Escape to Port Arthur Lavender Farm for a tranquil retreat amidst Tasmania's beauty. Wander through fields of lavender, learn about the distillation process, and indulge in lavender-infused treats at the charming café. It's the perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Lovely store - stopped by for a quick shop and snack. Highly recommend the lavender ice cream and we bought a few lavender chocolate and lavender pouches, candles for family. The food is great and seating and view is wonderful. Sadly it wasn't lavender season so the bushes weren't as purple as we expected. Was quite close to our Tasman Cruise boarding location so we were able to plan this together.
Cafe was pretty big and modern, quite impressed with the calm vibes of it. You can sit next to glass wall so you can see the beautiful view of lavender farm and a lake. Tried lavender white hot chocolate, lavender scones and lavender pancakes. I like the hot chocolate and the appearance is very pretty. The pancakes were very nice too, and lavender ice cream was beautiful, not overpowering. Scones werent the best we’ve had, it was a tad dry and quite big so a bit hard to finish with the amount of cream they give you. I hate when they are stingy in giving cream.

A lovely and peaceful place! We had an excellent meal (I would appeciate more bacon in the carbonara but is was really good). The cheesecake is really good, the slice is huge but if you’re really hungry, it will be fine!

Lavender milkshake is so good!
Beautiful gift shop with everything lavender from oils, candles, lip balm and tea (personal favourite is the lavender chocolate and honey!)
The lavender garden is beautiful and overlooks the lake, there is also a giant chess set to help keep the kids entertained while you have some coffee.
Beautiful place. Lavender cheesecake was beautiful. The raspberry compliments so well. Can’t say I enjoyed the Daiquiri. Bit soapy in flavour. Wildlife around is nice.

Lovely atmosphere, nice outdoor seating overlooking the lavender garden. Friendly staff and very efficient, quick service. A pleasant place to have lunch although the food was ordinary.

Food was quite expensive and overall quality wasn’t the best. It was a novelty to try the lavender infused spider and ice cream, but the pancakes were too dry and tough. The beef stack and fish & chips were too dry and overcooked, but the presentation was good. The polenta and mushroom stack was passable though the polenta was too bland.

Came for the cafe, though the lavender wasn't in season. Totally forgot about the lavender ice cream as the menu was full of interesting things, in particular the steak stack! It was so delicious, lovely creation of porterhouse steak with potato, bacon, huge juicy mushrooms, cheese and sweet potato flakes! The shop had lots of interesting lavender items.

I had the scallop pie which was quite nice. The salad however was pretty average. They probably should look at redoing that, it has a nice warm atmosphere inside, if you’re there to look at lavender probably be best calling to see if the plantation is in Bloom as there was no fully grown lavender as it had just been replanted, but they do have a nice little gift shop as well

The cafe is lovely. The shop is nicely set out and has great lavender products for personal use and gifting. You can check their website to see how the harvest is going. We visited when there weren't a lot of blooms on the lavender rows.

Had lunch at the lavender farm and the we basically ordered lavender everything. The portions were huge. The fish & chips and pancakes were pretty good. Wouldn’t recommend the scones as they were pretty plain and dry. We got lavender cream to go with the scones and we wished that the lavender taste was stronger. The lavender hot chocolate was also a bit of a let down as there wasn’t much lavender taste and the hot chocolate wasn’t one of the best.

We had a lovely peruse around the gift shop afterwards and they had so many options if you’re into lavender scents. We wished the lavender field was bigger though as it was pretty small.
Beautiful and calm place. Very friendly staff with perfect service. The coffee is incredibly good. I loved it ❤️

Popped in for a light lunch after visiting the historical site nearby.

Food is not bad, but $26 for a scallop pie (3 tiny pcs) was a bit of a let down. Beautiful establishment, wished we could have seen the lavender bloom but wrong season.

Lavender ice cream is a must try though!
Want purple ice cream? 💜🍨 Or lavender-scented anything? This is your spot.

A bit of a destination in Port Arthur, Port Arthur Lavender has everything lavender. Nice little cafe with beautiful views.

A great option, because honestly, there isn't much to eat in the town itself.

Beautiful setting and delicious lunch. The gnocchi was so yummy and the fish was the best I’ve had! The view was wonderful. No lavender in bloom but to be expected in winter. Lovely stop.
Nice quiet place. We stopped by on the way to Port Arthur. Lots of interesting lavender products. Would recommend trying the lavender ice cream. Cafe has a nice view of the bay/lake
