The location is great.

The service givers were very kind and helpful.
*Especially the manager of room service.
I felt everyone was there just for me, and it is such a big hotel.

I was staying in suite 501, and it was unexpectedly amazing - the pictures & words can not describe it... highly recommended 👌

I haven't got the chance to eat breakfast, it was closed by 10:00

But at the restaurants... the food and drinks made very good👍

The small art deco details made me feel I am in the titanic 😀

A nice thing, I have got fresh cookies every day .. (I love cookies)

& the nicest thing, the roof pool & sauna were all for me . That was amazing.

Few things for improvement :
1. I didn't know about the movies , only when I left.
2. I was at massage, the bed wasn't comfortable, and the other masseurs were very noisy and shotted doors in a way I couldn't get peace and relaxation.
3. I was at the reception 4 times in the same hour to get my key access to the water&ice room.
Eventually, they sent someone to bring water & ice, but I still haven't had access .
(Even when he left me another key - that still didn't work)
4. There is a line of people waiting for check-in , why there is only one person at the reception ?

That's it 😀
Thank you, Sommerro, I would definitely come back again.

Sincerely,
Coral 🪸

If I could give Sommerro 10 stars, I would. This is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. From Emma at the front desk (thank you for being so kind and accommodating) to the amazing team at the spa (book a facial with Cornelia, she’s amazing), I had such a wonderful experience. Dinner and live music at the restaurant were fantastic - the food was superb. Thank you Sommerro staff for making my stay so memorable. I will be back :)

Stayed two nights. Very nice breakfast. Amazing room. The pool on the rooftop, although small, is very refreshing. You have a sauna too. Expensive but worth the money

Fantastic hotel. Like going back in time 100 years to the happy 20s. The art-deco style interior is thoroughly done and combined with modern materials and tech. Great service at the reception and meeting rooms, though the breakfast service do have room for improvement. Long time to order, and waiters not properly paying attention to customers. Sleeping-rooms was terrificly decorated as well, clean and very comfortable bed. All in all a good experience.

Finally visited the bar on the top floor. Very stylish decor, friendly and helpful staff. Hope to get a seat on the terrace next time the weather is good. A good selection of drinks. I’ll definitely be back.

Went to Oslo for the first time, fell in love with the place instantly, this facility is in a great location and is easily accessible. Room was a little on the small side but it had the essentials I needed.
Staff were friendly and approachable.
Pool was nice and the restaurant facility is recommended, particularly the Black Angus.
Will miss the place but I'll be back.
Tusen Takk Sommerro!

A very nice and stylish hotel in the city centre of Oslo, spotless rooms, many decorative details (I really liked the speaker and water cooker). Excellent breakfast! One of the best hotels on our travel through Norway!!

I was very excited for my stay when I booked this hotel, I booked it with the incentive in mind that it has facilities such as outdoor pool and sauna, something I was very much looking forward to after my long business trip. However, I was very disappointed and equally very shocked to learn that I had to pay extra to use these facilities?! Which is insane and I never heard of such thing before! A hotel guest having to pay extra to use hotel facilities (Their outdoor pool and sauna which is advertised when using travel agency as part of your stay).

I had a room upgrade which I was very grateful for but this wasn’t my concern. I wanted to use the pool and sauna because I was looking forward to it. The hotel clearly advertised that it had pool, sauna and outdoor ones too, with nowhere on hotel.com or booking.com stating that extra payment is required to use these facilities. Therefore, it was very misleading and cheating clients and for this reason I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless they change this idiotic policy which clearly has not been favorable with other guests too who stayed at their hotel judging by the poor reviews.

I still think there was some positives worth mentioning despite my poor experience:

•Beautiful hotel interior, worthy to become 5 stars with so much hint of hotels such as the Ned and the Savoy in London. The hotel is stuck an art deco era, beautifully done however with great taste.

•Byredo products (Shampoo, body wash, conditioner and body lotion).

•Very Comfortable bed and pillows.

•Stunning breakfast and breakfast presentation

Points To improve:

•Put a sign in each room next to your Marshall speakers advising your guests that other people are there too. Someone was blasting their speakers 2 am at night and I woke up with strong bass playing.

•Fill your salt shakers in the restaurants for the love of your King! I was passed 6 salt shakers with no salt in them and even on breakfast it was laughable as all your waiters and waitresses were searching for one for me with salt in it, even the one they found had little to no salt in it.
