I was scheduled to visit Santa Rosa from San Diego and needed to have some sentimental photos printed for family. Due to time constraints I wasn't able to use my usual lab in San Diego. I'm so glad I found The Lab through an online search. I ordered my prints online and they were ready for pickup when I arrived in Santa Rosa. The team was super friendly and courteous. Even though my job was super small I was treated with 5 star service. Yes, I could have used a same day photo lab at a drug store, but there is no way I would have gotten the print quality or service that I got at The Lab.

I’ve been in photography since 1965. I took and processed black and white for many years as well as slides. I worked as a b&w printer for a few years. Before digital I would use internegs to print my color slides.
I have no idea how long I have used The Lab- I remember it was previously owned by a fellow named Rick.
The Lab’s prints are a photo process- not ink. The reproduction (colors and shadow detail) is so much better. Also compare a photo process print to an ink one in 10 years- ink doesn’t last.
If you want an image reproduced to the highest level use Jennifer at The Lab. Her skill and honesty is of the highest level!

Walgreens great place for photo. Short staff so some patience required other than that there very helpful to make u have great experience and great photo.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover" certainly rings true in this case. Although the front has a post apocalyptic look once through the wheelchair accessible entrance doors I felt like Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz, in a whole new wonderous world.
The aisles are wheelchair friendly and for those items out of reach they have friendly retail staff members more than willing to give you a hand. Right now is Halloween season for those of you that love to spread the love by decorating for holidays, their Halloween decor and gags is A+. New tricks and lots of treats.
They have a huge variety of hair care products and cosmetics. If you are looking for clothes this store is not for you unless you're looking for socks.
The prices are a little more than I'm comfortable with, but it wont stop me from shopping at this CVS store. Also, self-checkout is available if you prefer to not wait in line. It's card only so no worries about exact change..

The Lab went above and beyond to ensure that my print would be as good as possible. I brought in a photo of a work of art that I had made and asked them to print it. They said they would, but asked if I could bring in the art itself so they could color match. I did. They called the next day and asked my permission to scan it for a slight fee (nowhere close to their regular price for a scan) because they couldn't get the print to replicate the original. When I picked up the print they made, I was amazed to notice that their print looked exactly like the original work of art, whereas what I had given them as a digital photo from which I thought they could work was nowhere near the right color.

Horrible customer service! Rude Asian lady at the photo center. Rude white lady at the register. The asian lady told me over the phone I was able to print out 8X10 photo in store today. Drove 5+ miles to print and she told me x
"no we are to busy." There was 3 people shopping including me. She made it very clear she didn't care to help me. Why tell me I can print if she wasn't even willing. The store was a mess and the atmosphere was depressing.

Great prices and super fast turn around but twice have lost our order and quality is just ok.

It took me over 2hrs to get my photos to upload and finally after almost throwing my phone n another hour meandering round store I had to ask what's taking so long try finally told e they were out of photo paper in the size I ordered n

Very disappointing. My prints weren’t much better than CVS but, of course, a lot more expensive. A couple of my prints were a total wash out even though I paid an extra $10 to correct one of them. “Fixing” prints seems to be based on lightening the whole photo instead of just the areas that need enhancement. I was promised an email when my re-print was ready but so far I heard nothing. I shan’t go back.
I am also sorry to say that the response from the owner is completely untrue. Best leave it there.

This is the BEST photo processing facility in the north bay. They use a Chromira printer and you will not see better colors, depth or clarity anywhere else. The owner sends you a proof to review before printing the hard copy. They can produce prints up to 30 inches. This service is not as cheap as labs like Cosco, but the difference in quality is that of having photos you would be proud to display in exhibits, to clients, look at daily in your own home as compared to hobby quality prints. I would always rather wait until I have the funds to get work finished through the LAB for superior quality.

Less rude than other Walgreens in the area. They are still understaffed at times

The work that was done for us was as expected but the price quoted was more than doubled when finished! I would definitely get it in writing, of which we did not get at time of order. Beware
