Why is this place even still open...Mac and cheese was burn left over from yesterday chicken wings was reheated greens salty as heck and from a can, apple pie was broken all up and store bought. Owner has a bad attitude and don't know how to speak to ppl. He covered up the window so you can't see his employees who look like ex junkies cooking the food I'm done with this place health dept needs to shut him down. Do not eat here its nothing soul food about this place you've been warned.
Sorry to share that this was my very first time dining here. I tried their other location and the food was delicious so I figured I give west Philadelphia a shot. The Mac & cheese was horrible with some funny taste to it, turkey wings were okay but the big turkey wing meat was hard and the small one was good. I asked for extra gravy and they gave me extra grease. " I came, I ate and I will not be back. The one thing I will say is the waiting area was clean. 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Food was delicious and customer service was great! The gentlemen that took my order was friendly and funny. I tried the lamb chop, fried chicken, cabbage, string beans, yams and Mac & cheese. Everything was finger licking good. 😋🤤
I would not recommend spending your money. Prices too high. I spent $19 for fried fish, bake Mac, and candied yams. I only got one piece of fish. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and the candied yams was watery. The cornbread was not even fully cooked in the middle. Woke up the next morning with food poisoning.
Shrimp and fries for $19. The worst. Shrimp are overcooked to the point the Shrimp is rubbery and the breading is black. Waste of time and money. First and last time. I do not recommend at all. I try to support african Americans but this is the worst. The person at the register was very polite. Cool dude.
I rarely leave reviews but I had to this time. My husband walked in and ordered 2 catfish platters with yams, mac, greens & potato salad. The sides were amazing that’s why I gave 3 stars but the fish was not catfish…it tasted like Swai or old whiting. It was chewy and hard to bite. I called and the young lady told me it had to be catfish because they don’t sell Swai so I said yes you do yall passing it off as catfish. Anyway check yall fish before you leave if you order catfish

First off let me start by saying I already knew from the way the platter looked when I got it it was gonna be nasty the fish had so many bones in it I couldn’t eat it the fish was falling apart The yams were horrible worst yams I ever tasted in my life then the Mac and cheese was so dry and burnt look like they gave me the bottom of the pan not to mention I ordered a side of collard greens and then gave me cabbage instead of calling me to ask what else I wanted since they didn’t have greens which had no flavor what so ever everything was so nasty I didn’t even eat it I’m pissed waste of money will never order from here again y’all need to do better!!!
Everything got done pretty fast, it was a nice amount of oxtails for the price and they were tender. Everything was seasoned well. The only thing is the fish didn’t taste like it was fish batter it seemed like fried chicken batter but it was still really good.
This spot has been one of my favorites in Philly. Fish was fresh, hot, and everything was full of flavor. Make sure to get the Mango Peach Tea! Delicious!!!

I was praying and hoping that this food was what the reviews had said (because I was REALLLY hungry today). I order a fried whiting platter w/Mac, greens and yams. Food was fresh, hot, fish crispy and moist. The seasoning was superb! To top it off the young woman at the front was very pleasant. I will visit again. Thank you for the service.

Ordered smothered turkey wings, highly disappointed because they put can gravy on them. They're supposed to be cooked in their own gravy. It's perfectly fine to add broth to it. Never again

Came to Philly for visit. A friend served us some food from Crafty Soul food. Damn that stuff was good. The next day I ordered the same meal of fish platter and shrimp platter with greens and Mac/cheese. Also got extra sweet potatoes. The only thing missing was cornbread. This place will be on the top of my list when visit again.
Food is great once they have whats on the menu, closed to much for my taste. Powerwash the outside, get friendly cashiers, add paint, and a few waiting benches outside and it will be the best place in the world.
This was my first and last time at this place. I will pay for good food. I cook myself so I appreciate a night off. I will say the gentleman that was at the counter was pleasant. The food not so much. The ribs were mushy and overly spicy and the baked mac and cheese was so salty. I won’t even comment on the potato salad. I threw the food away. A complete waste of $25. I love to support black owned businesses but for these prices and for the platter to be so small the food just needs to be cooked and taste way better.
I've gotten my dinner from here 2x now, and both times were phenomenal❣️ If you are in the mood for GREAT home cooked food with alot of variety, then THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU TO GO!! The cook, I don't know his name, but he is so personable and cares about his customers and how it is that THEY like their food. The young man that works the counter is inviting and greets you with a huge smile all of the time! I will be getting a platter a week until my next God appointed life 🍗🧀🥬🍪

I was turned off by the smell of roach spray immediately after entering the place. It's dark and worn out looking. The greens were salty, the mac-n-cheese old but the chicken (boneless breast) was okay and pricing reasonable. Would I ever return... NO!
Food great…. BUT!!!!! They never answer the food and it’s not even busy for them not too.. it’s like they forcing you to use Uber eats or door dash… or just come in and wait a while..
I've been wanting to go to the West Philadelphia location for a very long time. The photos on the website look very nice. I went to the restaurant recently and they were only doing take out. We could not dine in. It still looked nice. I hope to actually try food from this location one day.

The Turkey Meatballs were Amazing!
Couldn’t eat the fish because it was full of scales. I understand the bones but not the scales. The whole platter of could’ve use some more seasoning, even a little more salt would have helped.
I almost feel ashamed that I used to live within walking distance to this establishment and never knew about it. Thank goodness I am still not too far. Sadly, I feel like there aren't too many solid soul food places uptown that consistently answer the phone and / or have really good food. This place has both. Pictured is Swai, macaroni salad and string beans(so good) not Pictured are my kids' burgers they loved them, and my husband's catfish also very good. I shed a small tear because they were sold out of banana pudding lol.. Basically if you haven't been do yourself a favor and go!!

I took a chance on this place. I wanted soul food terribly and decided on this place. The young man who took my order was hot which must have caused him to forget to take my ticket back to start the order. They took my number to call me, but never did. So, when I went to see what was taking sooo long..There was my food on the pick-up rack. He must have still been hot or even hotter, because he said he didn't have a number to call me. I get home to this food and I was not impressed. Like at all. Won't be back not even by accident.

The owner was so sweet to let us get there last minute and the food tasted like it was made that instance. Yumi!! The cake was so soft. Get there before 10.
Ordered online for pick-up. Was charged, but when I went to pick up, restaurant was closed on Sunday afternoon. Looked liked it hadn't been opened for quite some time. Bad business. If shop isn't going to be open, site should be shut down for online orders.
I have never ordered from Soul Kitchen before, but I will in the future. The salmon was so good, not dry like I have had at other restaurants. I Loved the corn on cob and greens. The rice was good also, and I am not a big rice fan.

The atmosphere was amazing. They had a live dj playing great music, everyone was dancing having a good time. The hookah was bussin was well. They have a bunch of different flavors. Small hookah was $50 large one was $75. They also have so many diff brunch options. I got the meek mill which was their chicken and waffles. The wings were big and delicious. The waffles and thick and fully. They also have beef bacon which was delicious as well. The mimosa tower was $90. They do charge a $20 entry fee but you get a free mimosa with it. They are cash only for brunch as well. I think the food is worth the price and very delicious. The service fees were kinda out rageous but other then that everything was amazing
I’ve order from here plenty of times and never had any complaints until today. I placed an order on uber eats to have it delivered. A few minutes after ordering I was informed that the restaurant told uber eats we called to cancel. How could I even call to cancel if they don’t answer the phone? This is ridiculous
Soul food and it so good. The Mac and cheese is definitely a hit. The food is good and seasoned well. However they serve large wings. I personally don't like big wings. The one thing is the receptionist attitude. It has gotten better but it's not a friendly welcoming.
The entire platter was disgusting. I ordered baked Salmon, and it looks and taste barley done, and too pink in the middle. And only has a sprinkle of paprika on top as seasoning. 0/10. The rice and gravy is hard/stale yellow rice with clumpy flavorless gravy smothered on top. (You should also tell customer that they will be getting yellow rice and not white) The greens seemed singed and lacked seasoning as well.

Came before they were really open needed change for the bus, customer service was really nice, I bought a cake and water omg I am just getting to the cake it is amazing, and that’s a freaking understatement, strawberry cake so moist and the icing is amazing. This is a great cake I had to stop eating so I could leave this review my goodness they put their foot in this it’s amazing.
This is some of the worst food that I have ever had! We ordered 11 platters. They gave us six. Had we tasted any of the food, we would have asked for our money back for all if not the missing platters. We went back for the missing platters. They still forgot the fries. When we say down to eat as a family, the sides of rice were spoiled and smelled so bad. The fish was salty, the string beans were salty. Nobody could eat them. The broccoli was covered with pepper seeds. Why?! I was afraid to eat it for fear that it was spoiled too. It was also covered with crushed garlic but I could not taste it, at all! We have three bathrooms and all of them got a workout after our meals. I just flew in this evening and I was so hungry. I should have had wind sauce and air pudding instead. The turkey chops were just slices of fried turkey breast, that was not tasty. After a week of traveling and eating on the road, I sometimes need a cleaning out. Well, the food did it. We will NEVER eat there again.

Went for lunch with a friend. There was absolutely no one sitting inside to eat however they could not seat me until my friend arrived. The table we sat at was broken so the waiter moved us, then moved us again because the second table was reserved. Even though no one else came in to dine in. The menu was dirty I had to ask for a new one. the girls bathroom is out of order. The boys bathroom is dirty. My friend ordered baked chicken yams, and macaroni. I ordered the sticky fried chicken sandwich and fries., Plus 1 chicken alfredo 1 shrimp Alfredo and 1 lamb platter to go. It took almost an hour for the food and it was absolutely disgusting all of it. The dine in food and the take out food. Then he waited until the very end to put in my togo orders in which took another hour. When I asked half way through my meal could the togo order be place I was told no. Who the hell cant make Alfredo. The music was too loud.

This place needs to do better seriously! There was so much that was unclear. The flyer on ig said brunch at 12 we got there at 1 and they had to unpack snapples and supplies. They also had to mop floors,argue about who gonna plug they phone up to speakers, and so much more. I looked at menus and the wrote with a pen prices changed. But why not print out 3 new menus because that's all they had on the counter. If yall open at 1 why do i gotta wait to sit down til 2 because yall need to unload somebody car and mop floors and sweep the rugs. How about have your staff come in a hr b4 yall ooen to get up n prep. I dont like the fact that the menus prices was wrong girl u can tell me anything. It took us a hr to get food n we were the only & i do mean only people that in there. N the women's rest room was out of order. The foid was good honestly but i won't be returning or referring anyone here. Drove 40mins for this..
The food is delicious. Had an array of fish Both cat and whiting. Both were delicious. The sweet potatoes were amazing. Also had the Mac and cheese and blackened Salmon and broccoli with rice and cabbage. I will be ordering again very soon and passing the word on. Thank you Soul Kitchen!!!
This place is fantastic. I suggest that you order before you get there. We had a 45 minute wait after we ordered our food. The food was excellent. Everything was made correctly and everyone enjoyed their food. I will definitely be going back. They also have space for events.
I'm so happy that I stumbled on this place randomly while running an errand in the area! Ordered over the phone a 4 wing combo with Mac and cheese and broccoli and everything was excellent! Wings were seasoned well and fried to perfection, the Mac was really flavorful and the broccoli was cooked well (not mushy) with a nice garlicky/butter sauce on top. The food was presented well and came with a piece of cornbread that was moist with a nice outside crust. It is a takeout spot with counters and high chairs around the perimeter to sit at while you wait. Parking can be tight on the street but I was able to find a spot just around the corner. Will definitely be back if I'm in the mood for some good soul food!!
I was sold on the name alone because this is what I was raised on not just Food from the Heart, but everything I know from the Heart will for sure produce Marvelous results. Because, anything associated with the Heart comes by way of Love. The food was Delicious!!. My family & I traveled from Center City after a co-worker from the area spoke of how good the food was. We were equally as pleased, and it was well worth our travel. We had everything from the Fried fish, Ribs, Chicken, Seafood Salad and more. Love! Loved! Loved it. The Atmosphere and Customer Service was Great!! We passed the word along and we'll definitely be back.
Chicken, vegetables, rice, all delicious. Don't doubt the food quality one bit and try it out. So yummy. I wish they gave a bit more in portions for value. I know though inflation is hitting these small businesses hard so go support them! It's owner run and she's real nice.

I placed a catering order for the Super Bowl and the food was great! I had a very friendly and prompt service experience. Everyone loved the chicken fingers and lemon pepper wings! I will definitely be back.
I ordered the Chicken and shrimp Alfredo for myself and a 4 wing platter with Baked macaroni and cheese and greens for my friend who just had a baby. She loved her food very much. I on the other hand didn’t like my Alfredo. It was a bit watery and not seasoned at all. But the service was amazing and once again, she loved her food. I will definitely go back and try something else.
Against better judgement I gave Food From The Heart another try. Food was absolutely horrid. The whiting I ordered had absolutely no taste, the yams were even worse than the fish and had a burnt tint and taste, & the Mac & cheese was lazily made. It’s a shame that businesses like this don’t appreciate their customers hard earned money. In order to remain on business, the quality of food must exceed expectations beyond the first day of business. I will guarantee that I will never support or recommend this business.
Hello everyone, I haven't frequented this place in over a year. I thought to myself let me drive the 45 minutes and treat my mother to some soul food. It was a nice young lady at the counter about 3:30 p.m. very respectful. Six chicken wings baked mac collard greens. She took my telephone number she said she would text me. I get this food home, the cheese is not even melted the macaroni is not even together the collard greens taste old. The six wings were very small as if I was eating at the Chinese restaurant. I don't know what happened it was a total waste of $28.03. You have to care about your customers. I would say that the people that ordered the mac and cheese and collard greens amongst some of the items were giving bad reviews. I just thought that they had sour grapes because I patronized this restaurant on three separate occasions in the last 18 months the customer service may not have been up to standard but their food was always a hit. Why would you give me baked macaroni and it's not even melted it's not even together do we forget the egg , the flour there's something happen with the mixture. Can collard greens taste better if you add some fat back. Really taking the back that I paid a toll to come to a restaurant that gave bad food. There's nothing wrong with throwing out some collard greens stole them in the garbage. You can have my $28.03 I will never ever come back here. Where's the cook from 18 months ago please bring him back the tall guy with the bald head and the bad attitude. However thank you for hiring young people with some respect. I wanted to try their food since I saw them on Fox 29. I was not pleased. The fish was the only thing I enjoyed. The mac had no cheese , the greens seemed canned, my yams although tasty were hard. I also had the peach cobbler which was cold, once warmed it was palatable. My cashier gave me the wrong amount of change which was cool, I wanted to eat. I envisioned better
I love leaving good reviews, and especially for black owned businesses! I was looking for something quick and affordable. This surprisingly was only $10 for the lunch special on 11/12/22. I paid an extra $1 for extra sauce, which I did not need at all because it was too Saturated with the extra sauce but I didn’t wanna chance it being dry lol. The food was delicious, and the salmon was even fresh!!! The sauce is spicy so be aware of that. The staff were two girls, one was nice, just maybe under a lot of pressure due to traffic so she was straight faced, but still had manners and greeted. The girl who gave me my food when I came back was super nice and sweet and very welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!

First time ordering from here. This location has changed names multiple times. I should of known as soon as I walked in to not expect much. It doesnt smell like anyone is getting down in the kitchen. My sides were lukewarm and its crazy because I waited 15-20 minutes for it. The bbq beef ribs were alright its smoked. The collard greens were good. The string beans were nasty like mush and salty I guess you can say overcooked. The potato salad my husband was not a fan and neither was I. And the reviews about the mac and cheese was accurate dry and just a no. The bbq chicken was dry, salty and tasted to me it was old. Yams were okay weird after taste. Just a disappointment overall and feel like I wasted my money $50 for two beef rib platters. And we actually drove a little way to try it out. Wont be a returning customer especially if Tasting it in the car I knew I would have to reheat my food. Im kinda upset but will try not waste my food. Ughhhhhhh
I got the chicken and shrimp Alfredo. I have ZERO complaints about the size or flavor my only gripe was the amount of meat that I received. I only found 3 shrimp and 7 small chicken bits in my platter. I believe that everyone has an off day so I will give them another try and suggest that everyone try this business at least twice. The ladies that waited on me were very friendly and helpful.

From the customer service, to the cooks, to the food; everything is like a dream come true. The food tastes like Grandmothers and Mothers straight from Sunday dinner. I would give 10 stars if I could, the food is absolutely amazing. I look forward to being a regular here.
I had got the baked half chicken with the Mac and yams…the sides was ok however, THE CHICKEN was HORRIBLE! To Big and very dry. I never seen baked chicken this big🤢…I would not be eating here again a waste of $30 👎🏾 Also, I was told the wait time would be 20 minutes I had to wait for 35 minutes just to get a thrown together sloppy platter smh just a waste of my time. The inside of the restaurant is minimally decorated but looks cute. There is limited seating but there seems to be a lounge area upstairs. The menu prices are reasonable (entrees ranged between $15-$40)
We had a party of 13 people and the restaurant/ staff were accommodating. The menu is not big but has good food selections.

This place is a hidden gem. Soul food with real passion and soul behind every meal. Definitely worth trying to clean that plate. BANGING!

I ate food from here once before and it was good so I made sure next time I was around that neighborhood I would go there again and let me say it did not disappoint.. the chicken was juicy/crispy.. The Mac and cheese 👌🏾 and lastly the string beans with smoked turkey were average at best but overall it’s was worth the $20👍🏾
I don't know where to start. It should have been a red flag for me when I read the reviews, but I decided to go anyway to see for myself. My friends and I went to the trap brunch. The dj was good, but he didn't interact with the customers like we saw in previous videos on ig (this was the reason for us going). There was someone selling hookah for $40. They charge a entry fee of $20 which include 1 mimosa, not bottomless like most brunch spots. Our waitress was nice but she gave us forks and just put them on the table (please see photo below). If this is supposed to be an upscale restaurant why give the forks out the way she did. The bathroom was nasty and dirty ( I don't have pix bc I left my phone on the table). Finally, our food comes out. I ordered shrimp and grits and it was super salty. One of my friends ordered the chicken and waffles, that was very good. There were kids there with their moyhers. The kids had to be no older than 5. The waitresses were twerking and the music was explicit. One of the mothers tried to cover her childs eyes and he moved her hand. Those kid should not have been there. This should have been explained to them upon arrival. Needless to say I won't be back and I will not be referring anyone else to go there. This place is ghetto trash🗑.
What a nice surprise. Just looking for a place to pick up a quick lunch. Decor is modern chic. The food is fresh and delicious. Call and ask about brunch. They have entertainment on weekends.
This food was horrible it was the worst soul food that I have ever tasted in my 49 years of living and my fiancé pulled apart his hard fried requested chicken And it was pink on the inside and slimy. The string beans taste like they were soaked in vinegar and were so soggy like they sat overnight and were just warmed up. Also, I don’t know if they ran out of cheese or they are trying to stretch but the macaroni and cheese was worse than boxed macaroni and cheese no frills an expired. I will never in life eat from this establishment again. 33$ Down the drain. Do not waste your time or money eating here you have been warned.look at them acne cheese it looks seasoning with Mrs Dash
First time…meal was ok. Collard greens, yams, grilled salmon and corn muffins were excellent!!! Fried whiting fish had bones and tasted like frozen whiting in a bag —-the seasoning was good.
Jerk chicken was dry, should be served with sauce.

You know how it is, food on your mind and even though you're hungry nothing will do like soul food. So Tasties it is and oh how good it is... As if I didn't have enough, I had some of my hubbies potato salad too.
Imagine thinking you’re going to support a business and it doesn’t turn out well. I was so excited to try their food after fasting for 14+ hours . I live a hour away from the location. Just to get there and my food wasn’t there. It was paid for but of course I never received it. If you guys don’t live in the area I suggest just having it delivered. Had I known it would be a issue with pick up for a pair order I would have done so myself.
Just happen to find this place. Lookin for shrimp 🍤 & grits. Black owned. Not bad, I forgot to ask for cheesy grits. So I had to put a lil of my own chef expertise on it. Otherwise pretty good. Shrimp were fresh. Lost most of butter gravy in the bottom of bag. Place was clean & staff was very polite with good vibes.
The food was great !! i ordered french toast with strawberries, turkey sausage links, a fried egg, and their home fries. Everything was fresh and hot
The food was amazing. Had the Whiting baked macaroni, greens, and yams. When I say that macaroni was one of the best I ever had in my life. I'm definitely going back. The place was clean the owner was very pleasant. Prices very reasonable. This restaurant should be called "Food So Good You Wanna Slap Your Mama"
I’ve ordered food several times, and the food is usually good. Today, not so much. The chicken smelled as if it was cooked in old oil. My salmon was beyond charred but burned. Furthermore the male who took the order today is extremely rude, short, & unprofessional. Please learn to be welcoming and respectful towards your customers. You are not doing customers a favor by your business being supported. I placed a large order and because of his demeanor, I truly considered canceling the entire order. I want to spend my money where I am welcomed and treated with respect.

I had a taste for soul food tonight & this place didn’t disappoint. I ordered the fried whiting platter, w/ mac and cheese, and string beans. The platter came with three large pieces of whiting, and could easily feed 2+ ppl. The fish was fresh, the mac and cheese is better than most places in the city. The string beans were okay, but definitely didn’t take away from the platter. Will be back 😁
I went to this place excited after reading the reviews ready to eat some good food. What did I found in my greens a freaking rubber bands . Now I have 14 months old that loves collard greens and she was eating it but I wanted to chop it up for her since they were a bit thick now look. Smh.
Hubby discovered this place one afternoon he was hungry and wanted something different and also wasn't in our area. Today was my second time having this food it was OK! The yams had less cinnamon than my first time, which made them taste better to me. Mac was good and so was the rice. Two pieces of fish makes this meal more than enough. I was full before I go to the 2nd piece so I'll have something to eat later. I am giving four stars because I wasn't moaning with each bite like I do when I have great food.
Baked Mac and cheese was way too salty fried chicken was ok. I also ordered stuffed salmon which had absolutely no flavor. The description on Uber eats did not specify the salmon came with rice so I ordered rice since I didn’t know and got double rice which was bland anyways. They also forgot to include one of my platters and peach cobbler that was ordered. Not pleased at all.
Great food Great Staff I ate there before and the food was wonderful. Tonight I ordered platter but they were actually closed in a since when I got there the owner wouldnt take my money. Today she was given back to the community and gave me and my family free food. I'm so grateful. Please order Dec 1 she will be back open Support black own businesses
For starters, they took forever getting the food to my Uber eats driver(she was messaging me the entire time she was there, and the workers had a nerve to get nasty with her.) It looks like they just threw my order in the bag. It's not wrapped in suran wrap or anything to stop the leakage from the platter. There's liquid all in the bottom of the bag. Then I open the platter, and it looks like they just gave me what they had left over. The portions leave a lot to be desired. Then I tasted it and was even more disappointed. The broccoli had no flavor, the salmon was overcooked, and the stuffing for the salmon was dry . This is the first and last time I will ever order from your establishment.
I order my food on Mother's Day. I understand the traffic due due to the Holiday and Covid-19, and longer than normal wait times to receive my order. With that being said...I waited an additional hour and a half outside the restaurant after I was given a time to pick up my food. The chicken wings were fried way too hard and tasted like they were cooked in fish grease. The sides however were very delicious (Mac and Cheese, Sweet Potatoes, Collard Greens) as well as the apple pie.
I order from Uber eats. I ordered the Broiled Salmon with candied yams and cabbage. I requested my salmon to be well done which it is. The salmon was okay. The issue that I do have is that the rice under my salmon was completely soaked in juice. Also the rice and the cabbage had no flavor. The candied yams tasted like they were recooked to heat. This was my first and last time ordering from this place.
It's no surprise here! This soul food place is owned and operated by people of color, my people and I'm proud to put up a five star review for hard working local Entrepreneur thats a small business! I walked in bc I was referred by a stranger and what a great referral! Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a grits guys for breakfast bc of my amazing grandma who fed it to me every day of our poor lives hahahah even at 37 yo it's still my absolute favorite breakfast item and boy does Julian do it right! The grits is made perfectly and then the shrimp on top! Ha! It's yummmmmm! Come support this local business while u wait for ur bus at the oleny terminal! Definitely a customer for life!
Soul food restaurant in the middle of Ogontz. Arrived about an hour or so before closing. The yams were gone. Still, the order was very quickly made and really tasty. It's definitely a spot to check out if you pass by the area.
Stopped by one day for lunch. Though it's not to easy to spot from a moving vehicle (in a busy area) the food is great. Seasoned well. Customer service was nice also. Would definitely return.

Ok so this is my 1st time ordering from here, the delivery time was great, food was warm and that fine but the food was very under seasoned. String beans had zero seasoning but butter, my Mac and Cheese was not fresh, taste like it was sitting for a long time. The chicken wings was under seasoned, fish was seasoned well. I also got pudding it was horrible, how can you mess up banana pudding.
Didn't have 2 items ordered. Thought it must be because the food's so good, nope! Horrible. Dry BBQ chicken, dried out Mac and cheese and broccoli mushy. Honestly it was so horrible I wish I could get my money back. I love soul food and this is in the neighborhood but I will never order from them again.
Ordered fish/ chicken combo and was not satisfied. Fish and chicken was fried too hard, sweet potato were not sweet and Mac n cheese lacked cheese.
