My wife and I cannot recommend Esther enough! From the first time we met her at our engagement session to the day of our wedding, we knew we had made the best decision choosing her as our photographer. She is outgoing, fun to work with, very responsive, extremely professional and her work is top notch. My wife and I look at our pictures from that day frequently and they still bring tears to our eyes. She captured our day, the details, our family and friends, and most of all our love, absolutely perfectly. A good wedding photographer does such much more than just take pictures. I cannot imagine going through the wedding planning process without Esther!! Not only was she completely understanding when we needed to reschedule our engagement photos three times (on account of bad weather,) but she found us the most beautiful and private areas of Cape Ann to shoot at. We were ASTONISHED by her quick turnaround time and how beautiful the pictures turned out. We have received endless compliments on them, as she was able to perfectly capture our personalities and relationship.

Esther spent hours with me on the phone helping to establish my wedding timeline, answer my long list of questions, and figure out where I wanted to take our wedding photos. On the wedding day, Esther kept me calm and collected. Aside from her incredible professional abilities, she is such a kind and amiable person. We truly felt like she was our friend! We found ourselves a photographer for life and cannot imagine working with anyone else. If you're considering hiring Esther, please do. She was by far my favorite wedding vendor that we worked with!

Esther did the most amazing job photographing our outdoor Oct wedding (2021). If we could give her more than five stars we would! She was calming to have around and easy going and she miraculously got all the shots we had hoped for amidst wedding bustle while also capturing so many candid gems too. We can’t recommend her enough! And we look forward to working with her again for other special events.

Esther was beyond amazing to work with!! We are incredibly happy we found her. Before our wedding she was extremely organized, friendly, and flexible. Esther and her second shooter, Sam, were absolutely lovely to have around on the day of our wedding. I was unfortunately sick the day and Esther was extremely flexible about some necessary last minute changes to the schedule. I was so worried after the wedding that my being sick would cause us to have missed out on some of the pictures we had wanted. I couldn’t have been more wrong. She captured our day in a more beautiful way than I could have imagined. We are beyond happy with the photos she provided us.

We met Esther Mathieu through a Living Social deal and it was one of the best photo experiences we have ever had. Esther is patient when working with small children and did a great job prepping us for what we should bring to the photo shoot. She brought out the best in our son.

We had some difficulty and delays choosing our photos. She was extremely patient with us and was quick to resolve an issue we had with the photo CD well after we received the pictures, which were much better than we ever expected. The image and picture quality were phenomenal. We would definitely use Esther Mathieu Photography in the future and highly recommend her.

Esther took amazing photos for our daughter's first birthday!! In advance of the session she was available & shared advice on what to expect, what to wear, what to bring, etc. She met us on location at one of our favorite local parks and really worked well with our daughter to get some great shots. We were really impressed with the results and have a huge standout collage of some of our favorites hanging in our house - and we love it!! I would definitely use Esther again!
