We come in and are seated but then takes server 15 min to come to us. And it was not at all busy. I notice people come in waiting to be seated no one goes to seat them after a long wait they leave. Finally take our drink order and wait another 15 to 20 minutes to have our food order.

IHOP, I go for the crepes when in Grand Forks. Canada doesn’t offer the crepes. Boooo. All the usual breakfast suspects with an assortment of pancake options. Decent bottomless coffee ☕️

Caribou is great because the drinks are reliably the same and the staff are usually friendly.

It's IHOP. Coffee was hot, hash browns are awesome. Pricey

We've been stopping here for years on our way home from fargo. Noticed the last couple of times we've gone there that it was going downhill. Sorry to see that. Must be very short handed or employee's called in, not sure. Had a hostess that seemed confused went to clean off a table for us started then left it came back to her counter and left again. Then the busboy wiped down the table left the food on the seat, didn't dry it. Hostess brought us to the booth(this was about 20 min.) 10 min later took our order. Took 30 min to get the food The bad part was there seemed to be only one waitress. Not exactly sure what the couple of other employee's were there for. They didn't jump in and help when needed. Not very clean, sticky floors dirty bathrooms. 5 of us ate there bill was 75+. Maybe 18 customers when we got there.

The last time we went, it was an awful experience. But after 8 months we tried it again and it was a much better experience. Hopefully they can maintain their nice staff and great cooks!

my husband and i were excited to eat here it’s been a long time. we walked in and weren’t greeted at all. we sat and waited for 20 minutes to be seated and no one came the workers looked but that was all we got. we then just left because at that point they didn’t deserve our money. every other table had dirty dishes nobody was cleaning it. very disappointed.

The crew is FABULOUS and so kind! I've seen them slammed with customers on multiple occasions and they pull through the rush like rockstars.

I received an email stating that I had a free treat from Caribou for my birthday and what a GREAT treat and idea for my 70th! All the workers greeted me with a Happy Birthday wish! So thoughtful of them. And, like always, my coffee was absolutely delicious!! Thank you again!

Love, love, love this caribou!! It is so clean, and the people are friendly! I have NEVER gotten a bad drink from this location! Mind you, I have been here countless times!

They either need a busy adjoining business or to build their own standalone location. If Pete's Za would be bustling with activity, it would benefit this Caribou location.

Update: had much better service this time. Waitress was wonderful. Was still God awful slow and way way understaffed but was actually able to eat.

I was surprised with IHOP. Its been a long time since I've been here and its changed for the better. Service was friendly, prompt and polite. She packed my to go order and kept everything separate. Pancakes were fluffy and tasty, the Tres Leche and the blueberry were spot on. Everything was cooked very well and good portions. Even got a condiment goodie bag with lots of hot sauces, ketchup and syrup with the plastic ware. I'll give them a try again. Looking forward to the next "Pancake of the Month" flavor. UPDATE - tried the steal tips, very tasty and juicy. The bacon jam benedict was very good as well, just needed more of the jam. The pancakes weren't as good as last time, a little dry. Over it was a good meal.

Elena at the drive through was very nice and attentive! No fault of hers, the scone I ordered was a bit on the dry side, but decent flavor. the Honey Lavender Iced latte is heavenly! hope it could stay as a staple on the menu!

Good food and always hot, delicious coffee. John is always such a positive staff person and so kind. All the staff are friendly. A favorite place that we like to go too.

IMO better coffee and beverages than Starbucks. My wife and I both prefer the Americano from Caribou Coffee than anywhere else. Staff are helpful, patient and friendly. I love the country lodge atmosphere. I wish there was a Caribou Coffee in my home city.

Took us almost 30 minutes to get our drinks, no silverware, order came out wrong (wrong eggs and missing hashbrowns). The food we did get was undercooked and bland. It just seems like the standards this place had when it opened up are gone.

P.S. I am not a Karen, there are just way better experiences than this to be had in GF. Treat yourself right.

Great food, service was a mess but none-the-less, food was good, people were friendly and convenient location. I would revisit this establishment for another great burger

My family of 7 were seated in a large, more private area where we were able to visit and open presents without interruption. It was the perfect half way driving distance for all of us. Food was good and our waitress was very accommodating.

How did I not know this place existed?! The food was delicious (albeit a bit too much but hey. Leftovers, right?), the service was top notch and the ambiance is like a fancy mom 'n pop place. A new fav for sure!

Excellent place for good home cooked food. Clean restaurant with excellent wait staff well worth a try if you're in Grand Forks. Great prices. I had the clubhouse with sweet potato fries,it came with really turkey, ham bacon, lettuce cheese,mayo and tomato. So good. Great portion sizes for seniors and regular folks . I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Laid back quieter atmosphere perfect for Breakfast in my opinion. They just released a few new items so we had to try one of them. We went with the Philly Rolls with Queso & it was probably one of the best philly based items in Grand Forks I've had! Never had bad meal here, I usually go for the Northside Skillet or the Garbage Omelete with a side of Hollindaise but if they don't have Hollindaise that day I go for the Stuffed Country Skillet.

Came in on a sunday, the tables that came in after us got their food before we did. We got no explanation from our server, Twila who gave very poor service the whole time we were there. She was rude and obviously didnt want to be there! Only reason im giving 2 stars is because the food was pretty good. Won't be coming back.

Good food, good service, and our waitress, Dolly, was friendly and fun. Glad we took a chance and stopped by this morning. Before today's visit, we had only been here twice; both times were shortly after the restaurant opened for business, and both visits were terrible. This one was perfect and a great way to start our day. Thanks to Northside Cafe and Dolly!
