I suffer from chronic back and neck pain. I try to self care as much as possible but it always needs the additional help. I regularly go for acupuncture and it helps deter the spasms. I've been looking for at least a decent and good deep tissue massage for more than 6 years!!!
I'm relieved (no pun intended) to have found Belmont Shore Spa. Nancy is by far the best deep tissue I've had! Pressure is on point and relaxing, especially when she worked the complimentary hot stones. Plus they offer affordable rates and specials.
I will be returning as often as I possibly can.

Kelly gave a great Swedish massage! I was visiting the Queen Mary for a tour and decided to have a massage first. Oceana Day Spa showed up on my search. The massage relaxed all my muscles and Kelly was attentive to my requests, on which muscles needed to be massaged more. The atmosphere, including the background music, was very relaxing as well. I was pleased to know that they stay open late, so I can come in after work. I will be back!

I love this place it is very good. They give good massages that are very relaxing and soothing.
I've been coming here for years. It's conveniently located on 2nd street. I found my favorite in Mike. I'm sure the others are good as well. Very good pricing so tip well with your savings.
I have had so many great massages that provided greater range of motion, relaxation, and pain relief. All I can say about this was awkward and average. The spa facilities were somewhat tired. The shower was out of service and the table wobbled terribly. I also wasn’t told beforehand that I would be having a male masseuse. I don’t mind, but I have never not been told. Victor the therapist, felt very mechanical in his work. I am all for unconventional movements and techniques when they provide results, but I literally couldn’t tell any difference after the massage. It was a disappointing hour.
Dee Dee Thai Spa is my go to when I need a massage in Long Beach, they are the best. If you like deep tissue and Thai massage combo, I recommend Jenny, she is amazing!

Came here for my birthday and had a great time. Did the whole body scrub, 1 hour massage and end up with the hot tub. They serve champagne to accompany the experience. Will definitely come back here!
This place seems a little unconventional but their product is very good. I had a deep tissue massage from Stephanie she was great!
This place was friendly BUT they did not massage hands and feet, which is an important part of the massage. I had to ask for one but it was minimal and my friend whom I came with did not get one at all. They were very insistent on the tip when my friend expressed he was unhappy with the massage.
Nancy gave me the BEST deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. Thank you so much for helping me with all of my tension and knots from work, life, and sports. I will be coming back and referring everyone I know!

Lay was an amazing masseuse. I got the 60 minute Swedish massage and she found all of the right places to work. I feel so much more relaxed after this session. I would definitely recommend Dee Dee Thai Spa and request Lay if she is available!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I've been seeing Mike for the last 7 years. I see him at least once a month and he is beyond amazing. The pricing is awesome and being on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, it's nice to know you're getting the best of the best. Not gonna lie, one of my favorite parts is getting a bottle of water and a Hershey chocolate at the end.♡♡♡
Incredible experience. Loved every minute of it. Had a lot of stress in my back and the deep tissue massage set me straight. I would definitely come back and try something different. The hot rocks threw me off guard but thats because I didn’t know what to expect. It was my first time every getting a massage so this was incredible. 10/10

For a great, deep tissue old fashion, no frills massage, this is the best value for a massage anywhere! Just be ready to go to sleep, because it's so relaxing you will want to!!! Zzzzzz
This spot was recommended from the Westin Hotel in Long Beach since they don’t have facilities at their hotel. Since it was recommmended from such a large hotel - I figured it would have the normal spa feel and ammentities. (minus 1 star) It was Not in the best area of town at night, I took an Uber home after walking in. Went with the Spa soak, scrub, then massage and I was quite relaxed at the end of it all. Only thing that bugged me was there was no shower to rinse off at the end - I had to wait until I got back to my hotel. They had a sign on the shower closed for renovations. (minus 1 star) I would have skipped this spa if I had forewarning that I could not shower off after a treatment.
Dropped in for a deep tissue massage, and mentioned to focus on my shoulders right at the start. If this is considered “deep tissue”, it’s the lightest of touch - I’ve had deep tissue massages across OC and in various countries, this is at best a typical spa “pleases don’t apply too much pressure” type of massage - a hand glide at best.
Rates wise - seem reasonable initially till you see the multiple signs at the counter stipulating a MINIMUM 25% tip.
I saw the look of disappointment when I tipped 25% for the mediocre massage, which begs the question if these therapist are even reasonably allocated the base price to begin with. I left with a feeling that this is one of the many places riding on the insane tipping train we find ourselves in right now in this country. Also note, the minimum gratuity is not listed on the webpage.

The good: Prices and service are reasonable. The place is clean and well taken care of.
The bad: Parking is virtually impossible to find. However, we were able to park inside a garage, which I think is for employees only.
The ugly: Wife canceled 1 appointment out of two about 20 mins before appointment, and this is when things went wrong.
Strike 1: The scheduler got super mad. Even though my wife explained that her period had just started. She gave my wife a bad attitude anyway.
Strike 2: They took me into a room where I waited for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment at all. I felt like she was taking things out in me.
Strike 3: The lady working on my body said she had left some marks and I did not make a big deal, but when I got home, I saw a nasty scratch. (See pics).
I rate business frequently and take into consideration many factors such as customer service, pricing, parking, quality of goods, etc. I rate this place low because of bad customer service and a horrible attitude.

Be aware...
Put me in on tight notice - just be mindful it’s cash only. I got deep tissue and I’m a big guy but the women there are so friendly and really know what they are doing. I highly recommend this place. It’s around the side of the bakery and up a flight of stairs.
Easy to miss and don’t be fooled by the exterior. Lilia/Vilia (I couldn’t get her name but I need it!) is amazing. I will be coming back. Never left a massage feeling so relaxed and great.
This is THE BEST Spa in the South Bay. From the moment you walk in the door you feel at peace, like a weight has been lifted and that you will be safe and pampered.
The staff is AMAZING. I've been going here for years, I miss Alison (best massage ever) but everyone there still always exceeds my vision of what a DAY SPA should be.
It's like a second home.

This place is great! Diane always takes great care of her long time customers. We love coming here to relax and receive a reasonably priced massage. Ask for Julia!
Clean and respectful place. They accept walk ins which is a plus! It is calm and quiet inside, which sets the mood proper! All of the ladies in there are very nice and have very strong hands ( who can also massage lightly if you prefer) and will continue to give you a quality massage for the whole duration of the session that you pay for! Will be back for sure 😎
Nancy gave me an amazing massage and I was able to be seen same day for a MUCH NEEDED 90 minute massage therapy session. I have been dealing with chronic shoulder pain this past year and Nancy did a wonderful job focusing on the areas I needed help in and she made me feel comfortable. Very affordable price with a great masseuse. Included hot towels, hot stones, and a mix of massage technique. Tip well!

Okay, so we were not impressed at first. Kind of a run down part of town (we walked to it), small facility, and they were running behind. Once we got to the tub and settled in though, it was great. We did a couples tun and massage. The wine and champagne were served a little on the cold side so weren’t super tasty but we enjoyed them nonetheless! Chocolate covered strawberries and the end were fantastic!
Wonderful Spa, their service was great, and the space is beautiful/cozy. Thank you to Edward for the awesome customer service, and a special thank you to Nicole for the amazing massage, I’ll def be coming back!!
This is a great place for a Thai massage (probably any style of massage). I have been getting Thai style massage for years ( in Ontario) so when I get a good massage I know it. Price is good and the lady who gave me my massage was extremely skillful.
I could not wait to write this review! This place is great! I’ve been looking for a place to get a massage and this is it!!! Coco and cece (I hope I spelled her name right) are amazing. Feels like I’m in a home ☺️They’re so detailed, the hot stones are great and they make you feel GREAT once you’re off that massage bed! I will definitely be coming back. Thank you ladies SO MUCH!!
I have a lot of back issues and today I feel human for the first time in a long time. The massage therapist was so pleasant and thorough. She worked out a series of knots in my neck that have been there since as long as I can remember. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Loved the coconut scrub at the end. Will be back!
