My local park - love it here. Great playground, lots of space to play and hide, one of the best places for tobogganing when it snows. Only downside is no large flat field for soccer or anything. There’s grass but mostly all hills - that’s upper Lonsdale for you!

Nice little walk trough the park to go to deep cove. I prefer to walk along the coast line tough !
But on a really hot and sunny day it’s nice and cold and fresh here so that you might enjoy the walk even more !
The nature and the trees are really beautiful and clean!
Also a nice spot for a picnic !
Some small parks for kids available where they can play.

Have a nice day !
Nice playground and waterpark.
Beautiful water park for children. Restrooms and rest areas in good condition.
Lots of play structures for kids. I would say the structure are more appropriate for kids older than 4 years old as the stairs are high for the little ones. There is no stairs to go up the slide, you will have to either climb up or use the bars to go up. Plenty of parking spots available. Would have been nicer if there were some shaded area too.

I feel this park is underrated and absolutely awesome!! You have the shore to explore and soak in the peaceful views as well as a great playground for the kids. Several hiking trails through the forest and great amenities. There is a concession spot that may open later for the summer months.
Firefighters cheers kids for water cannons ~ It's amazing and good service
Lovely waterpark for the little ones, shaded area with Adirondack chairs for conversation and keeping an eye on them. Further west along the spirit trail is a playground and labyrinth and Earnest Ice Cream

Great park. Lots for kids to do. Playground, beach, finding crabs, etc. Get down early as parking is full by noon. Lots of tables and areas for a picnic.
This playground is still closed. Looking forward for reopening. New riding toys Thomas train and a car are added in addition to the helicopter and another car
Very small, very little for kids to do. Cool old truck to climb on.
We live in Burnaby but whenever the opportunity arises, we grab food food from Cazba in North Van and drive to Carisbrooke Park to eat. The place is small but it's peaceful and pretty with the garden at the top area of the park. It's nice and cool with the tall trees and my dog just loves it there.
Very good playground and nature all around
We went to a birthday party here beside its playground. The area has a short trail and a small flattened ground beside the playground
Another nice park in the upper Lonsdale area in North Vancouver. Has a great playground and a nice garden for kids to walkthrough. Oh can't forget the nice big hill the kids can climb to expell some energy.

Playground at Queen Mary elementary school. Popular place for kids of all ages to play.
A fun place to be a big kid!
Cute little area for young ones to play, an old truck for them to climb in and "drive", fairly simple playground.
Great little neighborhood playground - we usually park at Edgemont village and walk to the play area, down the stairs and by the duck pond. It’s a short 5 minute walk, great for younger kids.

Good place for kids to play for 30 minutes.
Great spot for young children
It's a nice playground with a gated fence down the bottom of the hill. Though there is a fence it isn't a off-leash dog park and your dog or child can still run off. It is to just a prevention in case dogs or kids go chasing after their ball down the hill.
It's a fantastic park although the playground is good for children 6 and under. My son is 10 so he gets bored quickly. But they have a nice grass field where we play soccer or baseball or even have a picnic.

What a beautiful park. We understand maintenance has to happen in the summer so it was quite noisy. But the kids also enjoy the construction around.
Small but very cute area
Pretty lovely big park close to ocean and attractive playground

great playground for kids
Playground is mostly for older kids but our 20 mo have found what to do.
Its a perfect place to let your little monkey to go crazy. Area is quiet and very clean excellent place for picnic too
My kids really like this park. Great play structure and a Merry-Go-Round (those seem to be endangered these days). For the few days we have snow, this is also a good place to go sledding.
Great place for family and picnic. Nice washrooms. Kayak rentals and a seasonal coffee kiosk. But, when it is busy it's difficult to find parking and the water it's not that great for swimming because of too many boats. The scenery is beautiful and the park is big. Overall a very nice place to be out.
Waterpark plus fairly standard playground. Some trees to sit under but the play areas are very exposed.
Perfect for younger kids (up to about 4 years maybe).

It's simply a good play ground since it has access from many areas
It is a really nice park by the water. When we got there we saw two groups of families having a family picnic.
The playground was very spacious.
Theres nice big rocks you can sit on and enjoy the surrounding.
I believe there's camp set up there too.
Great park with lots of room to set up, great playground and even a beach where kids can throw rocks into the water. Etc (not a Sandy beach). We enjoy coming here as it's close to deep cove where u can then go for epic donuts, cafes etc.
One of my favorite park always, all seasons. Nice view of Burrard inlet and a playground for kids.

Fantastic playground, also has a lot seats for adult to rest while watching their children.
