularly my account manager Will, introductory personal trainer Bart and the receptionist.
The smoothies at the cafe are amazing! The eucalyptus towels and padlockless lockers are all lovely touches that go the extra mile.
However after 7 months I’ve cancelled my membership;
- Dysfunctional air conditioning (it makes workouts incredibly uncomfortable)
- Short opening hours (closed on Sundays)
- Poor relative value (a PureGym for 1/6th of the cost can offer AC and 24/7 hours)
Advise to management; please sort out the AC, it’s a joke and incredibly disappointing from such a high-calibre gym, it’s particularly become an issue since February, I’ve flagged it to multiple staff on numerous occasions.

You’d think paying over £200 a month for a gym would allow you a great service and amenities… but nope. Starting from the sales advisors being unreliable and changing their offers every week, telling you a fee then another, to have minimum or even zero customer service when you’d email for enquiring about payments/billings or any questions you’d have then. The classes and the trainers are great, although the morning ones all start before 8, it would be nice to have some at 8/8.30 too.

I joined 8 months ago and I've been loving the experience! The gym is very smart, and clean, and their classes are amazing - lots of options and brilliant instructors! I have to give a particular shout out to Francesco Calosci (Frank) who is welcoming and incredibly helpful - making my experience all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend joining
Awful place , the Brazilian on the desk is the rudest person I've ever met. Website states they close at 11pm with last entry being 10pm ..why was I asked to leave at.9.45 pm on a Thursday evening and the staff pretending they close at 10pm. Feel sorry for anyone that made the effort to go just before 10pm as you would have had a wasted journey. I wouldnt go back here if you paid me.

Equinox is a great gym. The equipment, staff and facilities are amazing. Super clean and almost feels like a spa. I love coming here.
I subscribed to Equinox Bishopsgate and attended the gym for a couple of days. I realised that it is overpriced, it doesn't offer enough classes and services and the opening hours are not convinient for my schedule. I cancelled my membership and it has been a month that i am waiting for the refund. I have to chase Equinox sales team to get my money back and it has not happened yet. Very disappointing experience and very low quality of service for the gym that positions itself as "exclusive". No regreats for having left this place.
Went to Sailor’s today and had a lovely relaxing time. I couldn’t stay for the food but I enjoyed plenty of eye candy earlier with friendly clientele. The staff was obviously attentive to the clientele, without being intrusive. Am definitely coming back , especially for Big and Cuddly Mondays.
Overall great option for sauna, steam and cold. If you like the hot/cold treatment this place has everything you need to relax and get a little time from the city bustle.

Last wk I asked the angry unpleasant s American man on desk if we cd have the cold sauna a bit hotter. For this I got a tirade of a abuse and told to sling my hook, I said if it’s cold there isn’t any point in it being open. Big mistake. I left last Monday and thanked him and he thanked me and we both said goodbye. Today I enter and he told me I’m barred for complaining and saying the whole place should be shut down, I didn’t say that but it didn’t matter.I been going for years but never again, to whoever pays the bill…he’s a liability
Had a great time there the staff were friendly i feel that some small parts of the place needs updating and one of the showers is cold but has the red sticker for hot small things in general someone who reviewed before complained about one of the staff not having good English hes English can do with improvement but i was able to communicate with him well enough. Someone also complained on a review about the sauna not being hot enough when i went there that was true but i just found a member of staff and they sorted it out right away. I also had some of there hot chicken wings they were great, im sure with a little bit of work the place will deserve a 5 star rating!
Sailors is great. Relaxed and easy going, nice variety of guys. Not so many “A gays” and plenty of real men. Deducted a star because it closes so early. Even on the weekends. I’m sure even a couple of hours later and you would draw a bigger crowd.
The receptionist was all smiles and very friendly. The 1 lady responsible for doing the treatments on the 4 customers there (during my visit) was good. However, everything felt rushed, there's no privacy where the 'bathing' is done (it's a mixed spa too) and some of the poor facilities take away from what should be a relaxing, refreshing experience.
No changing rooms, just 1 tiny locker cupboard for everyone to change in one at a time, a small steam room (any more than 3 people feels too much) and a tearoom/chill room with none of the refreshments supposedly included with the spa deals. A mere pinky cup size mint tea and a plate of Turkish delights that had been sat there for some time.

This was my first visit at the sauna. The lockers was good. But the showers downstairs were freezing cold and rest of the building was extremely cold. I was not happy at all. The sauna was really small and I nearly got burnt by the hot charcoal which was right near the doorway also I hit my head on the roof as I was about to sit on the second row bench. The steam room was also small. The rest room and private rooms were really nice n big for privacy. They can do with more heating and showers. The second floor had also showers but they weren’t working. The sailors closed on the 26th April this year for maintenance but nothing seemed to change. I was extremely disappointed when I visited the place. It was really quite and not many customers there. I met a few guys they were unhappy with the place and they were expressing their feelings about the place.
As a gym, it is somewhat spectacular. You get welcomed at personal level. Everyone is friendly. Food quality can be more tasty but it’s all healthy. Great vibe at the hangout area. Well done management. It’s a great start :)
I haven't visited this sauna for a couple of years. Not much has changed although it seems to be becoming even more dowdy (as can be seen by the gay flag on the roof). They are attempting to smarten the place up as when I was there the basement area was closed for painting.
It still has the same facilities, namely a small steam room, sauna and a rather uncomfortable Jacuzzi. The reception and lounge area is quite nice and comfortable and the staff are also very pleasant. Whilst I was there lots of cleaning was taking place.
The clients are of mixed ages although the majority are over 40 but there is also a nice ethnic mix. There were about 30 there during the couple of hours I was visiting on a Saturday afternoon.
The first floor is divided into various private rooms and there used to be an access to the external roof-garden/smoking area which is now locked. The top floor is divided into small cubicles as well as a large darkroom and the video can also be viewed on this floor, although the seating is very uncomfortable.
At £18 I consider that this is an overpriced venue bearing in mind its locality and how difficult it is to travel to the place unless you live in Central, East or South East London. They do still give concessions for the unemployed, under 25's and those with a Freedom Pass which may make it a little less expensive for those fortunates.
Probably isn't worth the visit unless you live close by.
