Service was good but not great. Since we constantly had to tell the waitress if we needed water or any other items, compared to her keeping a check in the customer.
This place has rodents. It's unfortunate because I have ordered "to go" from this place many times and I'm disgusted just thinking about it.
We decided to dine in today and while seated saw the mouse traps under the wash stations and seating area. We paid for our drinks and left.

Perfect place and location for the typical Cuban palate.

I work like 2 minutes far away from this restaurant and the first time I went there to order some breakfast the lady was so mean and she was acting like she doesn’t like to work I wanna to order something like sweet pancakes and she was like “ we don’t have anything of that in here “ but she didn’t say it professional she was so mean with me , and she was acting like she just wanna get over and finished fast the café con leche I order small and the size was above the small size of a regular coffe I though I was having a cortadito , definitely not going back to this restaurant 🤦🏻♀️
Everytime I come to Hialeah I always have to come here and eat breakfast or lunch! The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is always on point!

HORRIBLE. I ordered a breakfast and there was rat feces (yes rat poop) inside my eggs halfway through my meal. I cannot tell you the disgust that I felt. I had to call my doctor and am currently afraid of being violently ill. This place is disgusting and filthy, and apparently rat infested. I will never come here again.
Very authentic good tasting cuban food! I always order their catering for new years and it’s absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.
My wife and I came in and ordered our fitas and a soup my wife wanted the soup before the Frita and the waitress brought everything at the same time so basically my wife ate the sandwich cold in order to enjoy her soup but couldn't really enjoy the frita because is was cold and honestly I wouldn't recommend to anyone to come here bad and horrible service.

My family and I came here a lot when I was younger it’s a cute restaurant here in Hialeah. Especially when I sit with my grandma to this day at the stools when you first walk in we get served by Marisol Luna, she’s known my family for years now. It brings back memories coming here every time I go here. I usually order tostada and a cafe con leche when I come for breakfast. I recommend you come here.
Great Tasting Cuban food on East Hialeah. Prices very reasonable. Large portions. Free parking. Fresh food made several times à day. You pick main entrée with two sides. Staff limited with English but you pick your choices from glass server. Recommend highly.
I find this place to be above it's competitors regarding prices, food quality and customer service.
Great spot for food excellent coffee lovely people. If you do not at least speak basic travel Spanish it maybe a little confusing.

I waited patiently for 10min being the only person at the window, after which when other patrons walked up the window server skipped over me and began helping others. I said I was next, and asked for a cuban sandwich. I was told go inside with an attitude. I was insulted. I could have been told that 10 min earlier. I chose not to patronize this business. People have to be treated with dignity and respect. Horrible experience.
This place is a hidden gem. I’ve been coming here for good home cooked Cuban meals for the last 25 years. Everything on the menu is amazing but my favorite is the Lechon asado, moros and fried plantains plate. Great affordable prices and they also cater for parties and events. They've catered a few parties for me through the years and it’s always been a smash!
We were served by Barbara and she was an absolute joy! We came in a few minutes they closed but she wasn’t rude or exasperated at all! We realized how clean it was and felt bad so we even offered to go to another iHop that’s 24 hours and she told us that we weren’t a burden at all. She chatted with us and was kindly and friendly! I would go back here simply for her. We even had a toddler with us, who is very hyper and she was very kind and funny with her! The food was pretty good too! Thank you so much Barbara for treating me and my family with compassion!

We usually visit El Rey de las Fritas at Calle 8 and wanted to try this location. While our experience was good, we noticed a few differences: food is tastier at the Calle 8 location, like the Frita is juicier; also, at Calle 8 staff are way friendlier and the overall atmosphere of the place is more vibrant. In general, we enjoyed our fritas and highly recommend this place, but we find a more pleasurable experience visiting the Rey de las Fritas at Calle 8.

Time: 7/31/23 [ 9pm] incredible attention. Our waitress was Marisela, attentive all the time, it didn't take a minute for the water and starters to be on the table, the atmosphere was perfect, the music was right, the food was very well organized on the table, the waiting time was short I hope that the comments of other local guides are positive since I have been pleased and more than 100% satisfied with visiting this Cuban restaurant. I thank the administration for their good work team, my blessings to the bartender who prepared me one (michelada) gave it a god level touch, I will definitely be back

I ordered the app trio (deep fried food) the food was so dark I don't think they changed the oil in over a week or more after reading the reviews I see they are not intended in being the best. They just want to get by the service was good on Sunday at 5am probably won't be back unless they can prove they are trying to change

I came here for my birthday and it was amazing. I ordered the steak omelette and it wasn’t how I wanted it. They prepared me another one without an attitude. I was very happy. This was before I stated it was my birthday thank you to my waitress Ms. Sandra job well done.

Amazing price per meal, I got impressed by having a large quantity in each plate I asked for, and the final ticket was around $20.

Place was empty as always, but I decided to go and order the top 3 dishes. Surprisingly only 2 were really good. Waiter was very nice and attentive and overall, there's only 1 IHOP in Miami that is "good" and it's the one in Miami Beach. Any other, is just the same as this one.

There was only 5 tables occupied and still everything took a longer than usual time. They also forgot to bring out certain sides. Best part was that they brought back the savory crepes.

The manager came by out table and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. The restaurant was clean and everyone seems to be taking pride in keeping it that way.

I have to say IHOP has upped their pancake game, I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how quick we were seated on such a busy day and the place was packed due to the 4th of July holiday, but the youg lady Diana who served my family was flawless in her work, she could give a class in how to give service with a smile. The food was brought out in a very timely manner, and the sirloin tips were cooked to perfection
Took like 40 min to bring our food, and the restaurant was empty! Pancakes arrive 10 min later after I finished my dish (same happened to my wife). Waitress services was okay, but the last lady that came with the check was rude, and this restaurant doesn’t offers contactless payment options… who in this time does not offer something as dumb apple pay
The only place in Miami that didn't want to screw me with their food prices. Food is good. Avoid the "Mashed Potatoes" at all cost thou.

My last time coming here. Just for pickup it’s 45 mins. Understaffed (1 bus boy) with dirty tables in half the restaurant. Line of people waiting to sit.

My family went here for some good real Cuban food. My husband use to eat here when he was young. We kinda got a little of everything 😁 Our waiter was very helpful and provided excellent service. I also had to have a Cuban Mohito, which was really good. The food was good but not as good as my mother-in-laws cooking. We felt the food could have used some more seasoning. There was only one problem, the restrooms where disgusting. Overall a good restaurant for the price, as long as they clean up the restrooms.
Horrible service, second time in this place and takes forever to order… I will understand if the place were full of capacity but honestly wasn’t even half capacity.
I have come here several times with my family and received good service. But today (2/19/2023) they decided not to come take our order assuming we only speak English! My family is bilingual! We were waiting for 15 minutes for someone to come take our order. At least 3 families came in after us and got their food ordered. When my husband asked what’s going on in Spanish that’s when one of the waitresses said oh we thought you needed someone that speaks English. And he had previously spoke to a waitress in Spanish when we sat down and they brought us water. We ended up leaving without eating because of the assumption and discrimination!!!! So disrespectful! Ridiculous service!!

I ordered ihop via Uber eats and i was soooo disappoint with my food. The waffles had burnt pieces of something all over it and the portion they gave me of hash browns was ridiculous. They only gave me ONE egg when i paid for 2 and didn’t include any syrup for my waffles or ketchup or butter or utensils or napkins. Horrible.
I have been eating at this restaurant for many years, since they separated from Latin America on 68th Street...when Lazaro was a cook, the food was spectacular and cheap...this part has been around for a while, the food has no quality, today I went to give him another Chance with My family, I ordered horrible chicken rice, it was yellow rice without any type of seasoning and one and a few pieces of chicken that they made soup and threw them there however I wanted, I couldn't eat it.
My husband ordered pork chops, they were raw! he couldn't eat them. My daughter-in-law ordered grilled chicken the same way, no seasoning almost raw. My son ordered grilled chicken the same situation and the food extremely expensive for the place and the quality four people $70 for they do not have quality or good service and extremely expensive. I do not recommend it nor do I plan to return.

We catered food from El Imperio de La Comida for my family’s New Year’s Eve party and the food was delicious! Their arroz imperial was the party favorite, everyone was asking where it was from! Along with their tasty lechon, congri, yuca, and maduros, we had a complete meal that catered to everyone’s tastes! I plan to have their food catered at all my future parties. I’d recommend it to all others too!

Another year and another holiday treat. So I loved the Grinch pancakes and 2021 the wonderland pancakes. This year it was the seasonal French toast. So on Christmas eve this location wasn't busy. The waitress Sandra was pleasant and very nice. The service was good. The food was even better. The steak omelette was tasty and we didn't have to LOOK for the steak. The French toast was fresh, warm, fluffy and oh so good. Could have had just a bit more berries. But the berry sauce was tasty. No syrup needed.

Great food, easy to find, and no long waiting for good hot temperature food. Like stopping here for breakfast. Even though the McDonald's is in the plaza Cuban coffee and milk is delicious. Will definitely be there every time I am in the area. Next to Publix
This was my first time coming to this restaurant but I was blown away by the food. The portions are big, the price is cheap, and the food is DELICIOUS! I could hardly finish my food but it was so good I powered through and finished it all...go big or go home, am I right? The servers and cashiers were excellent, the atmosphere was chill, and the place was clean. 5/5 would recommend and will DEFINITIVELY come back again! 👍

Great food. Breakfast or lunch the food had always been good and tasty. I enjoy eating here wherever possible. I highly recommend them.
Never had cuban food, so wanted to try it. The yucca wasnt fried and the plantain was harder (which is what I ordered) thr oxtail looks good and will dig into it. It looks more seasoned then usuall which is a good thing. They get packed at lunch so the food is must be pretty good (havent started eating) will return.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. The food wasn't good. Part of the French toast was burned others parts were under cooked. They totally forgot two items that was supposed be with the meal. Even we told them, they again forgot to bring the second item. That's fine. It was first and last visit here :)
