I am usually quite happy with Shell staff, as most are really friendly and pleasant.

Today on the other hand, the young lady on the till was extremely rude and dismissive. As a loyal shell customer, I always scan the app. However, it seemed as if it was an inconvenience to her. Too busy worrying about her phone conversation rather than looking after customers. Retraining most definitely needed.

This place as really gone down hill. £20 for parking on a piece of concrete crawling with vermin at night due to overflowing bins. Showers, well wouldn't let my dog in it, and god knows what you would catch!
Prices in Garage are a rip off and have seen stuff for sale out of date. Used to be a good cafe as well but as now gone !

Not very good at all! They charge you £20 to park on a piece of concrete basically as the facilities are dreadful especially the toilet and showers. To be honest I wouldn’t wash a cat in there and there’s no cafe anymore just a shell garage with overpriced food and drinks RUBBISH!!.

Absolutely disgusting HGV driver facilities. Rip off prices, filthy showers, bins overflowing and not been emptied in months.

Used to be such a good place years ago, really sad to see this place so neglected and run down.

Friday evening 8/07/22 Pulled in to get a Costa on our travels, was refused service as he just couldn't be bothered. Just shook his head & said No! Obviously didn't need the business!

On the 1st February at around 1.30pm I popped into shell on the A38 for a costa coffee on my way to Wales . The cashier a small Indian man took my money and then started to lecture me on how I must be a racist for asking for a white coffee. At first I thought he was joking but he throw my change across the shop and scream at me to leave.

Truck stop with good sized cafe. You order and pay for your breakfast at counter and sit in the dining area awaiting its arrival. Food is good and reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Not too far from the M5 and traffic generally flows well outside. Sizable parking area.
