Great community garden! Lots of different trees and most are fruit bearing!
This is Home.The South Bronx.
Thank you.,.
Happy this exists but it is not open to the public. There are no volunteer days and it's difficult to reach anyone who organizes the garden for information.
A secret gem in Northeast Bronx
Very pretty flower and vegetable garden. Provides respite to locals from the stressful jungle which is the Boogie Down.
Beautiful space, with terrific people making it go.
The surrounding community including the elderly were able to use the garden but now it is so uninviting; controlled by a small group.
Pretty cool
Beautiful garden going through some massive upgrades!!!!
A good old garden. Green space for people to gather and enjoy. I am glad that it has survived Guilliani's bulldozers that destroyed 700 other community gardens.
Cute and structured to allow children run around all while parents sit to watch without losing sight of them.

Beautiful little park. It's open to the public and not just residents. There are events sometimes held there and teen-run farmers markets.

A private children's park operated by Amalgamated Cooperatives for residents use only.
Such a beautiful space. I'm happy I was invited to this gem and glad to see a educational space for people.to learn about urban gardening

Not sure what you can learn in this learning garden
I am a volunteer at this garden. It has been cleared, and cleaned by volunteers trying to better the area.
A green oasis in Bedford Park
Had an awesome screening of Vampires vs. The Bronx.

It's a nice park to take my son. It's in a very quiet area and it has the train, rock climbing, and slides.
A true gem for the community that distributes food and brings the community together.
Took my kids to the playground on this hot summer day. I love that the park area was nice and clean. The minute we got into the park, my kids got wet at the water sprinklers area. I sat nearby and watched them play. The best part for me was the nice cool breeze brought out by the surrounding trees and the cold water coming from the sprinklers. I will definitely be going to this park again.
Nice place 2 relax great staff

Nice area to bring young children. It has a few apparatus few kids to play. Not a big park. Just enough space for young kids to play or ride a bike.

My Son, Jay B Attends This School...
My daughter like to make new friends. We love the train just wish they would paint it to a more cheerful color. Or let the kids pait it that would be great.

for an infant friendly park, there some rough terrain if you have an infant. At a glimpse you would think this park is designed for infants and some toddlers but often and frequently this park is filled with juveniles(which they can go one more block up to Van Cortlandt which is suitable for their age) with disregard of fair play or safety with smaller kids, i.e. running at full speed, riding bikes (even though there is a sign that clearly says no bike riding), hauling ass on scooters, playing violently on the park slide which is clearly not design for kids 5 and over. Which leads me to my next concern for America's next sociopaths, there are various kids in this park with out any parent supervision (the parents are usually not paying attention to their kids) or guidance and they want to pick on the smaller ones which has happened on a few occasions and I've had to warn them with a stern voice since they want to disregard you. I've also noticed that some of this trouble kids happened to be of eastern european decent, so I don't know if they are raised to think that they can do whatever they want at public spaces or that that public parks only belong to them, I would hate to think they there wonderful parents are raising them to be racist (sarcasm) or to think that they are above other ethnicities.
CAUSE nice people AROUND
